Set before New Hope on a far away forest planet called Fedje, where a small team of rebels, led by one of the surviving Jedi, found an ancient abandoned Jedi Temple in one of the not inhabited areas of the planet.
Unfortunately for them, soon after they arrive in the Temple, Emperor's Sith Assassin - Starkiller (This film goes more with the Force Unleashed DLC story rather than the new canon, so there is no Inquisitorius etc. and Starkiller isn't a secret apprentice anymore, but a known Sith in the Empire), arrives with an Imperial fleet to kill the Jedi and Rebels and to make sure that all the forgotten knowledge and findings that can be located in the Temple, will go straight to the Emperor...

QUICK DISCLAIMER:
This is all that there is, there's no full film coming out.
The reason I called it a 'teaser' is because I thought it would be a small funny thing to change it from the usual 'A Star Wars Story' to 'A Star Wars Teaser' as it's only long enough to 'tease' you with the potential of what a full film about Starkiller could be.
That said, who knows... If I find the time, I definitely would love to make a proper short-film about Starkiller, but I'd need help of Voice Actors, 3D Artists etc. and I'd definitely need that Rokoko suit :'D

What I love about his respirator when compared to Vader's is that Vader sounds like he's softly snoring and Starkiller's sounds like a *mechanical scream* . The screeching is unnerving to say the least. Well done!
And I bet we don't wanna hear both of these sounds in our house

I always loved that dark lords armor for Starkiller. It’s probably my personal favorite Sith Lord design.

Yeah it's just so different than other Sith armors. Really memorable.
This perfectly captures Starkiller in his sith form. He has overwhelming power but the pure presence, sight, and sound of him just freezes his enemies in place. Absolutely amazing job, looking forward to your future work.
Damn even the Jedi was scared. You can see his light saber shaking slightly as Starkiller finishes off the 3rd rebel "red shirt" 2:07

@@wanyekest6969 also nothing he did in this short film was that insane or silly. Darth Maul could do the same. I mean we see him turn off the x wing which we don’t often see, but lore wise theoretically many powerful force users could do it if given the right opportunity and time.

Yeah, it almost sounds like he’s saying things! I wonder if they took samples of short words being said, and slowed them down to make that sound effect? It’s really sinister!

@@NineWorldsFromDrew Naw they just took the same breathing effect he had in Force Unleashed and enhanced it a touch. He's not Darth Nihilus.
yeah they're kinda similar. but Vader seems to have difficulties breathing in, while starkiller has difficulties for breathing out.

this is amazing shows the difference between him and his master. Vader is an all imposing force of nature, all you can do is run and hope he dose not catch you. While Starkiller is an apex predator you can run and fight all you want but he will always get his prey.

Nah he's too powerful for canon. But that doesn't mean that he should be left in the dust.
There's nothing wrong with digging into legends material. There's so much potential for shows, games, comics etc. Completely centered around legends. You can go crazy creatively, cuz it won't influence the Canon timeline anyway.
The force unleashed community needs that
A non-canon live action movie would be good too.

This version of Starkiller reminds me of the Winter Soldier when he was a brainwashed assassin for HYDRA.
Difference is Winter Soldier had no conscience control of what he was doing, Starkiller is doing what he does somewhat willingly, because he at this point lost everything, everyone he cared about, even most of his body, and all he has is the hatred he now drowns himself in, as well as serving his new master, the Emperor. I don't know which is sadder, honestly.
In compete honesty Lord Starkiller here is absolutely terrifying. I would be more scared to run into him than Darth Vader. Fantasticly done!!! You should do another short where he faces off against a recovered Mace Windu. Lol

Vader toys with his prey. Starkiller does not. I don't know which to be scared of more.
vader is a boring slow moving force tank. u know he will kill u, but its not as terrifying as getting literally hunted and savagely massacred like a prey by starkiller

Too bad he never was a canon Star Wars character (following Lucas own statement about both games) because devs crossed far too many lines when they created him and the game lore to even remotely declare it a canon story...

