I took the salsa classes at that Korean restaurant with Kentaro too! Threw me off because here I was taking salsa classes hosted by a Japanese guy in a Korean restaurant and having to speak English for people who didn't know Spanish...in Mexico. It was peak culture 😅😅 Then, the cool thing was everyone who took that class was allowed a free bachata class and a party at a Japanese restaurant a night or two later. Anyway, there is a place right next door to the Korean restaurant called Central de Flautas. The owners were so fkn sweet to me, I'll never forget them. Drop by and support them. The flautas are great.
The reason we have “breakfast” around 10 in the morning, it’s because we have coffee/hot cocoa/atole/milk with bread around 7am. Some people (such as my family) repeat this around 9pm so as to not go to bed with an empty stomach, so it’s pretty much a merienda.
Nate you seem like such a bloody legend, I recently found your channel as learning spanish, about to move to CDMX, you bring such life to these videos and clearly to those around you. Keep fkn rocking!
I LOVE your intro/ business ad there, it was giving old school JG Wentworth or one of those infomercials you wake up to at 3:15am!! hahaha good for you!! Hope you get even more students all the time! Really cool vlog, the trees kind of arching over the street on your drive were so pretty; really interesting learning about life there :)
Adamanta is my fave spot for bouldering. Metropoli Patriotismo is not far and has good top-rope climbing (y mini golf + boliche + billar + cine). Definitely check out the Cablebus...several km in gondolas. Bienvenidos a CDMX! Have been here since Nov 2022, mostly exploring outside the inner expat zone. Happy to share fun finds & tasty food/drink spots.
I also live in CDMX. you should go and visit el cerro de la estrella it's a nice hill with a pyramid on the top. if you take the metro line8 the green one you can stop at cerro de la estrewlla station. you'll have the best cityskype in CDMX
Would be awesome to see more days out or days doing things speaking spanish, I'm pausing all the time, going on my translator to make sure I got correct spelling, writing in my notes... Awesome channel again
Maybe it's not good to say exactly where you live? Like apartment number, etc. i don't know. But loved the video Nate! Learned some stuff I didn't know before!
LOVED this video! Yo se que estas tratando de enfocar tu contenido pero este tipo de video me gusto mucho. Also, I'm a fairly new subscriber but thought you moved to mexico on your own. Who's Alex and how did you guys become roommates?

So lunch is also called "la comida" in Mexico? I thought it was just that way in Spain. Interesting!
in pretty much all hispanic countries, desayuno, comida, cena, and sometimes almuerzo and merienda
