I absolutely love this drink. The drink is better when refrigerated. Not sure why you guys don’t like it. Only complaint is that the bottles are expensive.

Exactly what I thought it would taste like when I saw it at Costco. Glad I decided to watch your video before being adventurous and wasting $25 on an 8-pack. I owe you a beer or 3.

My parents used to buy these, but in small jars from chinatown. Says it was pretty expensive. They don't buy them anymore. Don't know why.
But today, randomly, i just thought about my favorite childhood drink. So that's how I found your video. I think everybody's taste buds are different. Just like how some don't like cantaloupes at all.

I just tried it for the first time today. The smell was very funky. The taste overall isn’t bad but it’s an acquired taste. I tried to drink as much as I could by pinching my nose. As you said, it’s not bad but it doesn’t taste good as well 😅 The only reason I’m forcing myself to finish the bottle is because it has a lot of health benefits. 1/27/22

I just tried this drink because a guy I was trying to help with his English gave it to me. I was expecting it to taste terrible, like wood or straw or something, but... when I got into it, it just tasted like a vaguely sweet beverage that alternated between a porridge-like and a gelatin-like consistency, with maybe some earthy tones in it as well. It didn't taste terrible to me, but honestly I felt like I was just eating something that was like a less appetizing version of Jello or tapioca pudding. Like... it was okay, but it's also not something I would go out of my way to get. I'm kind of surprised that it was enough to make you spit it out... did you eat it at room temperature? I had it in the fridge first, so that could be what made the difference.

I actually like the taste of these, drinking one as I'm writing this. I suppose it is an acquired taste but being an Asian American, I've been exposed to lots of other cultural delicacies.

I bought one of these today thinking it was some kind of lemon drink. I looked at the ingredients list out of curiosity and it literally says it includes "swallow bird nest", which confused me. From the image it looks like fruit, but as I am finding out, it is literal swallow bird saliva?? Interesting. I never would have thought bird spit would ever be put into my mouth without realizing, but here we are.
Edit: I am sipping on my bottle of swallow bird nest drink and my brain keeps thinking this is a fruit drink every time I taste or smell it, even though it just tastes and smells like watered down sugar to me. So bizarre. I'm buying more my next stop to Walmart.

As soon as he drinks it he threw it up, didn’t drink it properly, my opinion the drink doesn’t has a smell to it. It’s a sweet like jelly texture. It’s very good, but 6$ a bottle is just too expensive.

Apparently, the gathering of the nests is a very dangerous job, and due to lack of a government safety division like America's OSHA, it costs some workers their lives. I saw something on, I think it was, the Smithsonian channel.

Hello Greetings👏 I am Naufal from the largest producer of swallow nests in the world, namely indonesia🇮🇩 as most of our swallow nests are exported to China as the largest consumer in the world followed by Hong Kong, America, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, Canada and France. Swallow is widely consumed by ethnic Chinese because of its many benefits, usually used for pregnant women so that their children will be smarter and not disabled at birth, for diabetics, cancer, youth, body immunity and others. Swallow is rich in nutrients and nutrients such as water 15.90%, alanine 1.31%, arginine 3.93%, amino acids 4.56, aspartic acid 6.34%, glutamic acid 9.61%, sialic acid 9%, phenylalanine 4.49%, glucose 0.7%, galactose 16.9%, galactosamine 7.2%,,Glycine 1.87%, Glucosamine 5.3%, Histidine 2.31%, Isoleucine 1.80%, Carbohydrate 22.28%, Fat 0.67%, Leucine 3.84%, Lysine 5.44%, Methionine 0.48%, Proline 3.64%, Protein 58.55%, Serine 4.56%, Tyrosine 3.92%, Threonine 3.82%, Valine 3.93% and others. We as the largest swallow nest producer regret that the Indonesian people do not really like the swallow because of the high price and lack of education.
Btw I have my own swallow cultivation and the results of the nest we consume, besides that we also do business in swallow consultants who have been long enough about 10 years and I am now starting to sell swallow nest drinks.
