Your tutorial is awesome! I have looked at over 20 videos and spent almost 2 hours trying to find a video that shows how to implement transitions with images and finally found yours. The others only show the transitions, not how to actually set them up with images/video. Great job! Keep the tutorials coming!
I had that problem! Go to the layer you want to animate click the right arow to expand. Then click on the resize or whatever you want to animate and click on the white clock on the left. It will turn blue and will add keyframes to your timeline.
In some very basic apps, you can just shift click between clips, right click and add a transition. In AE it eludes me. So basic. Bottom line is: in the real world you wil get approximately 20k amends to your V1 video, so moving all those key frames each time???
Thanks. I'm a novice navigating my way around AE. This was clear and easy to follow.
Thank you man! Appreciate the help, been looking for a video like this for a while!

Nice, quick solution to Adobe's strange lack of crossfade in AE -copy-pastable throughout compositions - I just used the same fader about 30 times.
