- Glory Bound! This is another ensemble piece that will sound even better when the whole gang is together, though I like the solo banjo version pretty well too. I'm quite glad that the songbirds kept it down during this, they can get into pretty loud fights, especially when they're divvying out nesting territory. Also! I'm experimenting with playing further up the neck on the banjo. I think it gives a more mellow tone, but its a bit of an adjustment to not have the drumhead to rely on.

The sound of birds fighting is far more relaxing than the sounds of traffic near where I live now. I wish I could go back to the countryside I grew up in.

Hey, there is a nice ambient banjo channel here that plays long loops of chill banjo music with a mood very much like this. I can't remember the name, but it's ambient space banjo, basically. I'll look it up and post here.
I posted the link here, but RUclips police must've deleted it. The channel is Space Banjo. I listen to it a lot when I'm doing dishes or artwork.

The only thing I'd change is a windscreen on your mic so we can hear the banjo and birds without the wind. But still awesome anyway! Keep it up!

I picked around on banjo for years before I learned that the banjo head (drum) needs to be tuned; usually to G or more likely G#. You are ahead of me so you probably already know this. My problem is that once I learn 3 chords on an instrument I take up another one. Now I know 3 chords on 5 string instruments.
