Hi . That's a Hoya plant , don't cut the long brown stems off , those are tendrils and new leaves grow on them . 😊 It's a gorgeous plant and when it blooms it smells amazing 😍
I love hoyas! I can't get over how big it is. It's beautiful! And, yes, don't cut the tendrils. They will reach for the light and work their way around the beam.
Yeah, it looks like it might be a hoya pubicalyx. It made me so sad to see her cutting off all the new growth, I'm surprised the people at the shop didn't warn her not to. I have a large one in my computer room and it gets the most beautiful flowers. Another tips is you should never cut the flowers off of a hoya as they won't re bloom from that spot if you cut off the peduncle.
I have 2 huge Hoya plants like that, and they are very easy to care for. Don't over-water. The flowers are amazing. I like the look of it hanging from the beam more than in the corner.
I think it would be pretty to move your largest mirror propped against the wall where your tree is to bounce light into your living space. You can use your tree to shade the light however bright you want it.
Yes, many have suggested that. And the painting of the woman is more suitable for your dressing room or bedroom. A collage of mirrors would look wonderful on the two walls above the benches.
I am so happy that you picked up that lovely poppy ceramic container - I think it is so beautiful. Good clothing finds that you made too. Mustard dress looks so pretty and comfortable. It will be great to see how you style them all. That blue dress looks like something right off of the fashion runway of the past.😊 I hope that the right person finds that gem on your website. What a great week that you had finding that woman and her amazing vintage collection 🥰. I love when those serendipitous moments happen in life ❤.
The chance meeting with the lady who also runs a vintage shop sounds magical. How wonderful. It was only in the last video or the previous one you were saying how difficult it is to find vintage at the moment and then - pop - there she is. Amazing.
I still cant get over your skylight!!! It changed everything. What an awesome change. The light and beautiful beams. That is such a special area. So clever to do that. A high light for everyday. ❤️
Hi Elise, If you haven’t painted your wall cabinet yet, don’t forget to prime the piece with grain/knot-blocking primer so you don’t see the pine knots through the paint! Strong wood grain/knots will show through the paint over time if not primed correctly!😁. Please forgive me if you already know this, but I did want to share that tip if helpful! My husband is an expert in paint/painting after almost 40 years in the paint industry! Have a great weekend!!!
Oh the brown stems on the vines are what the Hoya plants climbs with and then form new leaves on so you really shouldn't cut them off if you want it wrapping and growing around the beams.
I love that you use a tablecloth on your dining table. It is such a lovely way to add color and texture to a room, yet these days many people won’t use them-minimalism and all that. Your dining room is just lovely!
I feel the same way about table cloths. Apparently it's more modern and more casual to forgo using them plus places to go eat food at it's also a cost thing so they don't have to pay to wash/dry them. It's such a shame as it's nice to go out and do special things yet ppl think formal is too old fashioned. Plus some places that just wipe down tables between customers the cloth they are wiping with they don't clean the cloth often enough so I just wince watching them make the table more icky. So, a table cloth actually feels like it would be cleaner. I love how you can get them all different styles so you could go formal or there are casual ones as well and give more personality and a vibe.
I love using tablecloths. I usually use 2 or 3 overlapping eachother for colour and texture. I love velvet tablecloths with fringes. I have one I found thrifting but im looking for more.
I was going to recommend putting a console table behind the right side of bench. This would allow you to have somewhere to put lamps, a spot to put things from the table while eating dinner with guests etc. Also, this would allow you to push the bench and table more towards under the skylights.😁
Hi Elise. Loved this, so very happy for you. I felt sad when in your last video you had tears in your eyes. The ceramic jars with the lids are chinese ginger jars. Very much looking forward to seeing the cool vintage shop soon! x Nell.
I love the mustard floral dress. It looks like something I would have worn in the 1970s. The vintage gold dress looks so much like a dress my mother had in the 1960s. It sounds like meeting the woman was meant to be. So glad you have someone to share your love of vintage.
