The Broducer either set up that joke perfectly or he doesn’t really know the meaning of simp. Either way I died laughing lmao
Haven't watched you dudes for awhile. How do you have only 4k subscribers? Maybe Forrest should be shirtless, or wear two shirts.....I don't know, I'm not in marketing.
It was only like 1000 2 weeks ago
Two shirts… I think this guys onto something
I really don’t understand neither
This aged perfectly! They’re at 161k subs!!
@@HoldenDown 179 now!
It's amazing how many survival tips can be boiled down to "just pretend ur dead and hope the animal gets bored and leaves before you die"
v
"Simp is an Internet slang term describing someone who shows excessive sympathy and attention toward another person, typically someone who does not reciprocate the same feelings, in order to win their affection. This is usually done in pursuit of a sexual relationship. Wikipedia"
The shark is a rescued shark that was living at the Mississippi Aquarium. She had many surgeries to try and fix her spine. Her name was Stella. She passed away on June 2, 2021 after her most recent surgery…
I love how Forrest just says no totally deadpan when Retep says something stupid like being able to fit under a door
Enjoyed this episode, especially BR. I just lost it after your first pics. 1.Forrest - I would club dumpster turkey with golf club. 2.Papa P - I have pool ducks who are not afraid of me, I will catch and kill them. 3. Retap - He knows some fucking street rooster and he would just straight up murder it. And all of this after discussing horror movies and most terrible shark attack frenzy on humans :D Who won BR? For the first time I would say its a tie. Would love to taste all of the dishes.
Just fyi - this channel is one of the rare cases where I watch ads till end just to support channel. Thanks for the episode guys.
I love the mystery animal segment fav part of podcast keep doing it!
34:21 sorry to say but its not that. Its someone who is like overly nice to a woman but everyone calls each other simps so even if you talk to a girl youll be called a simp
Brosner for life, congrats on 80 💗
I used to live on an island off NZ,one day I was driving round the farm on the bike to go fishing in a few different spots, when I was going along past this Bay I saw a pod of 4 dolphins one big grey one and a couple others . They were herding fish,I got all excited ran down striped off and started going out to them lol about half way I blew my shepherds whistle and they stopped what they were doing and came swimming towards me I had fun for half an hour trying to follow them round and they would swim round me ,the big grey one was like the boss and he was the one that came the closest and let me touch him and there was a mother and baby they would come and go spinning round me , honestly it's one of the coolest things I've ever experienced ....I've seen whales and stuff too ,played with kiwi's and penguins .I had a pretty good growing up
Damn man that's awesome. Wish everyone could do shit like that maybe less would die
The best jump scare of all time is in Nocturnal Animals hands down 100%. If you know, you know.
I want that jingle as a ring tone lmao, keep it up guys
Retep and the robot dogs bit reminds me of something Norm Macdonald would’ve said.
I just found this podcast. I love it!
Great ep bros!! 20 eps away from the big one!
My great uncle lied about his age and joined the navy at 16 he ended on the Indianapolis and was in one of the large groups of swimmers. Unfortunately I never got to meet him but from my understanding he survived and had severe problems because of how long his body was submerged.
My father told me stories that the men that survived the ship sinking swam out far away from everyone else and stayed quiet, they heard screaming thru the night and being alone was safer which usually isn't the case
A similar dolphin thing happened years ago at west beach in south australia, a pod of dolphins circled a group of swimmers to protect them from a great white, there was footage on the news report so it's probs on YT somewhere...
Fun fact, 1 installment of the Scream series was partially filmed in my town. Plymouth, MI.
Really been enjoying the podcasts, cool to hear Forrest used to keep guppies
Honestly the gas pump chicken sounds pretty nice. Gotta give Peter the dub
The shark with the bent spine... the disease is called tetra disease I had a certain fish in my tank that would do that and I searched it up and it's that forsure just like forrest and his guppies lol
Th Body Mass Index (BMI) mentioned around 40:00 is a weight to skeleton ratio.
Someone could have 0% body fat (for the sake of argument) and be jacked but still be considered obese because they could be too heavy for their own skeletal structure.
