I'm perfectly fine with someone like Optimus being armed with nuclear capabilities it's the same idea as a gun, it's the person that uses it that decides its tactical effectiveness and when it needs to be used, Optimus Prime is possibly one of the best candidates to have nuclear capabilities. I mean you wouldn't want Megatron to be in possession of a nuke would you?
Then again the idea of Megatron scanning a Missile Vehicle. Having no idea what a nuke is or being appalled by the concept. Then just turning it into a big gun instead. Sounds hilarious. “Those Barbaric Humans Developed WHAT!?”
I think its the worst idea because literally everyone within his blast radius is being held hostage. So megatron can just attack a densely populated area.
I can see Optimus having this form in like a post-apocalyptic type setting. Like the world is destroyed, most of the autobots are dead, and Megatrons forces scour what’s left of the planet earth in search of Optimus Prime. All the while he’s preparing for all out combat.
In the original series, the transformers all had different forms when they landed on Cybertron. I'd like to think THIS is what Optimus Prime looks like when there! Something tells me even Shockwave wouldn't have a chance against him...

It’s just like ultra Magnus. He has a base truck mode that all of his armor and weapons can attach to to make his truck mode bigger. The smaller truck mode was not shown off on the video. It is more reminiscent of a regular Optimus at that point.

The Decepticons ultimately won the war, but it's not enough to simply RULE OVER their fallen Autobot enemies; they have to be reprogrammed and rebuilt into Decepticons themselves!
Difficulty level- 10/10 Literally the most intricate transforming toy I’ve ever seen. My kids would lose the pieces, and we’d forget how to put it back together in the first week.
The issue with having the missile transform is that if the missile is capable of that then it's no longer a nuclear missile and only something that looks like one. Cool model, just a tiny problem if you stop your suspension of disbelief.
Not exactly since based on established lore Transformers functionally become whatever they transform into thus a transformer that disguises itself as a missile would be a functional missile. Now how they could be used as a missile and survive is another matter, unless the missile component doesn't contain the consciences/spark of the transformer.
@@mpsorrentino That effectively gives the Transfomers power equal to Molecule Man pre-Secret War as it allows them to transform the laws of physics. They're already dangerously close to the edge of the suspension of disbelief by ignoring the conservation of mass.

This is how G1 Megatron and Soundwave could transform into a pistol and cassette player respectively, it's also why Bubblebee, Optimus Prime and the others have no visible wheels, seats, or any other internals from their vehicle modes in their robot mode. However, it does come with caveats most noticeable in G1 Megatron he rarely stayed in his pistol mode for long as he couldn't contain that much energy for extended periods of time, however, his blasts when fired as a pistol by Soundwave, Starscream, or on a few occasions Optimus were that much more powerful than when in robot mode, it did however drain a lot of energy requiring him to recuperate for an unknown length of time unless he had immediate access to energon. Speaking of which they can also convert various forms of earth energy into energon, such as gasoline or jet fuel which they can use while in vehicle form but change into energon for robot mode.
