Evidently, Odd became a little more skilled as time went on, to the point where he lost his crown for most devirtualizations. Seems having the most limited abilities made him become more serious, even if slightly.
It entirely makes sense in the context of the episode. She had a dream foreshadowing this moment and her father's death, and as she sees it come true she's paralyzed by fear.
I completely agree, going from skill set and weaponry she can take down a number of creatures with the use of HIGH accurate dan usage. Even using telekinetic energy to move around land she’s good to take down many of X.A.N.A’s threats even without her weapon. EVEN if folks say she wasn’t targeted we can all agree XANA took his most devious approaches to devirtuilizing her all the time yaknow? Like especially at crucial points in fights and battles

I think being crushed to death is the worst. I think it completely incapacitated Yumi in one episode where normally they would at least be able to pick themselves up
Yumi is has a lot of potential but unfortunetley they made her dirty (i feel they wrote her lazy on lyoko) with the amount of devirtulizations she will have much less kill counts.

How come Aelita doesn’t carry a weapon with her like a staff, spear, daggers, short sword, laser crossbow or even an axe? Hell, can’t she just use some form of magic to kill Xana’s minions? That would make Yumi, Odd and Ulrich’s job protecting her much easier.
So on a per-season basis, here's the average score for each of them Odd: 12.25 Ulrich: 10 Yumi: 13.5 Aelita: 4 William: 12 William obviously only has a single season to really compare to, but I'm surprised Yumi got devirtualized so much. Aelita's score being so low makes sense since she's the only one that could deactivate the towers, and she didn't actually have a proper body to devirtualize in the first season. Not to mention that she wasn't really able to lose all her points for devirtualization until season 3 (might've been near the end of season 2, it's been a while since I watched this masterpiece of a show)
