My literal first thought as I was climbing out of bed this morning was I hope Cole drops a new video, I want to see how his project turned out. You didn’t disappoint, a slappy on steroids! If this is arts and crafts in your world sign me up.
I just love the care you guys show for your live stock and for your farm, love watching this channel. I don't comment a lot on any channel but I do sometimes. I watch and like every video because I just love your guys farm and the awesome attitude and love you guys have for your farm. Thank You for all you do. God Bless!
Watch 33 farmers from Kansas to Canada (retired/morning routine before sunrise), and yes you are one of my favorites! The quality of your video production is probably the best, and yes you and your father are dam good farmers!
You guys have made a ton of improvements to the farm. I don't know how your dad managed to do all the work before his kids were old enough to help out. I don't know why your don't have more subscribers. Always interesting videos with some humor.
Cole yesterday I pulled up your channel & I had been unsubscribed. Might want to mention to subscribers to check, seems AI is messing with a lot of accounts. I love your channel & the relationship you have with your dad. Mine passed when he was 60, I was 21 & I’m 73 now, I miss him terribly & all I could have learned from him. I pray you are blessed with many years ahead with your entire family. Thank you for sharing! God bless!
I can’t wait to watch the bunker sweeper work. I wouldn’t want to stand within 100 feet of it while it’s running though. I have the same feeling about using a chain to lift heavy stuff or pull a vehicle with one. Show what the bunker sweeper can do Cole. Two hours of push in’ broom buys an eight by twelve four bit room. I’ma man of means by no means by no means, king of the road. It was -6 here in Cherokee County at 5:00a.m. It’s been really chilly here for about five days. Stay warm. Thanks for sharing. And thanks for feeding folks. Pray for our farmers and all those who have to work out in this cold weather. And for our homeless citizens. Storla Station
Well Cole, if your bunk cleaner doesn’t pan out, you just made the first leaf blower for a Bobcat, and like pops said…a fan🤣y’all stay safe and God Bless🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
When I was growing up on the farm we used the manure spreader on the county road to get up the hill from farm in winter so we could go to town. Yeah do that today some crazy people will have a fit. Hey but it worked! Have a good day!
You guys do a great job, especially for just a two man operation. It’s like your dad said one time, “it’s not one big thing that makes the cattle business better, it’s a whole lot of little things “. Y’all take care of the little things as well as the big things and run a tight ship. 👍🏻
Use a pallet, cement block, or 2 wire blocks on pallet, drag with 4 wheeler just before freeze up. Nice n smooth when froze!! Used to cruise around hrs or two after supper
Very impressive that you can make these things for yourself, really enjoy seeing them come together. Hope the sweeper proves as successful as the wire winder.
That ain't no DQ Blizzard! 😝 My favorite part was when Ellie was peeking in through the door after you shut down the new bunk cleaner like, "Is it safe to come back in?" 😅😅
"I smoke old stogies I have found. Short, but not too big around. I'm a man of means by no means. King of the road." I had an uncle who died 20 odd years ago. This was his favorite song. He sang it all the time. When us cousins were little, you had to be 8 to join the summer camp trip, or the fall deer and duck hunt. we'd hike miles up in the cascades, we'd climb just shy of the snowline, August still had snowdrifts at the elevations of the lakes we fished so we'd hike in several dozen eggs, Chilli fixins, hamburger, beans, flour, oil and store it in the snow. We had sleeping bags, three shirts, two pairs of pants and a pair of sneakers incase our boots got wet. a tarp and line for a large shelter, we never used tents, we hiked in fishing gear and camped for two weeks. And every morning as he's cooking on the fire we'd hear him softly singing "trailers for sale or rent....." by the time I joined the army and reached my first infantry unit I knew more about living in the field than most of the men in my units and some mornings as we're brewing up coffee while we wait for rations to be delivered by Topkick, I'd find myself singing softly "two hours of pushin' broom Buys an eight by twelve four-bit room I'm a man of means by no means..." Thank you uncle Dave, you never once told us you loved us but actions speak louder than words and when dad died you didn't hesitate you stepped up and continued teaching where he stopped and kicked my ass when I needed it. Rest in peace you old cuss.
