    Been playing mine for about a year. Love them. People love to look at them but are afraid of blades. The constant comments are blades are hard to hit. Nope, not these but when you hit these pure you will work to get the results you want. The feel is unmatched. Don't be shy if you're curious. See it, like it, try it, love it, buy it. .

      Clubs doesn't do much more than feel for players on his level. Companies are selling 'tech' but Rick would probably play just as good with a set of 20 year old irons. Good example is Henrik Stenson who played his 2011 Callaway Diablo 3-wood until this year lol

  • @Klimmerish

    Can you do the srixon irons? I think they’re the most underrated irons on the market

  • @gregwalker4236
    @gregwalker4236 6 лет назад +4

    truly beautiful irons. make mine with 6.0 rifles. if you're in love with the look, dive in fellow duffers--this is the way golf used to be and hitting one nicely is so satisfying. if you can take a nice divot by hitting the ball first (and you have decent fairways) you surely will appreciate a fine set of blades. when the course is a bit scruffy and there's no turf, i'll pull out something a bit more modern, but if your course is in great shape, play the blades and enjoy a little history....

    found a used combo set of these and the P770s. P770 is 3i-6i and then P730 7i-PW. I love them. Hit my first Hole in One with the 8i on a 160 yard hole. They will be in my bag until the wear spot works through the club, or until I am 60 years old. 36 right now

    Thanks for the review Rick. I don't mind the font of the 4-iron, but agree with you on the PW. Very annoying that the P on the bottom of the club is a different font than TM used for the P in the model designation at the back of the club. Love you're idea of a P-760, wish they would make them.

    lots of ppl complain about Rick's bias towards big companies. I tell u what, that was the best Rick has ever hit it in a test, no club has ever outperformed those irons yet his review is not even biased towards Taylormade. That's easily the best I've ever seen Rick hit it in any video. period. So Rick, do urself a favour, put those clubs in the bag and ignore the font(which is not that bad).

    Couldnt agree more with what you said Rick, playing with proper blades (butter knives 😂) it forces you to focus more, swing smoother and find the middle of the face, got my mp4's a year ago playing off 9, now im off 4, you dont have to be a truly excpetional ball striker to swing them, but they do make people much better ball strikers.

    Super shots, Rick! How do these compare to your current irons? (I forget which they are). I think the other gentleman is correct - seems like 7 sets. How easy would it be too make up a mixed set with say, 730s (I think I could use them down to 7 iron, maybe 6), but might need some help with the 5 and below. I find there's no shame in that. Last weekend I officiated at the Macau Open and had a chance to see lots of tour pros' bags. There were quite a lot of players with mixed sets!
