Chile, it looks like it’s going to be a long year for Oprah because Fantasia and other cast members just went off on her for stealing the money meant for the cast of the ‘Colour Purple’ and allegedly starving them on set.
Now if y’all know Fantasia then you know she likes to stay out of drama and mind her business, so the fact that she still came out to speak on this issue means Oprah really put them through hell on set.
As if things couldn’t get even messy, Taraji and Danielle Brooks also put Oprah on blast for making them drive for hours to set every day without any security and forcing all of them to share the same trailer. Chile wasnt this movie’s budget $100 million? Where did the money go?

I am totally ashamed of Oprah. She has mental issues for not paying the actresses that are working on her movies. She stated years ago that she has to pay the WHITE PRODUCERS for the Oprah Show but she won’t pay the BLACK ACTRESSES? I don’t get it. I would have thought she would have paid them extra because she would have applied the same thought process as she did with her show. I am surprised that the lead actress is only being paid $50,000 for the movie. I am going to boycott this film. Until she starts paying what the actresses deserve she can just go kick rocks. Welcome to life…I’m not a movie star but I worked in finance for years. I worked 12-15 hrs a day. Some people were sleeping at the office just so they didn’t have to spend time on the train going home just to sleep for 2-3 hrs and then having to head back to the office. We weren’t fed by the company nor did we have transportation home. The company would pay for taxi whenever we left after 8 pm. The pay was average but the partners and CEOs got the bigger piece of the pie. It’s unfortunate but it’s like that in every industry. Good on them for speaking up. We’re all slaves to a system where millionaires and billionaires sit at the top and the rest of us are clawing for a tiny piece of the pie 😢.

What happens to also putting the fault on your management /Agent the people they pay to make sure they get all of this when signing a contract. You are supposed to make sure all the underline stuff like a trailer, food, etc...etc is in your contract. That is why you have a management team. Blaming Oprah is one thing putting most of the blame should be on your team. None of them stated any of that stuff was in the contract and just wasn't provided. Bet you Queen Bee and Ri-Ri has all of that added to any contract. Fresh Fruit every day, bottled water and the brand, etc...etc. Fire your management team because they failed you first that's their job. They need to fix that with their team so it doesn't happen again that is what they pay their team for.

Oprah was on the set and why did she not have them in hotels? It is pitch black on those roads in Atlanta. I got lost in Alabama with KKK flags flying everywhere.
The freeways are HELL in Atlanta. Very nerve racking. I visited there a couple years back. If the hotel bus couldn't take us where we wanted to go we didn't go. They are about 12 lanes across and the exits come up very fast. Shame on O for the stupid rental cars. DRIVERS of course. No security for these fine actress' ?? SHAME. Not one production manager brought this up? Waiting on those emails to come out....