Spreader accidents ,left hydraulic floor chain in gear one time on county road one time beaters off but a little mess. AMEN SIR cattle look healthy !!! Thanks men!!!
Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting. You finished your project and it looks great. Wow, does it spin fast. Super fast as a matter of fact. I agree with you and your dad. The bunk cleaners is fine but could be heavier materials. Great job Cole. Anxious to see it work. Nice work. Appreciate the fact you cleaned your feeding areas for your cows. You and your dad are excellent herdsmen. You take good care of your cows. Not as hard and lumpy now. Sure glad you got that payloader. It works great for cleaning the bunk areas. Anxious to see the bunk cleaner work. Thanks for everything Cole. You and dad take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Brian, I bet you are trying to stay warm with your below zero temps and wind chills/ Cole looks like you hit the nail on the head, can't wait to see it in action. Much love to you both for going that extra step to keep all the cows/bulls safe and healthy. Many prayers to both of your families.🐄
Always taking care of the cows. Thank you for caring about your animals. I never thought about irrigating with a manure spreader and snow. I have neither in Alabama.
Great video, nice job on the bunk sweeper!…if you think that turns too fast you can put a 1/4 turn hydraulic valve down towards motor to have more control of flow
it is -12 and sun shinning here in southern iowa this morning so i thought i would let it warm up a little bit before i go feed cows so i am enjoying your video early
I like your bunker sweeper, did a great job on it. Brian, King of the Road by Roger Miller is a great choice for song of the day! The lot with all the frozen hoof indention's is the pits, like you said, so difficult to walk on you could break an ankle. Take care, be safe, thanks for the video and I hope you have a nice weekend!
I remember when you got the wheel Loader and thinking what a game changer (horribly overused expression) the machine would be in winter. Well, turned out it is. Maybe the bunk sweeper will be too. Much respect for your creative skills.
Are you going to put hyd hose support bracket on your bunk sweeper? You did a great job on that as always. Who needs a vice when you have a Brian!! 🤔🚜🍻🐮
Roger Miller was quite the song writer. I still wonder about how he enjoyed "roller skating in a a Buffalo Herd". Your project turned out impressively. You even gave some recommendations how you improve it. . . . Yes, your videos always help the week go by, especially these cold winter days. Thank you.
Thanks for that down to earth explanation about the process. That you care at an 'earthing' level is righteous. The way the system is set narrows your choices quite a bit. Great vid!
I was sure the sweeper axle was going to self destruct! :) happy so see if work perfectly. You're a very good at design and fabrication, you could start a prototype shop and innovate farm tools. >>>water jet cutter. >@dgelbart
We all make mistakes. Once I was spreading urea on my hay fields & pulled out on the road & got a phone call. After driving on road for about half a mile I turned around & saw my pto lever vibrated to on position & I top dressed the neighbors corn fields on either side of the road. You could see about 3 weeks later right to the foot where pto kicked on where I bounced on a culvert depression under the paved road.
Cole, you do beat all. Amazing work on that bunk sweeper. Thanks so much for documenting your work for us. And we appreciate it that you really do care for your animals. They survive winter and summer.
You might consider a flex chain coupler instead of the straight coupler between the motor and the shaft. It'll allow for more misalignment and should save your hydraulic motor from the bent shaft.
Project looks really good Cole you could put some hydraulic flow controls on to help control the speed love the song of the day Brian thanks for taking us along guys
Brian, I played WALKING IN THE SUNSHINE for my Mom this morning, as we watched the fog burn off! (I love all his songs!)---Cole, you're a handy fella to have around.---And, doncha know that Uff Da happens?
Alan I just remembered when out walking this afternoon that there was a group where I come from in Ireland, quite a few years ago & their name was *Knotty Pine* weird!!
My favorite RUclips channel is Sonne farms 😂❤
My literal first thought as I was climbing out of bed this morning was I hope Cole drops a new video, I want to see how his project turned out. You didn’t disappoint, a slappy on steroids! If this is arts and crafts in your world sign me up.