You could have added recoil to the blasters but all in all this is INCREDIBLE!
yeah, there's quite a few things I wanted to definitely do, like recoil and also have that rebel chick actually kind of run backwards as she's shooting rather than just standing there and waiting for death etc, but I've ran out of time, I was pretty much working on this only during weekends as I was too busy with my full time job and other stuff.
I was also planning on having Starkiller actually fight and kill the Jedi but it was quite obvious early on in making this that there's no way I could do all of that before the deadline

Why would blasters have recoil? Yes, the weapons used in A New Hope was based on modified WW II weapons afaik, but that does not mean that recoil should be a thing with laser or plasma based weapons, just because the weapons used when making the movies might have had some.
Wish I knew where the recoil idea in SW came from, as it does not appear to be any recoil to speak of shown on the silver screen.
@@haraldlorentzen40 Recoil in Star Wars has always existed (if you watched the movies and tv series). Take the Droideka as an example in The Phantom Menace film, their arms are being forced back by the energy of the projectile. They need to reset after every shot. Weapons in Star Wars are “blasters” and not true lasers, also how they fire bolts of energy rather than a steady stream of light. Later material stated that this was compressed gas that was ignited and projected with explosive force (Tibanna Gas), in which case some recoil might make sense. Overall, Star Wars is not hard science fiction and it's always considered a Space Fantasy (Sci-Fantasy).

This TOTALLY blew me away. Very cinematically done. Sound design was on point. Video was suggestive of a narrative without being too in your face with it. So well done!

This was pretty awesome, that Sith design for Starkiller was definitely one the things I did like about Force Unleashed. Very well done, I liked that serial killer moment in the cave taking them out one after another and effective use with the shadows. Awesome!

Absolutely amazing! When those star destroyers entered the atmosphere it was so cool and so was the way starkiller moved, it was smooth and realist! And the light effect were simply perfect.

The final scene of Starkiller turning to the camera before dashing toward the Jedi reminds me of the SAW movies- specifically, when the individual who holds the mantle of "Jigsaw" dons the pig mask and jumps at the victim, with the sound of a squealing pig. I don't know if that's what you were going for, but it was unnerving as hell and absolutely well done!

Very amazing animation and the details were spot on!
Just discovered this film yesterday. I loved it all, but three highlights:
1. The X-Wing getting shut off by Starkiller. WOW, that's an original concept! Would love to see this happen in an official Lucasfilm project.
2. The TIE Fighter crashing into the cave entrance. Visually impressive, love how Starkiller expertly crashes to create an atmosphere in which he can better stalk his prey.
3. The shot of him walking past the rebels in the dark. I was both TERRIFIED and LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY when I saw that! Exactly what this version of the character would do to toy with them. Plus, i was just thinking, "Well, you're screwed!" the entire time.
Great work, would love to see a longer version someday. :)

This technology is perfect for Star Wars movies. It's the best way to showcase the acrobatics and feature aliens that don't just look like humans in prosthetics. An R-rated Darth Bane or Darth Malgus movie would be perfect.

Despite it just being 2 minutes, I loved every single second of it. I think my favorite thing about starkiller is the fact that he brought down an entire cruiser using just the force.

Sadly if they ever bring Starkiller back into canon we won't see Sith Cyborg Starkiller, given he's from a timeline where Vader dies and Sidious makes Cyborg Starkiller his slave, rather he'd probably just be Vader's secret apprentice who either turns to the light and dies or is exiled, or maybe just stays evil but is exiled or something and becomes a villain in a later series. Maybe they might make anouther character some freaky dark side Cyborg assassin at some point shortly after Revenge of the Sith(maybe while Vader is still getting used to his cybernetics and in the process of making a new lightsaber, as well as when the Empire is still recruiting and training inquisitiors, the Emperor might get someone stronger in the force than the acceptable amount for an inquisitior, but not to the point were they could be a realistic candidate for a true Sith, as somewhat of a placeholder to hunt down Jedi and Rebels until more proper inquisitiors could be deployed).

That was the most terrifying sith I've ever seen in the SW universe. Like others have commented, the breathing was an excellent addition. Similar to Vader but far more menacing. Well Done!
Insane, the different character evolutions of starkiller is awesome, by far my favourite Star Wars story (even knowing I was names after like skywalker) the chilling nature of his breath to him literally freezing his prey by fear alone! I’d definitely would love to see a full short!! Even if it didn’t dive into his past but on who he is now, or what people know or not about him.

Well don Shain! I have yet to see an CGI animated Star Wars Fan Film that I truly liked. But this is very good, even though a “teaser trailer”. You totally captured Starkiller’s Sith self with the helmet and the long tunic, and that red bladed lightsaber, which looks amazing in the dark space he was in. The other people look to be Rebel’s and a Jedi who has his own lightsaber as well! Amazing work despite no real plot and no dialog.I would definitely watch an actual fan film of this!

Damn good work man, seriously the amount of talented artists I'm seeing using UE4/5 to make short films/teasers is just incredible. I don't know how you have the patience for such a project but these big AAA Game studios need to hire the lot of RUclips artists pretty much right now if they haven't already.
