There are 3 of these actuators....one on left side just above the gas pedal to the right. The other 2 are on the left side of the glove box shown here and there is also one on the right side of the glove box.
Watching how you take out the actuator is one thing... but when you stop and thinking about the work done to film it - amazing! I've heard how long it takes to film and edit something like this. I'm glad I get to film in wide open spaces instead of someplace so tight. Also... did you notice how the voltage isn't always positive when you probed it? I bet there is a whole process to what the voltage does so that the actuator knows where to go based on what it is sent.
Very observant! It is getting complex. I am trying to get to speed with the latest tech. Filming takes a lot longer than the actual fix for sure. Thanks for stopping by Bill!

Heat on left side vents only and not right side is a very common problem on all these chrysler product from 06-14....it is in fact a half clogged heater core and unless you can flush it out it requires the heater core to be replaced. This is very common.

Hi again Kc Gregg. Hard to say from what your telling me. If fan speeds work, possible that this blend door actuator is faulty. I am pretty sure there is also some module between switches and actuators. Hard to know where to start without being there. Does fan run and at all speeds?
So sorry Cynthia. I thought I had them in there. Here they are: 🔧 1/4" thumb ratchet drive: amzn.to/3w1XT5v OR 1/4" & 3/8" thumb ratchet set: amzn.to/3CIUDgB
Hi! I replaced the part, but now I have a problem. The AC doesn't doesn't blow from the correct vents. Before I replaced the same part as you did, it used to blow from all vents, except the defrost &defrost/feet vents. Any idea what's going on? It also makes like a tight/screeching sound when I turn the AC on and off.
@@cynthiacruz8692 Off hand, not sure. Wonder if blend door is binding? One way for sure to know would be to take actuator out again, and move blend door by hand to all positions. Have some one else feel where air is coming from. If you cant get air to flow from every direction, blend door might have a issue. That is what I would do. Yep a pain to do, but that is what a shop will try too.

We’ve got a 2010 Sebring convertible that is not letting any of the warm air over to the passenger side while the driver’s side is nice and hot. Is this the blend door that would control that operation, or is there another on the driver’s side?

Ok how about drivers side
Does yours have dual climate controls, one for each side?
Worst place to put a part every
I think they plan it like that! LOL! If you watch how they build them, put dash together before it goes in the car, and they build it upside down.
These things are a poor design
They are all the same! Sad.
