One of the joys of my week is knowing I will take a quick trip to Paris every Saturday while watching Colleen and Antoine in the "moveable feast" of Paris 🇲🇫❤Merci
2012 1st trip for my wife and I to Paris (I had been in 1979!) At the Jardin de la Tour Eiffel at the tower, with no one around. A couple from the US asked my wife to take a picture of them in front of the tower, which she did. He promptly dropped to one knee and proposed! They got some great shots from my wife, it was her birthday as well so the day was amazing. Keep the great info coming, should be back in Paris after the Olympics.
My son is in Normandy right now in preparation for military memorial services and I’m sending him a shopping list from your videos. Thank you so much!!!!
Love your channel. Please have Colleen do a "Shopping with Colleen" video, featuring the Breton shirts she wears all the time. I'm on the serious hunt for that type of top.
Aw...so sweet! Congrats to Olivia and George ❤...everyone should get married in Paris. Full face front with big wide grins...perfect photo 📸. As always..thank you for another wonderful day in Paris!
I've just sent my friend word that Olive & Fig in Toronto is where she needs to go on her next trip there. Thanks for a nice video. I have to say that watching your videos help me take a breath and enjoy the remainder of the day.
Congratulation Olivia and George! Colleen and Antoine, we appreciate another fantastic video and thank you for all of the information you share on RUclips. Parfait!!!
Omg...you guys picked some GORGEOUS locations for taking pictures. Gosh darn it I'm so glad I follow you guys! I want a tour with you when I come to Paris. You guys know Paris like the back of your hands!!
I always love you guys! I so miss Paris after going so any times, sadly, I cried through most of this video…so many memories and with you I can re-live many favorite places… you also surprise me with new ones…alas, my 78 year old feet can no longer do all of the walking needed to fully explore this wonderful place…love your precious kisses in special places!
The Victor Hugo museum is my favourite thing in the Place des Vosges; it features his excellent drawings and paintings (for which he is less known than for his novels and plays, but he was very talented in visual arts also).
Great video with Les Frenchies and great company: Olivia and George who make a beautiful couple. Olivia looks a lot like Emily in Paris. She is a knockout. Excellent video.
Hello Colleen and Antoine ! My daughter and I just got back from a week's trip to Paris. Your videos and tips made our trip memorable and fantastic! Everything worked like a dream! Thank you so much!
Congratulations to Olivia & George & thank you Colleen & Antoine for this fun video! My Parisian Portrait was taken last October alongside the Alexander III Bridge (Petite Palais side) with the Eiffel Tower in the distance; it was the perfect spot that day. On my next trip, I’ll give some of your suggestions a try. Merci!
Thank you for the amazing content! We are coming to Paris for the first time in October. I also appreciate that you always list the Metro Station for each attraction/location.
So glad to see Paris green again! When we visited last summer, it was during the heat wave and everything was brown… Will also recommend the top of the Arc de Triomphe for getting quality tourist photos with the Eiffel Tower. (I can’t imagine doing bridal photos because of all the stairs, but the views are amazing!)
Ahh…Place des Vosges… and Carette… great memories ❤ Ifyour friends don’t have a photographer yet, I would happily fly back to Paris for their wedding ;)
We returned from Paris two weeks ago. Being an experienced photographer, I was overwhelmed with all of the photo opportunities. My favorite place to photograph was Pont Alexandre III. It has infinite possibilities! This was more of a vacation than a photoshoot for my wife and me, so I skipped the tripod and traveled light. Tripods are very useful for blue hour and night photography. The Arc de Triomphe was insanely crowded during the day. If we ever have a chance to visit Paris again I will bring the tripod and my speedlight and do some serious low light street photography, especially the Arc de Triomphe after sunset.
Your videos are terrific, fun, light, and VERY informative. I used many of your recommendations last Fall on my trip to Paris (even though I'd been many times before) and will again when I make my next visit THIS Fall. Meet for a drink??
Great suggestions particularly walk along embankment for Eiffel Tower. A few of my own. One of the great bits of Paris is changed in natural light eg Eiffel Tower at dusk or lit at nighttime. Champs Elyse is virtually due west so shot of Arc de Triomphe from middle pedestrian bollard in middle of Champs at sunset. Also. apart from Tower and Montparnasse Paris is fairly flat compared to other cities - maybe a shot from Sacre Courr hill again at dusk. Finally, inside outside Opera Garnier very cool. One maybe to avoid - nighttime Seine cruise - many of the floodlit buildings are not very visible from river boat….. only the embankments
Great video...if only you would have created it 3 weeks ago. lol. We did hit most of the places you mentioned but your video revealed a couple of interesting places we didn't know. about. We were there for 11 days and between my wife and I, we took about 6,000 pictures. What we needed was more early mornings. Thank you for all of the incite your videos provided me. I started planning my trip last November.
