Formulation development is a key salient feature of pharmacy professionals. We all aware that every drug candidates have different physical and chemical properties and different diseases need different mode of administrations of a same medicine. For exm, inflammatory medicine - diclofenac. It is available as solid dosage form or topical ointment or IV or IM etc.
And why same medicine is required in different dosages? It is completely depends upon severity of conditions or affected organs or many other factors.
And this kind of all research is done by formulation development team. India is investing heavily in F&D for long period of time. And Pharma industries are always looking for young talent is this field of research.
