If I had to choose which of the 3 AvP games (1999, 2001, 2010) should get a sequel, I'd definitely go for 2010, I really want to see more of this continuity, get a follow up campaign with Dark traveling to the Alien Homeworld, Rookie getting somehow forced to head there for whatever reason (IDK, maybe WY redirects his ship there), but most of all I'd love a follow up to specimen 6's campaign, as I'd love if we got gameplay as an alien queen (at least some would be awesome!) and if we don't follow them the whole campaign then I'd love to get something similar to AvP2 with the lifecycle. Though that is if we get a sequel and we do follow up on each protagonist, but at the very least it'd be great if we could just get a new AvP with modern technology and actually getting a true sequel for once with these games, even if the game would be like 15-20 years old if I had to guess by the time it happens (If we're lucky). With Disney now owning both the Aliens and Predator franchises, we NEED a new AvP game or anything since Dark horse hasn't been able to in 4 freaking years and I've been craving for a new game for nearly 15 years.
Do you have any idea how these youtubers get such super crisp pictures like this? I’m playing this now on PS3 and really loving the game, but my picture as I play is grainy and doesn’t look crisp like this at all. I’m not the most tech savvy so asking for tips if there’s anyway I can get it to look this way. 🤷🏻♂️. Thanks.
Nice work. Still loving your format and appreciate your candid style that doesn't imply any sort of arrogance that can be pretty common out there. You state your opinion, but make it clear that someone else may see it differently. I will be recommending you. 😀
What a massive coincidence to find this video posted just 2 days prior to my own take! Really interesting to see both the similar and diverging opinions! I felt that Rebellion improved on a lot of things over their previous AvP. But they slowed down the movement way too much for my personal taste, so Monolith's iteration is still the best of the bunch.
I really loved how this game explored more of Xenos nature Six is a true hero she saved her mother and sisters The Matriarch is great mother and never gave us to help her children until her last breaths unlike Ants, Xenos never ever try to replace her with a young Queen though she is way old yet Xenos protected her with all their lives also since they mentioned their homeworld i think Matriarch is one of most Queen Mother's daughters and after Six's mother died as Queen she was going to meet her grandmother and worshipp her just like any Queens would do
I really liked the videos, they're rather well made. Overall avp 2 is the best overall, controls are generally good and for the most part delivers a great experience especially on a first play through. Avp 2010 is okay, is both succeeds and fails because of modernization, it's fun but burns out pretty quickly. Then there's avp classic, raw gameplay, it has the most replay ability and a very high skill ceiling, shame that the multi-player is long gone.
@@DarkAetherCaptainI love this game so much. It’s super fun. Been playing it for a week and almost done with the marine campaign. Gonna play the Alien campaign next.
You should've played it on highest difficulties, you have to get good and it's intense. You can only block light attacks. And for the alien can't just run up and press attack, only noobs do that. You need to pounce, or use heavy attacks and follow them up with attacks to kill people. Multiplayer was fire, only thing I hated was how the host has an advantage and can recover from parries quicker.
I absolutely love the Aliens look in the game and the fact that you can see your body when you turn. Very good sound effects, very good visuals. Predator movement is probably the best it has ever been and frankly the first 2 or 3 missions of the campaign are the mosst fun compared to the other 2. World Design is good. The Franchise got a bit of a modernization, without having holograms etc. (Aliens really has to leave that old garbage retro look.) But the gameplay... Having only a light and a heavy attack for the melee, and a bunch of guns for the Marine as well as the often one hit kill weapons of the predator Pretty boring. Though the Finisher kills always look amazing. The story? What Story? Marines land, get their asses beaten and leave. All the while stopping Synth Weyland to do... what exactly? Predator land, kill shit, kill Predalien and leave. Alien? Kills shit and becomes Queen at the end of the game. If I could take something from this game it will be the visuals and the sound effects. Maybe some of the music. I would take bits and pieces of the gameplay, like the Predator gameplay. But other than that? Not much else. Oh and hte Alien. To me this Alien design is the best looking Alien period.
They are on my list, but might be a while till I get to them. MandaloreGaming did some great reviews on them if you are looking for some vids to watch.
@@InfoGuyGaming there are so many standalone games as well as the AvP games. It’s fun to compare, especially if they are different in gameplay. AvP Extinction for instance, very different from AvP Evolution or the previous three. But then Alien Isolation is an all different game compared to Aliens Fireteam Elite, or Predator Concrete Jungle. Some good, some bad, and then there’s Colonial Marines 😂

I’m playing this now. Absolutely love it, but they definitely did. It’s more Aliens focused than Predator focused. Nonetheless, a super fun underrated game that is really a great time.
Hi thanks for checking out the video, If you want to see more reviews I've done, here's a playlist ruclips.net/p/PLtiuHW2Sjl_7-g6kcP64unhSdqBSYDtya
4:11 Finally! You are the first person I know to notice that. I thought that I was going crazy! No one talks about that.
Yeah they used elephants to get the sound.
severely underrated channel, you need wayyy more subscribers.

I still play this online. The melee combat is somethign you MUST learn in order to be effective in multiplayer. Even if you are playing as a Marine.

I genuinely like that game, it is not perfect yeah, but I enjoy it overall. Pretty underrated game in my honest opinion.
ironic that i just started replaying this game
Okay. Now do Isolation and Dark Descent.
They are on my list, but might be a while till I get to them. MandaloreGaming did some great reviews on them if you are looking for some vids to watch.
I'd love to see your review on Killzone. If you want to stay in the genre, Aliens: Colonial Marines would be a fun disaster to see.
One day maybe :)
They need to remake this game
They should make a remake for the new consoles
Will you be reviewing other Alien Predator games?
Eventually yes I like to, lots of titles to choose from but I'd like to try other games for now after going through three AvP games.

make video about what happened to AVP games studios?
do reviews for other aliens vs predator games
concrete jungle

I'll hopefully get to some of those one day.
@@InfoGuyGaming yeah make it in one hour movie include all the titles
Well
avp from 2004 is an amazing movie and that's a hill im prepared to die on
More Action than Horror? Sounds like they're sticking to the Aliens part of Aliens vs Predator
