We are in a unique situation. We have our top two centers (atm) locked up for 14 million long term. For context, the Leafs will be paying 13.2 million for Matthews alone. Adams is building us for the long haul with flexibility in mind.
We need leadership. The first thing Tage said at the end of the year was,"There was no accountability." Ruff will help some, but I would really like a Boone Jenner and maybe a Stamkos. A lot of the guys people are talking about are not really any better than what we got. Plus, some need better coaching. Donny Meatballs, while I like him, was horrible for Krebs and really f**ked up his development.
I really don't want to be in salary cap hell like Dubas did to the Leafs, before he started getting any good at his job.

1st thank you for the compliment Secondly I agree Sabres need some veteran leadership in this team that is still very young. Also it's not always about getting "better players" but players that mesh well together and compliment each other

Ehlers is not worth signing. Sorry. Too expensive for the real value. Farabe would be a good add to your team.
So far I have like what rhwu have done with the bottom 6 as they have completely re vamped it. I didn't think their top 6 was bad. I think they are banking on Benson taking another step(might he be a little risky) and Quinn staying healthy. Of those things happen Buffalos top 6 is in decent shape

If Adams is going after Bushnevich see if he can make the deal bigger and get D man Colton Parayko in the deal.He and Power were a very good D pairing for team Canada at last months World Championships. Only down side to Parayko is his contract . I believe its something like 6 more years at 6.5 million and he is 31 yrs old now .
I like Farabee but if Im trading with Philly im going after Morgan Frost who would fit nicely into the 3rd line centre spot.
I like the Samuelsson for Ehlers deal but if Im dealing with Winnipeg id see if they are resigning Sean Monohan , if they are then see if Cole Pereffetti is available. He is a winger but has played some centre and would fit nicely into the third line centre spot. I think Adams will look at trading for a 3rd line centre, and see if a prospect could fill the 3rd line RW spot( Rosen Kulich, Savoie or Whalberg) and sign a UFA winger for the 4th line to go along with Greenway & Krebs.
Cant remember, did you mention Sam Bennett FLA in your first video because he or Boone Jenner, highly unlikely CBJ trades him and Laine this summer but it doesnt hurt to ask , those two would be my first two choices for 3rd line centre. Thanks for the video.

OK that's alot to unpack lol first I only chose guys who I have seen to be rumored on the trading block in both videos. Secondly I think the contract for Parayko would likely be to much for the Sabres to have that much money locked up in just defense. Also I don't think it's 100% Adams trading the 11th overall it's just simply what I am hoping as they Sabres already have a log jam in their system for young talented forwards
Bennett is exactly what we need. He’s got both grit and scoring ability.
He would be the PERFECT 3rd line center for this Buffalo Sabres team.
