We didn't have this problem, until the government cracked down on all pain medication. People don't start off wanting Fentynal. Just as America had the world's lowest crime rate, and safest streets....before we started the war on drugs. We can either have safe streets, or a drug war. We can't have both.

I’ve lost two friends this year to fentanyl and multiple more in the recent years. This is absolutely disgusting what our leaders are letting happen to our country. Both these friends of mine that passed away were very young, one of them had just turned 21 and the other was 23. Their whole lives were stolen from them because they were trying to medicate themselves because our own government needs to decide what we put in our bodies, so nobody can get the medicine they need. People are hurting out here and nobody should be able to tell you how to treat your pain. It’s your body, your mind, you should decide what you do with it. Trust me I know my friends had made their decisions taking street pills because we all knew the dangers but it shouldn’t even be like this in the first place. We used to always say that people that took street pills are usually suicidal because I don’t know one person doing pills that actually cares if the pill takes their life or not. It’s extremely depressing and hopeless to say the least.
Recreational drug usage in this country is over! It's a gamble with dark disaster if you take street drugs now!

To anyone thinking about moving to Austin (or visiting there) - DON'T. The city has tripled it's population in less than 2 decades, and it is now becoming the drug capital of the United States! Downtown is full of wealthy residents that have their drugs delivered right to their doorsteps. It's the main reason I moved away from that disgusting city a decade ago. My two friends that live there now tell me they are SCARED to go anywhere, especially Zilker Park!