(Below 18 BMI is underweight, 18-24 is “normal”, 25-30 is overweight, 30-40 is obese and 40+ is morbidly obese)
I remember being 5'7"-5'8" and weighing 145 lbs in 8th grade, and being "malnourished" according to my BMI
Men and women have different scales since women need more fat
When he said the best jump scare my mind immediately went to Descent
Great one boys!
“We are Discovering extinct animals… I’ve got dysentery”😂😂😂
What no one put the "The Thing(1982)" on their scary movie lists
Did NOT expect the DK/Seahawks crossover 😂
Yeah THAT hereditary scene, I will never forget the first time I watched it
New favorite podcast
My Battle Royal answer: Fried Thylacine... with a side of mashed red potatoes and corn...with rendered Emperor Penguin fat gravy... amd a chocolate moose for desert but the chocolate came from a coco plantation where the only laborers are enslaved monkeys...
Yes, more bizarre animal of the week please. It’s very interesting. Vote for Forrest for BR. Patrick almost won until he did a dandelion side.
I guess I had never heard of other stories of dolphins protecting humans from sharks… in 1986 a group of friends went to Sharm El’Sheik , a desolate area before it became a tourist destination. We were college students returning to Egypt for the summer… one of us (Didi), could not swim but cam with us to Sharm for the week nonetheless… the area we were at was completely uninhabited, we didn’t see another human the entire time there and the beach to reef was about 100metres of really hot water until the water was a couple of feet deep… we were all snorkeling at the reef edge where the drop off looked like atleast 100 of more feet… and suddenly someone yells Shark, most of us thought it was a stupid joke because we were paying more attention to not being stung by overpopulation of lionfish at the reef dropoff. Didi, who was in a giant inner tube was splashing like a crazy person and we then saw a white tip heading towards him… just as the shark got within 20 feet, out of nowhere, 2 dolphins appeared and distracted the shark away…
lets make bizarre animal of the week a weekly seg
Agreed.
BMI is used for general population as a survey method and not used for research purposes. The more accurate method is to measure body composition; the ratio of lean muscle to body fat. The skinfold method, hydrostatic electric test, and Bio-impedance methods are the most accurate to measure Body Composition.
The decent was the only scary movie got me scared because the Jump scare was after when you anticipated the jump scare. That’s how it always got me but I was a young one back in the day of that one.
Simp does not mean simpleton 😂
In the movie Jaws the scene at night on this small boat the character portrayed by Robert Shaw tells the tale of the USS Indianapolis as he was a surviving crew member. He talks about delivering a payload and then the explosion with men in the water and the shark attacks. That scene was so well done and so eerie.
I love watching Richard Dreyfus (Hooper) in that scene. He and Robert Shaw (Quint) pretty much hated each other, but in that scene you can see Dreyfus staring at Shaw with a look of awe, he was aware he was watching someone deliver the performance of a lifetime, he was witnessing greatness.
Thank you both for recognizing the connection! I'm way behind on this but that's the first thing I thought of when i heard the conversation. One of the best monologs in any movie, in my opinion. It's a scene that lives with me both in the wild times and in movie history!
I did not get the strangest animal...interesting..but I want more of these!
The mass shark attack you talked about is the same stoy the captin in Jaws was telling.
47:35 the best jingle
The more technology progresses the more I want to escape to a cabin in the woods completely disconnected from society.
It'd be bliss wouldn't it.
There was also a boat that went down where about half the crew knew help was on the way and the other half didn’t, the ones that didn’t know died while the others held out. Human spirit.
Also even the Japanese came to the captains side saying he did what he said he was doing.
I know the exact scene in Hereditary Patrick is talking about lmao
Pat is right about Hereditary being great. Ari Aster may be the most highly anticipated modern horror director. A lot of people loved Midsommar too, the movie he made after Hereditary.
Another horror movie I might add to the list is Cabin in the Woods.
20 away from the big 100
Instant better night
I knew it was in the hymenoptera family and was guessing an ant. Those and termites are the only orders with female dominate colonies, and termites eat wood so it had to be one of the other 3 suborders. Bees and wasps don't jump either.
