I have my late dad's 59 F100 styleside long bed truck he bought new in Southern California. It has the 223 six engine. The only option he bought with it was the dealer installed heater. He bought an aftermarket outside clamp on passenger car trailer towing mirror for the driver side. Later in 1970, he bought a Ford telescopic arm mirror from a dealer. The dealer parts department was clearing out older vehicle parts, and only had 1 mirror left for the 57-60 trucks. He got it quite cheap, but wished he had another one for the driver side. One day when I restore the truck, I'll match the mirror assembly.

Is it 59 or a 58? I had a 58 with a 60 hood. I do believe that the 57 is the sweetest looking of that era.

Tom Spencer I have a 57 big window that I am wanting to get a original v8 grill for. If you don’t have one would you know of anyone that does have one?

Hello, beautiful truck. I have one I'm about to start restoring. What was the estimate cost if I may ask to do it your way. 👍

Probably around $30k, just sold it, if you’re going custom, I would find 03 and up CV, running and driving good car, use it, or get a jag front, if I had to do again, mustang 2 style front, Ford 3.8 v6 auto they get great mileage, that was my last vehicle, I got seriously injured and just can’t do anything, the cv fronts are nice and cheap you will be limited on wheels, if you’re on FB Those Guys and Gals page have great people with lots of info,

@@tomspencer8717 Thank you so much for the info. I'll look in the CV setup. I watch a guy do it. But he has to cut the bed. Any way I can avoid that?
