Thanks. This is exactly what I needed to see. I have taken off panels with no help before, but sometimes there is a hidden mystery. No hidden mysteries here, but just KNOWING that, helps you take off a door panel with assurance that you can pull hard without breaking something that was missed. . Cheers
You are life saver. Door handle broke and my daughter is driving cross country tomorrow . I couldn’t figure out where to start. Lol 15 minutes later and new door handle!!! Thank you, sir
I am glad it was helpful, @MegaSkills9. It is always good to know where all the fasteners are so you don't break anything by accident. There are a few more videos I did in the Chrysler playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLgeVnQRQkbzClMgLqkk36fHvasHNFghnD
Thanks for the shoutout Uncle Mark!! Sometimes those door panes screws are like a game of hide-and-seek. Manufacturers are pretty creative in hiding them.
Some panels have "hooks" instead of clips that are molded into the door panel. you lift up instead of pulling out. You don't want to break those! Seen it happen, and you hope they can be glued on again.
Thanks for the tutorial. I’m chasing a power mirror problem. Fuse was blown, replaced, but still no power to switch. New to me 2012 200 convertible. I suspect a wire problem inside door. Extremely helpful tutorial. Cheers

There are multiple ways to remove a stripped screw depending on lots of variables. Not sure what to suggest & I don't have a video to point you in the right direction.
That is not something easily explained! I don't have a video removing window on this car. Are you working on a Sebring or Avenger? (Why is the window off track?) All I can guide you with is maybe found in this video I did on our Grand caravan. ruclips.net/video/OcBPU9zrQrw/видео.html
@@unclemarksdiyauto i’m working on a chrysler 200 2011 and i’m unsure how the window got off track unfortunately but it’s stuck down(i’m able to move it up with my hands but it won’t stay)
@@rvqzi Glass also should sit in something on the bottom. or their are plastic clips that snap into the glass to hold it in place. A suggestion would be to have another person hold the glass up, and you try to run the window up & down to see if the mechanism is actually doing anything or not! It may have broke and is sitting and unable to hold the glass in place.
@@unclemarksdiyauto i tried that before and when i did i was able to hear the mechanisms going up and down just it isn’t moving the glass with it so i assumed that the glass had fallen out of place
Even one side of the mechanism could be broken. You may have to just remove everything to see how it works, and put it back together. I still think something is broken. It could be as small as a clip on the mechanism. (Can't replace the clip, its part of the whole unit.) NOTE: you could get into more trouble if you try this.

Excellent video! Was at the salvage yard yesterday and didn’t want to rip the door panel off. Probably go back today haha. Thank you Sir!
Your welcome! Each vehicle has some special trick to it. Hope the removal and installation goes well! Let us know how it went.
Extremely helpful. What's funny is that my wife also owns a 2008 Grand Caravan and I broke the crap put of those door pins taking them out as well! 😅😅
It is like they are not made to remove without breaking.
Great video! Thanks for a very concise and easy to follow project. take care
Thank you for your comment Mac. Hope the video is of help to some. You take care as well.

Maybe get be a wire in door jamb where wires flex!
It probably is this issue. Broken wire. Check before you buy a switch. ruclips.net/user/shorts2qzCrIssakQ
Well apparently he missed something there was one more screw on the door handle itself on the bottom

Gonna try it. Thx!
If you break clips, you can always leave panel off until you get new ones.
Thanks uncle Mark that helps but my 06 has 3 door screws and 1 is stripped out what can I do

What is the little square cover for the screw called?? I need the square piece that’s in the door handle
Good question. I do not know, but I bet no one sells a new one. Probably a auto wrecker part.
hey uncle mark if i’m trying to put a window back on track what would i do after removing the door panel?
