‘Howl’ is Cornish for ‘Sun’ & this Record is a collection of pieces that I recorded at Home in Cornwall and Dorset between the Winter Solstice of 2020 & Beltane 2023. These pieces of music are a homage to the Sun, the Stars, & explorations of the cycles both within ourselves & throughout the turning wheel of the year.
Has been such a dream working with @weird_walk who have also released a special edition of Howl that you can find on their website & bandcamp! These vinyls will also be available at our show at Moth Club on the 26th 💫
This Album is dedicated to Barbara J Rickman, whose spirit inspired and guided me during the creation of these pieces of music. The Oil Painting on the cover is a piece titled ‘Benow Howl’ (Feminine Sun) and is an ode to one of my favourite painters Hilma af Klint. Featured on the inner sleeve of the record is also two other paintings from this series alongside the lyrics, notes, and special thanks to all the people who helped me bring this music into the world 🤍

What goes around comes around ... but like Steven Wilson's almost single-handed reinvention of progressive rock, however much the music echoes the past, it's always different, just as time shifts along and changes all of us. Just as the sun and moon shift to and fro, and the days go by ... I'm absolutely loving this.

Love instruments you use...maybe miss more whistle and hurdygurdy too.. @@onelove8062 I'm new with Daisy, but really she makes great sounds. ISB is my favorite acid folk band. They so wide, but just untill album "U", maybe one after, because they've pluged up on electric, but I prefer acoustic instruments only, maybe with some electronic efects to make it more pscyhedelic 🙂 Uh, ISB are so so great (with all respect to many others).. Forest, meadows, springtime, flowers and mushrooms 🙂
I own Daisy’s debut album. A superb perfectly cut little gem. As is Howl. I’d love if Daisy would upload “Sunflowers of Your Mind” individually, so I can share the song with many of my friends I’m always trying to turn on to Daisy’s music. The entire album is really gorgeous, but “Sunflowers of Your Mind” is, for me, extra sublime. Thanks in advance for giving us all the gift of your music. Peace ✌🏼
