At my Christian summer camp, one girl in my cabin got a boyfriend, another girl (12) got a boyfriend (16), and my counselor admitted she was dating another counselor. We legit have campfires with the oldest boys cabin and talk about this stuff. And there is so much gossip. 💀

At my church camp my youth pastor said “Boy are blue, girls are red, please do not go purple” And I laughed and got a little confused of what he meant by “don’t go purple” cause I hadn’t really experienced a summer camp like that in a while. It wasn’t until later in the week I see one of the middle schoolers from my church go purple 😭😭😭

It's really fun! This is my first year going to church camp as an actual youth kid but I have gone to camp since I was 6, because my dad is the pastor. There is so many fun activities and you constantly make new friends! Also at camp I always feel close to God.
