Very informative video sir. I did M.pharm in industrial pharmacy and i am gpat qualified. I am very passionate about F&D. If i can enter this department?
Thanks Neelam! 🙏 Surely you can try a career in F&D. Being from an Industrial Pharmacy you should explore technology transfer, an indispensable part of F&D. All the best and keep learning. Thanks Sripathi for asking that question. A fresher can get 2-6 lakhs as starting salary. This depends on the company, the reputation of your college and your personal skills (both hard and soft). With an experience of about 09-10 years, one can easily get 10-15 lakhs package. Again this depends on the company and the candidate. MNCs have good salary package, although initially you might have to struggle. I hope I could answer your question. If you are in LinkedIn, do connect here www.bit.ly/LinMKY
Hai ,I am working in Dr Reddy's,as an documentation officer supporting to FARD for preparation of spec&stps for different markets, now I want to shift to other company, way forward plz.
There is a slight difference. I FR&D, research too happens alongside formulation and development. That means, there is a formulation, a research and a development happening. In F&D, formulation and development happens for already established or standardized formulations. I hope it helps you!
Sir i had done M.pharm in industrial pharmacy and i am highly interested in F&D or FRD department. Can i do this because i heard from someone that only pharmaceutics people's are allowed to enter that.
Hi Neelam, thanks for asking his question💐. Both industrial pharmacy and pharmaceutics professionals are a good fit for F&D/FR&D. While pharmaceutics can directly work in areas of formulations and research, those like you with industrial pharmacies can opt for technology transfer, an indispensable part of F&D.
