Once again went into flashback of memories of belgaum,karwar,chiplun,kolhapur where he lived...even I was born in belgaum studied at karwar and worked at chiplun...pu la was my all time favorite... We had lesson from his writing while studying at marathi medium in karnatak

I am sorry to ask you but "Nanda Pradhan" and "Natha kamath " are real characters ?
No they are not as far as I know. All characters from "Vyakti and Valli" are real while characters from "Gana-got" are not.

काय तरी येड्यासारखं बोलता! कसलं contemporary .कुठल्या पिढीबद्दल बोलता? जरा ११वी ते १५वी किंवा त्यापुढे ४-५ वर्ष पुढच्या पिढीला भेटून बघा. त्यांनी पु लं नावसुद्धा झालेलं नाही त्याबद्दल आवड वगैरे खूप लांबची गोष्ट. तुम्ही सगळेजण ५०च्या पुढील आहात . शिवाय तुमचं क्षेत्र नाट्य सिनेमा वगैरेंशी संबंधित आहे.तुमचा उदरनिर्वाह त्याच्यावर अवलंबून आहे. तुम्ही तसं म्हणणं ठीक आहे.थोडक्यात काय आता ती पिढी संपत आली. येणारा काळ विचित्र असणार आहे.तुम्हालाही हे सर्व माहीत आहे.पण पुन्हा उदरनिर्वाहासाठी काय? पु लं आस्वाद घेणारे स्वतःचे उदरनिर्वाह इतर मार्गाने करून घेतात. मुळात हे स्वतः वाचन करून आनंद घ्यायचा प्रकार आहे.
