I'm just thinking. I'm 50 next March. I've been a fan since 1988. Marillion and their mind blowing music have been in my life longer than they haven't been , if that makes sense
H... I love you 💝 Your honesty, vulnerability, authenticity & joy (at the beginning of this video you bring tears to my eyes 🥺💝) First times I ever saw Marillion live as a full grown 50 year old adult 🤪😀after not being into them as a teenager (I was into Led Zep,Deep Purple,Hendrix,Dylan Etc) ...there was a feeling of there's something different and special here🤔....Especially that Mr.H❗ I wasn't quite sure what at first but that feeling was right... "Special & different"❗ After half a dozen gigs n a couple of weekends still loving them 💕 See you Xmas Christmas 🎄 time in Oxford 🎹 H ❗😁🥳 ...Love 🎼🎶🎸🎵Marillion🎸🎹🎶🎵 & that H bloke 🥰😋🤗 💕🙏
Seen this band live so many times over the last 20+ years. Many good memories. Images of such mass crowds gatherings seem so surreal now and from another world and time...Sad to think that we don't know when this can happen again without fear
When you stop being afraid of catching a fucking cold, that's when. We get it, Covid is bad, but it's just a virus, it's not the bloody aliens invading Earth. Ontologically, it's not THAT different from any other virus that humanity has ever dealt with in its long history, except it's pretty fucking contagious and has a tendency of causing pneumonia. We even have vaccines and shit and medicine far more advanced than Ancient Greece had - and yet they invented the Olympics. Life has to go on. If anything, I'd worry about 70 years olds commuting to work in metros in tightly crowded cities, not Marillion gigs.
Seen Marrillon many times. Several years ago at The House of Blues on the Sunset Strip. Sadly gone now but both nights were so memorable. Thanks for alot of heart and artistry. Loved each concert.
when you think a good percentage of that audience are those of a certain age, its quite something. Being in the same room and feeling that energy with them is quite something, it really is. and for a performer... to hear your stuff being sung back at you, even if it just by a few people let alone crowds this size.... that shit is like opium. You cant get enough of it.
Marillion fans are awesome, singing whole songs to themselves. Great band, great fans.
