This was epic. I'd love to see more shows like that. I feel like interviews with PM rockstars should last longer - at least 1 hour. She has so much to share.
@@tryexponent That would be great to see interviews with Ken Norton, Andrey Doronichev, Julie Zhuo, Ian McAllister etc. You did a great job in terms of questions you asked. I'd love to hear follow ups/more in-depth questions on each topic you covered in the interview. Other than that I'd be curious to hear about their path and evolution as PMs, challenges they overcome as PMs, how's their regular working day look like, how do they organize their work, how do they build and manage teams of PMs, how do they interview other PMs and what skills matter the most for them when they assess a candidate for a PM role.
I'm only halfway through her book but "Cracking the PM Career" and "Continuous Discovery Habits" are the best PM books out there for current product managers and "Cracking the PM Interview" is the best book for getting PM roles. She is such a wealth of knowledge. Far better than the content created by SVPG, despite them having some classic titles like "Inspired". Definitely read her books!
I have recently joined a new company and was feeling a bit directionless on how to approach. This video just instilled confidence in me and gave me direction! Thanks Stephen and Jackie! I want many more videos like this!
