I generally hate it when transformers have a bunch of pieces you have to pull off in order to transform them. I think that ALL the pieces should transform with the main figure. The exception to that is seen here, where the pieces you pull off become cool accessories and/or power armor. Power armor is especially cool.
Gotta love how, when the designers were going for the "all out / buffed out" version they said "Ya know what? Eff it, we're going with the obvious and giving him a bigger codpiece!"
As much as some people would argue TFC Toys overused this mold, it was overused with a purpose. The just kept making more and improving things each time and tried something new! Eventually, I feel like they're going rerelease the original at some point with all these upgrades to get the definitive version of this!
