- Welcome back to Episode 11, this week we explore the Bundaberg region, we stay at a beautiful donation camp just outside of Gin Gin called Sandy’s Meadow. A special thanks to Phil and Sandy the camp hosts for a great stay and the FREE FIREWOOD.
We use the camp at Gin Gin as our base to explore the Bundaberg region, we visit the Famous BUNDABERG RUM DISTILLERY, do a tour of the BUNDABERG BARREL home of Bundaberg GINGER BEER and take a walk around the Main Street.
We then head out to Mount Perry a gold mining town about 100km west of Gin Gin, take a drive through an unusual abandoned RAILWAY TUNNEL before having lunch with a LEOPARD!
We head on to ROCKHAMPTON and hit up a free camp in the centre of town and do a lap of the STUNNING NURIM CIRCUIT on top of MT ARCHER, where we discover the best view of the town from an AMAZING SKYWALK.
So come and join us on this weeks adventure as we continue our BIG LAP of AUSTRALIA.

Can second that, we live in Bundy and often go and camp at the lake 👍

Hey guys, it's pronounced BORE-OR-EN. Cheers
Thank you, I really struggle pronouncing the name some towns. Sometimes I ask the locals how to say it 🤓
Do you know whether Sandy's Meadow is still available? I couldn't find it on Wiki camps. Thanks
Hey mate I checked and couldn’t see it there either. The hosts worked in the information centre at Gin Gin perhaps you could give them a call
