EXCELLENT JOB! I will be making two of these for my deck. Your presentation was PERFECT! I really liked the "shout out" to your mom. That was so sweet!❤
Aww thank you soo much. My mom actually sent me a new fountain that is sooooo cool, it stores some energy and works at night with a light… it’s sooo pretty and I love it runs in the evening now too. I now want to make another one for the other side of my yard 💙
@@carmelavicaria7129 thank you so much!! I hope you LOVE it!! One thing I now have different is the water feature… my mom actually found one that stores energy and works at night and has a light. I was going to do a little short video to show that as I love this new one sooo much more as it does light up at night 💙
Your fountain is absolutely lovely!…And I liked how you presented the video. You made this so easy to follow that I think I will try this for my deck, it would be perfect!…Thanks again! ❤
Love the project and I will definitely be making a solar fountain garden planter this summer.Artificial plants look nice, and are a great option, but I will try the challenge of using living plants. 🪴🐦☀
I actually found them at a local store called Old Time Pottery… I have only seen this store here in Florida so I’m not sure if they have them outside of Florida
I tried one of these last year. It worked well except the water splashing would empty my pot too quick. I was constantly having to add water. Your yard is beautiful, and the water fountain turned out lovely. May I ask what state you are in? Thanks for the video. ❤
Thank you so much. I actually was having the same problem when I had an attachment on the fountain so I took them off and now do not have that problem much 👍🏻 Also, I am in Florida
@@susannconnelly7826 drilling holes in the bottom inlets the water escape and not just sit in there. The top one can not have holes so the water can stay inside that one for the water feature. The water goes back inside but does evaporate so you just add more water to the top when that happens 👍🏻
Sedum comes in my varieties . Very pretty and durable plants. Check them out. I don't order on line so, I'm having a hard time finding the solar pumps.
I purchased that on Amazon and linked it in the description box if you wanted to check it out 👍🏻 My mom purchased hers at Walmart but I found it on Amazon with faster delivery
@user-gu7dt7lt4g oh ok 👍🏻 I’m still not sure what a hen and chick plant would be then but that’s ok. I used artificial plants so I did not have to worry about killing them lol

I love those pots. Would you please share where you finally found them? I've been looking for the perfect set for a month now. Thanks!
I actually found them at a local store called Old Time Pottery… I have only seen this store here in Florida so I’m not sure if they have them outside of Florida
@@SheCrafty thank you. We had one in Missouri years ago, but we no longer live there. I loved that store! I'll continue my hunt for the perfect pots.
Where did you get those planters. I love them.
I actually purchased them from a local store here in Florida called Old Time Pottery … I hear they are in a few different states 👍🏻

Very nice! Best one I’ve looked at yet.
You should re upload this video in may !! ❤❤
Unfortunately I can’t reupload it but it will live forever 👍🏻
Why do you need to drill the holes in the bottom planter , and not the top one. Please explain how does the water keep being replenished? Thanks!
@@susannconnelly7826 drilling holes in the bottom inlets the water escape and not just sit in there. The top one can not have holes so the water can stay inside that one for the water feature. The water goes back inside but does evaporate so you just add more water to the top when that happens 👍🏻
You can also use a soldering iron to make the hole in the bottom of tge plastic pot
Ahh I never thought of that one, thanks for the tip 👍🏻
Awesome I love it making for me and a friend thank you for sharing oh I subscribe to your channel Bonnie from Milton Pa..
I hope you both enjoy it once you do make them and I hope you have fun in the process 👍🏻 💙💙
I want to make this. Where did you get your pots? 😊❤

Very nice
Ahh you have a dachshund .

Maybe check Walmart as that’s where my mom purchased hers … I just found it a little cheaper on Amazon 👍🏻
Where do you get the water fixture on top?
I purchased that on Amazon and linked it in the description box if you wanted to check it out 👍🏻

Where did you find the pots??

Will make thus but I will use live plants.
Like ur grass
What height are your pots?
I can only measure the bottom one since the top one is sitting down inside of the larger one … the larger size is 22” tall
Why is dirt needed
It’s not needed unless using real plants … I had it available and so I used it to help fill it
Did use use any real plants and if not could have you used other material instead of potting soil?
I did not use any real plants and yes, you can use what ever materials you would like … I used soil on top as I had it available
Why did you use soil when you uses artificial succulents?
To help weight it down and to help hold the top water pot in place. Don’t know what else I could have used to have a better substitute 🤷🏻♀️
Please just set your camera up instead of moving it so much, ugh, can't watch, too dizzy.
Good luck, anyway
Umm, my phone was on a stand so I can’t do anything different there lol
Good luck back to you 👍🏻
Helens a chicks you will grow in hot sunny area
I’m sorry but do not understand your comment 🤷🏻♀️
@user-gu7dt7lt4g oh ok 👍🏻 I’m still not sure what a hen and chick plant would be then but that’s ok. I used artificial plants so I did not have to worry about killing them lol