Pink peppercorn in the urethra sounds fun
I’d have to say John Carpenter’s “The Thing” is my favorite scary movie of all time
AGREED
That whole shark fiasco is so similar to the story of the Japanese soldiers getting merked by another aquatic predator- crocodiles
They had it coming
I was def thinking some type of ant or termite
We have to see the outfit from Istanbul the blue one🤣
Best thing from "Frozen" is a song called Helicopter Fight Song by Helicopter Helicopter
Road to 100 episodes
Peter's reason for watching My 600lbs life is the exact reason I watch it 😂😂
Like damn, that could be me if I buy another variety box of Lays. It gives me a healthy fear of getting too fat 😅
Funny enough his "ideal BMI" that he quoted us exactly the same for my ideal BMI 😂😂 wow. Am I just a female Peter
Sweet episode 80 again
Boston Dynamics is the robot company 🐕🤖
Been a huge fan of Forrest since naked and afraid. Not too many people can say they've seen their hero's butt ass naked running around on a tropical island. I'd love to be part of extinct or alive.
Dog Soldiers...worth watching......and the Evil Dead remake made my hair stand up
Awesome podcast as usual, but just to help y’all out. Simp now a days means someone who chases after every girl who basically shows them human kindness, and they just want a… well… “reward” let’s say.
Lmfaooooo no it doesn’t 😂😂😂
Simp is short for simpleton. Meaning they're of a simple mind. Many uses for the word, bud.
We need “oh I’ll feed you baby birds” merch
as far as scary goes the blair witch project fucked me up as a kid 😂😂
We desperately need time stamps
The cure for wellness.
Oh animal planet isn’t down with a 20in lizard but there okay with Bigfoot???
Best animal pod around
Simp doesn’t equal simpleton 😂
As a DARPA underling, no way the platforms designed by Boston Dynamics has any other purpose than a weapon platform
I live near a pond which has a massive soft shell turtle which would be my protein. I have prickly pear near my house which would be a sweet dessert and sagebrush for spice and hibiscus salad.
A criminally overlooked gem:
Pandorum (2009) British-German science fiction horror film... with a great twist.
The Indianapolis sank in July 1945, four and a half years after Pearl Harbor.
They'd already delivered the bomb to Tinian before they were sunk by I-19 en route to the Philippines.
Captain MacVay never went to prison, at all. He was court-martialed but was never sent to prison. He was effectively pardoned by Admiral Chester Nimitz and retired as a rear Admiral himself.
The second ship was called Costa Concordia and yes the captain got charges and is still in prison for it....
The original Texas chainsaw doesn't even show very much. That's the genius of that film. Everyone remembers it being ultra violent and bloody but it isnt. heh
13 ghosts is the scariest ever. Hands down
Surprised the leprechaun movies weren't mentioned as a DFL.
I think I’ll go with Peter because the citrus pie is enticing me
I knew it was some sort of jumping ant because of daily dose of internet
Ok y'all finally let Peter cook 😂😂
guessed ants but didnt get it right :)
I was thinking termite or something
WE NEED A RANDOM VLOG FROM ALL OF YOU put it in the same video and us fans are going to rewatch the fuck out of it😂😂😂
the car was probably a donation to that person.
Pool Duck AKA The Tony Soprano Special
I knew it was a ant but didn't know which so I guessed slaver ants
Them being wrong about simp is so funny😂
You being ignorant is even more funny. 😂
Top 3 and DFL
1. Sinister
2.The Witch
3. The autopsy of Jane doe
DFL: Too many truly terrible wastes of time but I'm guessing Sabertooth
The original EXORCIST. Still scared the hell out of me.
DK is far from the fastest dude in the NFL but he's freakishly fast to be that size for sure
1. Insidious 2. Sinister 3. Annabelle Creations
I'm so pissed I'm only now finding out about this channel 👍
Sounding yourself w pink peppercorns
Thanksgiving? You gotta have venison. It's easy and it's arguably more traditional than Forrest's turkey.
Anyway I think Forrest wins. I don't have faith Pat won't ruin that duck.
What was the worst mass murder by wildlife if those sharks killed 300 people 😬 overnight
Probably the Japanese soldiers that were eaten by the crocodiles in the South Pacific islands during ww2
GEEZE! How many gallons of seamen is that?
The Indianapolis requested an escort ship with sonar but was denied. They were headed to the Philippines
Dog soldiers
Pandorum
The legend of boggy creek
Dark was the night
i would have never said indian but i came up with jumping ant and a flat ass guess😂
What do you guys mean by DFL?