I absolutely adore you Elise , please try and never dought yourself and when down just remember how wonderful you are and how much your videos bring joy 😁
The bench: consider buying 4 body pillows and cover them with your favorite fabric and attach ties to wrap around the bench. Also. consider building two long tables that would fit behind the bench. something like what people put behind their couches .
The green dress is the ‘Perfect Color’ with your red hair and porcelain skin! ..and I’m in love with the vintage Wedding Dress too, it looks like the ‘Roaring 1920s’ !!
I’m glad you are going to hang the mirror on the wall with the olive tree, it bounces light into the room which is lovely❤ The cabinet will be a great addition.
You looked lovely in everything! The green dress looks like it might be from the 70's. The mustard dress was so cute on you, not your usual style, but you're branching out these days. Yay! And that blue blazer is fabulous! So glad you've found someone in your field to work with and I hope it is a very joyful and prosperous collaboration. Congratulations! Can't wait to see the finishing touches in your dining area! ❤❤❤❤
The new collection is 150% my style! The colors, patterns and 70s in my obsession and I am in LOVE with what you brought in! I unfortunately cannot be buying anymore clothes at the moment 😅 but once I sell a few things I will def hope over to Bohemian Wonders and see what's new! Also, the corner with the bench is looking so good. I can see your vision and I can't wait to see it once it's done! Have a wonderful week!
The little blue jar with lid is called a ginger jar in ancient times it cared spices and or salt. Now you can use the just to look at or put flowers in them they come in a lot of different sizes
Hi Elise, I sincerely love all your videos. Your creativity in styling your wonderful vintage pieces is always beautiful and fresh. You are truly gifted! Thank you for sharing your lovely home and beautiful pieces! Have a lovely, blessed and productive weekend. Please take time for some much needed relaxation also!! So happy you've found someone new to work with for your new pieces!❤❤
Hoya Pubicalyx Super Splash, a beautiful pink wax flower. Hoyas are my favorite. They love light but not direct sunshine. Keep the soil chunky with more bark than soil.
Elise you look stunning in everything you wear 😮 how do you do it wish I had your sense of style x😊 also your home is so cosy full of character xx brilliant xx
Happy that you've found a friend with the same passion for vintage, would love a little tour of her place. Love the super cute cabinet, look forward to seeing it painted. Great funky pieces for the drop this week !✨️
Hey Elise....I been so busy lately but also I am saving your videos to download and watch while I am on a plane to go visit my kids. Just wanted to let you know, I'm still here and 💛-ing you.
As a guy ,probably one of the few , I have to say your voice amidst the flowers is calming, glad you have newness in your life. Love the fringe jacket.
I actually love to watch Elise’s videos in the morning with a cup of coffee because I find them very calming as well. It just sets the tone for the day and leaves me inspired to create.
Good day from California High Desert. I'm so happy to see you so happy today. First of all, I love what you are doing with your dining area. It is so you and I appreciate your steadfastness as you present your decore taste to us. You are so inspirational, and I'm so grateful to have found your channel. I'm so inspired to continue making my High Desert Cottage into what I want it to be. Love the vintage line. Keep up the good work, Elise.
Your vision for your dining room is coming together so beautifully. I love it. So excited to see the shop and all the wonderful things that will be there. Your videos are the first thought in my mind on Friday morning. I enjoy a cup of coffee and watching, it is so calm and relaxing. Now I am going to visit your web shop because I saw a lovely purse I would love to have. I am hoping it is still there. Have a great week and I'll see you Friday🌷
I can hardly wait until next time to see what you've come across on the country road! I love to find little out of the way places like this! Good luck if you decide to do a collaboration with her!
