    I think the H3 is the best of all the Hummers (the GMC Hummer EV inclusive). Not too expensive, not too heavy (both why I included the Hummer EV), not as cheap looking as the H2, not as large and space inefficient as the H1. Plus they're fuel efficient for a Hummer (which isn't really great for a box on wheels with a 5 cylinder or V8 engine, but better than the H1). And they're still good off road.

    I’ve got two H3’s. A bright yellow 2006 which just looks so cool. Plus a silver 2009 which has front locking diffs too as well as the rear. It’s been modified slightly, I have a full length roof rack with rear ladder and you can sleep up there when I go desert camping. Plus surround led bars.
    I live in Dubai and they do struggle with the a/c at times but it’s not a real issue.
    I didn’t realize how popular they are, complete strangers will come up and admire them, especially the yellow one. I’ve even come back to it parked and folks are getting their photo taken next to it!

    Best way to expirience the H3 Hummer is with a 5.3 V8 Alpha version....Much more reliable motor! only about a 1MPG fuel penalty....If your able to find an Adventure Package....You have the GM equivalent of a Wrangler Rubicon with front & rear locking differentials in the 2009 model and the same 4:1 low gear Xfer case of the Rubicon.

    I feel offended. My 06 rides like a Cadillac and the gas mileage is pretty decent. I averaged 17mpg when I went on vacation last week. It is way more nimble than people would think and it has a great turning radius. The h3s are about the same size as a Ford Edge. My wife has an 09 avenger that is about the same width and actually longer than my h3.

    Let me correct you on the whole its a Colorado or a canyon. Wrong it's 10% of the frame which means its not it's washed out. Plus if your back is killing you after driving it.. bad bad bad suspension. I have an almost original Hummer h3 fron 2006. Two things were done to make it no longer oem. The muffler which like that one it's aftermarket. I had more miles on it than that one. I have a little more rust cause I do go off-road in mine. But I also have a leveling kit. I feel no bumps. I don't feel anything under my 33 inch tires. I have what I call a mini tank. Plus the hummer h3 is the safest vehicle I have ever driven. I've smacked a tree limb (to be fair it was rotten) and it didn't put a scratch on it. I've seen pebbles break windshields. Ice from a box truck hit mine going 70 mph and didn't do anything but hurt my visibility. Hummer h3 is what a Hummer should be. The h3 is the best of both the 2 and 1. The one sucks for leg room and room inside in general. But its the best in class off-road. The 2 is horrible off road. It's leg room was nice. But it was clunky on the inside let's be honest. So gm decided for the h3 to take the best of it's predecessors. And it works just fine. Good video just wanted to point out the h3 to you sounds like garbage but it's better than most. Better than Toyota Tacomas of today. Plus most vehicles can't do what Hummer can. That's new and old. It was ahead of it's time. Even the h1 was ahead than most cars in 2006.

      @damilolaakanni 2 года назад

      The FJ also had that weird suicide door setup that the Mazda RX-8 had, so visibility was quite bad. In fact one could argue that the FJ had worse visibility because of the rear "door" situation. But at least the FJ was very reliable, as was the 5.3 in these H3s. I don't know of the I5 though.

    There is SO much information you didn't review about the HUMMER H3! Granted, it won't get out of its own way on the highway, I mean, zero to sixty seems like a whole minute, BUT the damn thing will climb my house! That so called "Speaker" you mentioned in the rear compartment is a Monsoon Subwoofer which sounds incredible with the included Monsoon Sound System on the H3! Also, my 2006 H3 rides better (Smoother) than my nephew's 2010 Lincoln Navigator. Looking at the undercarriage of your H3 and the condition of that shift boot, I'm willing to bet that your H3 has not been well maintained. This is the only Hummer you can reasonably daily drive. It's not larger than a parking spot and gets reasonable MPG for a 4x4 SUV shaped like a brick. These were actually pretty good off road when optioned with the rear locker. They could hold their own against a Nissan XTerra or an FJ Cruiser (another SUV that suffers from small windows and poor visibility). I want an H1 but I harbor no belief that it's a daily driver. It was built for a purpose and nothing else. The H2... how were they not all crushed the first time gas hit $4? We almost touched $5 a month ago and I still see H2s rolling around. And the image of the stereotypical H2 buyer... The new GMC Hummer EV is just ridiculous in every way, and those ways aren't all good. I don't want an H3 but I don't hate them. They're fine.
    A distant family member just traded his H3 for a Tesla S. He must have liked the H3 because he had it for a while but he likes his S. I think he got his right before the silly yoke not-a-wheel was introduced.

    You’re completely wrong about goldfish. It’s a complete myth that their growth is determined by the size of the tank they’re in, and an extremely dangerous and cruel one at that. People have used this myth to justify housing a fish that can grow over 8-12” long in a 1 gallon bowl. The only reason their growth would be stunted is because they type of person to throw a goldfish in a tiny bowl likely isn’t providing them with the proper care they need to thrive. Or they simply die before it becomes an issue for the same reasons.
    I get the metaphor you were trying to use but, as someone who keeps fish and understands the amount of work required to properly maintain a fish tank and provide my animals with the care they deserve, perpetuating a myth that has led to millions of fish being slowly poisoned to death by their own waste, not to mention one that someone who gives it more than two seconds of thought would quickly realize how ridiculous a notion it is, it’s frustrating enough that I felt the need to point it out in the hopes I can educate at least one person who happens to come across my comment.

    The ride of my hummer is great! Looks like yours has been jacked with via wheels and suspension hence ride quality will suffer so what we have is a review of another so called car guy that knows nothing about the H3! Another words who cares what he says about H3👎

    Is the Hummer H3 Automatic or Manual?

    • @Snailmailtrucker
      @Snailmailtrucker Год назад

      The majority of the H3 Hummers are 4 speed automatics. I bought my 2006 H3 about a year and a half ago because it was the 5 speed manual trans model. I paid about $10,000.00 back in Dec 2021... a little high but she's a beauty !