My Rib Eye, New York, and T-Bone taste better after watching a Winter Sonne Farms video.

I just love the care you guys show for your live stock and for your farm, love watching this channel. I don't comment a lot on any channel but I do sometimes. Wow, thank you!
Spreading manure on a perfectly nice roadway is funny as hell! Good for you, sharing your gaffes!
You guys have made a ton of improvements to the farm. I don't know how your dad managed to do all the work before his kids were old enough to help out. I don't know why your don't have more subscribers. Always interesting videos with some humor.
It'll be interesting to see what Cole comes up with next. He's definitely not afraid to tackle new things.
Awesome video Cole. 🚜🚜🚜

Everyone loves Sonne Farms!!! You all are amazing!! Down here in Waco,Texas it's 22 degrees!! Let me tell you 'll it is cool!!
I can’t wait to watch the bunker sweeper work. I wouldn’t want to stand within 100 feet of it while it’s running though. I have the same feeling about using a chain to lift heavy stuff or pull a vehicle with one. Show what the bunker sweeper can do Cole.

Cole and Dad Brian thank you for sharing everything.Keep warm.God bless you all.
Sending PRAYERS if Saftey during this cold snap...

Well Cole, if your bunk cleaner doesn’t pan out, you just made the first leaf blower for a Bobcat, and like pops said…a fan🤣y’all stay safe and God Bless🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Looks like Ellie has on her winter coat. Brrrrr!
Stay warm ya'll. May God bless you and protect you as you work outdoors in these frigid temps.
As a matter of fact Cole, Sonne Farms is my favorite U tube channel 😂
Great job scrapping the corrals Cole
Who needs a vice when you have a Brian!!
Your correct Cole, Sonne Farms is my favorite YT channel and I don’t miss a video. Keep them coming.
When I was growing up on the farm we used the manure spreader on the county road to get up the hill from farm in winter so we could go to town. Yeah do that today some crazy people will have a fit. Hey but it worked! Have a good day!
It’s a winter wonderland now for you and ice skating rink . Always something when your farming . 😊
As always , I love watching your videos. No matter what you are doing. My favorite part to every video is seeing you petting Allie. 🥰
Who needs a vise when you’ve got a Brian.😂
After years of watching this channel I will say that my favorite content is the box scraping.
You guys do a great job, especially for just a two man operation. It’s like your dad said one time, “it’s not one big thing that makes the cattle business better, it’s a whole lot of little things “. Y’all take care of the little things as well as the big things and run a tight ship. 👍🏻
Mr. Sonne, I love your song of the day!! I used to sit with my Dad and listen to his music, and this was one his favorite songs! ❤😊
Great Memory!
Hey a mechanical slappy, lol, that would get the cattles moving for sure, good job Cole.
Well, I have three favorite channels, Cole, Sonne Farms, Grind Hard Plumbing Co, and Fab Fats
Ill have to check the other two out! thanks!
Use a pallet, cement block, or 2 wire blocks on pallet, drag with 4 wheeler just before freeze up. Nice n smooth when froze!! Used to cruise around hrs or two after supper
Cole your a fine young man , your dad and mom must be very proud of you 😊
A man who claims to never make mistakes. Is a man who doesn't do anything !! Great job gentlemen !!!
Very impressive that you can make these things for yourself, really enjoy seeing them come together. Hope the sweeper proves as successful as the wire winder.
That ain't no DQ Blizzard! 😝
My favorite part was when Ellie was peeking in through the door after you shut down the new bunk cleaner like, "Is it safe to come back in?" 😅😅