Hello, i just would like to thank you for your tips! Just arrived in Lisbon my home, from 5 days in Paris! Stayed in Saint Germains de Près , bought the Pass Navigo semaine and visit all the museums and beautiful places that you recommended! Thanks !❤️
Thanks for the great tips! I'm heading to Paris in June and have lined up some portrait sessions with models. Super excited to get some new content for my Instagram and RUclips page!
Picture-taking is very essential to us, especially when we're travelling with the kids! I love your suggestions and tips on where we should go to avoid the crowds! I will take down notes and make sure we include these places on our itinerary. I can't wait to visit Paris next month and hopefully see you both taking pictures at the Square Du Vert Galant lol Thank you for this video!
After buying guides in Thatch, all your video tips need to be in Thatch too.. I know it must be lots of works! Once it is in Thatch, I can just get lost and use the map function for anything spots mentioned!! Thank you guys! Been here for 2 days now… finally Jet lag is over! A bit of too hot to walk outside from noon to 7pm… best to nap.. lol.. et can’t agreed more because of the daylight is good till 10pm… evening strolling will become my time here in the summer…. Btw. La Madison d’isabelle from your recommendation is awesome! Probably will become my daily thing… And Chez Rene is amazing as well! Parisienne is thin, but if I follow all your guides eatery… I’m going to be obese soon… mdr…
@@LesFrenchiesTravel Bonjour! Just be aware, la Madison d’isabelle is Wednesday to Sunday people. Which turns out to be a normal thing here for some shops.. so people please check opening hours….
Did you really film it in one day? Must be a lot of walking. Thanks for the video! So helpful especially for someone like me who loves taking pictures…
I know there is longer one but you cannot walk on them and when you are stuck in traffic it feels even longer😉 but I think that le pont Bir-Hakeim is longer or tied to it.

Hello! Quick question: I’m coming to Paris from Thursday until Tuesday morning, should I bite the bullet and get a 5 day Paris Visite Metro Pass or do a Navigo Weekly and just add as needed for Monday. I plan on using the metro a few times per day. Thank you for all of your time and effort. You guys have been very helpful. Best, Levi.
Thanks for all the usefull videos......... I do have a question for you: I hear that the bridge where you can place a lock in its fence, is no longer allowed to do that? I fo, Is there another place to do it? Thanks in advance!
Not really recommended. The city of Paris is cracking down on that. The locks are removed regularly and disgarded. They're way too many of them, and they damage fences and walls 😞
Hi, our family likes your videos and you very much. We will visit Paris in early August. Just to see whether you have the business to offer private walk tour in Paris. 8/11 or 8/12 thx
Half of the places mentioned are within a 500m perimeter around Pont Neuf. No tourist can pass through. There were thousands of other spots to give away : jardin du Luxembourg, Buttes Chaumont, Palais Garnier, Parc Monceau, Ile Saint-Louis, Canal Saint Martin, Quai Saint Bernard, Jardin des Plantes,... and all the places where your feet can take you.
9:28 : No, the middle of a cycle path is obviously not an "ideal location". It's actually quite annoying - and dangerous - to see people standing in the middle of the road every day on your way to work or home. As you have shown, Paris is full of very interesting - and safe! - places where you can take photos without risking being involved in an accident or an altercation with the locals, and without breaking local laws. The aim of our transport system is to enable people (Tourist, Parisians, etc.) to get from place to place, to work, museum, home, etc. safely and efficiently. Not to be a nice background for photos. You can take photos in Paris, you're welcome to, but please, not in the middle of the roads. We respect the fact that not only people from outside have the right to enjoy the city, and contribute to it's wealth and life, but do not forget people live here, it is not Disneyland.
At Les Soufflé for dinner, everyone is American, or at least English speaking. I wanted to ask who else found out about this restaurant from Les Frenchies!?

Fun Fact about Pont-Neuf (New Bridge) it’s the oldest bridge of Paris 😉
