Seeds. It’s all about planting and starting from seeds in nature. Only the strongest seeds survive and grow into healthy disease resistant fruit barring plants.
Reminds me of a story of some people who brought a cactus home, and would notice it moving into the light. They were confused and eventually found out it was filled with tarantulas that would move the pot

Your description of how the trees brew a natural "tea" brought a question to my mind about human history and the brewing of beverages for both recreational and medical purposes. Did humans learn that brewing or steeping plant materials in water can have positive effects by observing or even partaking of these natural concoctions as displayed in your amazing tiny world? Considering how deeply entrenched such things are in literally every culture, nature itself may have taught us how to make nutritious and medicinal drinks!
When you move Godzilla out you should restock the pond with fish and also add some amphibians as well! Pantdora could use some more frogs with all the baby Hunstman being born
Since the mantis project kind of failed, will you try again? If so, will you incubate the egg sac in isolation? I would hate to have ants ruin the project again. I was so looking forward to following the life cycle
Appreciative of some Orchadia content, been waiting for it for awhile! As a fellow organism owner I understand how long it takes for ecosystems to establish, grow, and become interesting. The patience has paid off!
That´s a great episode, it was nice to see more focus on the animals and the ecosystem and less drama again. Pantdora/Orchadia is truely epic in itself. I am also glad to hear, that you plan to relocate Godzilla outdoor. It was quite obvious, that it would have been incredibly difficult to house him in a naturalistic ecosystem extension and a real challenge to design that in a way, that he cannot completely vandalize it. Now, the next extention does not need to be designed about that requirenment and can therefore be more beautyful and diverse. As for the highly invasive ant species: At this stage, I would just periodically suck of some of them with a vacuum cleaner to give the native species a little advantage over them. And keep boosting the biodiversity in Pantdora and Orchadia (especially small herbivores and plants) in order to further increase the resillience of the system. I would also recommend to make sure, that Orchadia and Pantdora are and remain functionally well connected. Together the system is more diverse and more robust.
Imagine if another invasive ant colony and that ant species is the Pharaoh Ant.. man I have some traumas from your old videos about these ants because they are absolutely terrifying and 5x more dangerous than the other invasive ants which is insane.
Your mastery of the myriad of elements that go into creating your amazing videos is hard to imagine. Just your ability to create and maintain such a huge, bio-diverse ecosystem indoors is mind boggling in itself. Your uncanny ability to capture it on film displays not only an extraordinary knowledge of photography, but also the patience to find great shots, then the quickness to frame, focus and shoot the shots before they disappear. And there are many dozens of photo and video clips in each video. Which brings us to the nightmare of editing all that footage. I'm sure there aren't too many viewers who appreciate just how difficult this process is, no matter how experienced you are. Editing is a VERY long, tedious, precise, mind numbing process. Id be amazed if you're spending less than 20 hours editing these awesome videos. Your narration can be characterized more as storytelling, and it's simultaneously entertaining and educational. You cleverly lure us into emotional attachments to your fauna by naming them and referring to them with fond delight. Not to be forgotten is how well you coordinate your story to the video clips and photos, and music, which is not easy either. Altogether, your spectacular skill set allows you to make the most polished and fun nature videos I've ever had the pleasure of watching!!!

Mikey: Tetramorium insolens is native to areas bordering the Philippines, including several islands in Eastern Indonesia. Yet, it's deemed invasive on other adjacent islands... The whole concept of "invasive species" has become so inflated, politicized and weaponized that we ought to be much more discerning and skeptical of it. The problem with truly invasive species is that, to use your immune system analogy, the body/environment has NOT evolved resistance to that species. That's why they are invasive. It's true that most foreign species don't thrive in new places because they are not adapted to them. But for those that are invasive, by definition, they are able to exploit new environments without local species effectively fighting back. You will need to, and should, intervene to keep the balance.
I think the water habitat is the next zone to address (after Godzilla leaves), it used to be a stable environment but just wasn’t big enough of an area to handle Godzilla’s consistently presence. Maybe you could pull off another caiman in a larger swamp/water vivarium attached to Pandora.

7:49 I think you should name the red ant colony the Insolent Army because their species name is insolens, and insolent is fitting for an invasive species
Godzilla seems like he would be too small for an outdoor pond right now. I'm no expert on caimans, but I think you should keep him in some larger indoor enclosure until he's big enough to live outside.

I'm so glad you're enjoying the Orchadia content!
I think you should add a group of bombardier beetles eventually as well as maybe a couple of random flying insect species and also when you make a swamp vivarium you should put tall grasses in it aswell as like a couple of toads or more species of amphibious animals
bro i been watching u since u had like 300k… i love ur fuckin vids. it’s relaxing
W antscanada!!!!!
How dare RUclips hide this from me for 2 minutes
Waaaaaa. The huntsman spider with a sac and BABIES!!!
The "fungi" you mentioned kinda looks like a excess drop of caulking that dripped somewhere.
We need an og ant series aswell
For the past year I have been watching this religiously every Sunday. Thank you for this awesome project
Thanks for watching!
I was just thinking of the day vs night ecosystem in here, gonna put this on my PlayStation and finally relax at home
When the Npc comments are back and the ones talking about the egg being milked you know its going to be a good video
I’d love to see the addition of some ghost fungi into the rainforest, they would add another amazing element to the nighttime cycle.
Can you please bring in more animals
My goodness you’re such a kind guy “how life evolved or was designed” you made sure to be the least controversial possible
DOLICHOTERUS NAME IDEA: DOLI TROTTERS those guys are zooming around lol

Thank you!
The down right savagery of the "To be continued" 😭❤️She's addicted😭❤️
"Ant love forever" and "On the Antscanada, Ant Channel!" Have always been a classic.

Watching this rainforest series is like watching a baby grow and learn
Also I think that we should call the Dolichoderus ants the Dark Angels because they are arboreal ants as mentioned in the last video and they are blackish. Like this comment if you support the name!
That white fungus is probably a slime mold