Can’t wait to see the “Sonne Sweep” work! Thanks for another great video! You take great care of your critters!
So gotta say it, who needs a vice when u got a Brian😀😀 keep up the great work
You take wonderful care of the cattle from what I've seen watching over time.
Brian for the win once again with his classic song of the day! Just keep ‘em coming Brian ❤❤❤
Nice to see how much you care for the animals on the farm .God bless # stay warm
Anxious to see the bunk sweeper in action.Said it before and will say it again, you two take such good care of your animals.
You save one beefer or Farmer a broken leg or equipment a busted axle you can scrape them lots quite a bit and that worked pretty cool ! NICE
I farmed and ranched with my dad for years. Watching yall brings back a lot of good memories of working with him.
Never have I seen you work so 😂seriously with your equipment. Thank you good job.

Thanks for everything Cole. You and dad take care and be safe.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Nice job on the sweeper, could always make the shaft longer and add a 3rd beg and add some fleet metal to extend it Cole, nice job!
ROOMS FOR FIFTEEN CENTS. Love the song Brian. God Bless
Cole ... That confession about the manure spread on the road .... all I can say is, I love you guys! 😁
Hay Brian, that is one of my favorite songs. Stay warm
That front end loader was I think one of your best purchases!
I used to hate cleaning feed lot. I guess you do what you have to. I appreciate the care you give your cattle. Take Care and Be safe on the farm. Out
Always taking care of the cows. Thank you for caring about your animals. I never thought about irrigating with a manure spreader and snow. I have neither in Alabama.
I really love watching you playing with Ellie, she is the best. The bunk sweeper looks really good, can hardly wait to see it in action.
King of the road. Roger Miller. Great project
“Thousands of people have finally ended their struggle……” lol! 😂
Great video, nice job on the bunk sweeper!…if you think that turns too fast you can put a 1/4 turn hydraulic valve down towards motor to have more control of flow

Yes, my favorite RUclips channel is Sonne Farms! 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
I love the songs of the day. Some of them, I had forgotten all about.
Thanks.
The admission of drunken mistakes is just one of the many reasons why Sonne Farms is the best You Tube program on.
Farmers and ranchers know how to do things. They are truly educated.
Like a giant slappy for the feed bunks 😅
I remember when you got the wheel Loader and thinking what a game changer (horribly overused expression) the machine would be in winter. Well, turned out it is. Maybe the bunk sweeper will be too. Much respect for your creative skills.
Love watching you and your dad cutting up having fun working I try to have the same relationship with my boy just turned 18
Love Roger Miller.... Chug-a-lug is a favorite of mine. Cole, you are a master fabricator. That would be great for cleaning mangers in the barn too.
Great video Cole and Brian
From paper to reality, the bunk sweeper is alive! Pretty fancy, a genuine Sonne Farms original! Thank you so much for the video:) (14:16) I hear you.
Are you going to put hyd hose support bracket on your bunk sweeper? You did a great job on that as always. Who needs a vice when you have a Brian!! 🤔🚜🍻🐮
Great job Cole and Brian
I love watching you create things for the farm. ❤❤
Stay warm guys, severe wheather you have in the northern part is what we see ,thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer

How about, "Roller Skatin' in a Sonne Farm's Herd"?
@@russelltate3703 Nice!
Cole can be happy if he gets a mind to it. Buckle down, buckle down. Do it do it!
I saw Roger Miller at our county fair. He sang, King of the Road. It’s a great song.
Congratulations to the thousands who overcame toe fungus. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

A 3rd bearing would help with any vibration and stiffen the bar
I cannot wait to see how the bunk cleaner works!

The project came out great! Good job on the feed lots, and as a cattle farmer, you go above and beyond for your cows.
I heard two of the cows talking and one of them said, I sure like it when Daddy comes out to clean the floor.
Yup definitely my favorite RUclips channel. Shop project is gonna be badass. Way to keep lots in good shape. Happy cattle=better gains and health
Keep em coming! It’s like I know y’all!