Very groovy baby! Loving the outfits and the singing brings back good memories 😊SUPER FUNKY AND GROOVY💕💖💕That gold dress is beautiful!!! Cheers from Oz 🦘
I like the new shelf the green will look nice!!! Your dining area will be quite cozy. I love your style and beautiful flower gardens. Your such a lovely young lady. I hope you have someone special in your life again. It’s a process. I always enjoy what you prepare for food. It gives me ideas. I live in the US in a small state alley Vermont. Our weather is a bit like yours sometimes. My nephew visited your country this last March with a school group. .He was so excited to go.
Lov, lov, lov the neutral color of your bench and think this would be perfect for your cabinet as well. This way, when entering the room, the eye will be drawn to (colors of) the content of the cabinet and the lovely surrounding objects / fabrics / colors, instead of cabinet first.
Hi Elise!! I think the plant will definitely look good in the corner!! The green dress on you looked beautiful!! Loved the embroidered bags!! Glad you found someone that could help you in buying vintage!! Take care sweet girl 💚❤️😊
Pretty finds! Hope you have a successful day in the studio. If you haven't been open for a while,, don't get discouraged if there is a low turnout. It takes time for people to find new places. Thinking positive for you!
I really liked your big hanging plant. I think she will thrive in your space. I'm so glad you met an equal. 🎉 cannot wait to see the cabinet with all your beautiful plates
Love the mustard yellow dress! It’s my favourite colour and it looks good on you. And the gold dress is amazing! So happy for your new partnership, it’s just what you need!❤❤
Your garden is like a dream. Lush, soft colors, green. In Oregon, we still have 3 months of nice weather to enjoy. But I still feel rain splashing around my ankles!
The gold dress makes me think of Bell from The Beauty and The Beast. I can see her spinning in dance wearing this dress. Those bags are beautiful, if there were one with just leaves. I might be tempted.😃 So glad you found someone to buy from, that inspires you. And gives a lift to your spirits. Summer is in full swing here in upstate NY, very hot and humid. The kind of days where if you think too hard the heat leaves you either sticky or dripping wet. Like living it the southern mid-west. Which I hated. Thankfully it has cooled down nice at night. Ahh, there is your lovely green, kind of knew you would fit it in someplace and I think it will be perfect. Oh, almost forgot. The mustard floral dress looks especially lovely on you, it is a keeper...and I think is called the baby doll style, but I might be wrong. It's a style I am very much drawn too.
Ahh Elise ! Happy news for you this week 💛:)) I like your new cabinet on the wall ...the banquette seating is even cozier with it Also....nice vintage finds ..."that gold dress"... but the happiest of news is you meeting a "kindred spirit", it was serendipity! That expression ,"kindred spirit" comes from the Anne of Green Gables series of books..a person who understands... without you having to explain. Someone who you feel comfortable with right away, secret soul sisters....
So Beautiful 💞 I love thrifting with you it's one of my favorite things to do everything looks Stunnings 🔥😮 thanks you so much for sharing with us all 🌞 have a wonderful evening and weekend 💞✨️
Always so exciting to see you pop up on Fridays. Great Video Elise. From your flower garden, to your beautiful newly lighted ding/ living rm. your vision for you dining room is coming together beautifully as all does from you. That plant is gorgeous, I’ve never seen one like it. I thought it looked great in the corner behind the bench. Can’t wait to see it all come together. You looked amazing in all that you tried on at thrift store. I especially loved the Mustard/ Green dress on you especially with the color of your hair. You style everything beautifully. I’ve got to get on your website and check everything out. Much love and always full of anticipation for the next Fri with Our Elise. Momma Karla in Oklahoma
I can’t wait to see how the whole room comes together. I love how the large mirror defines the cocktail area and you will have such a cozy dining area that will open up to a larger table when needed. Such a great use of space - love to see how this slowly comes together as you find just the right pieces for your decorating vision. 😊 until next time ❤ enjoy your rainy DIY weekend fun 😊
There is a plant called Pothos, it can have a variegated green and white leaves. Easy to grow indoor. Yes to the yellow dress. Perfect timing to meet the new way of sourcing and sharing Vintage
You requested Suggestions: run your inventory on a computer screen where it would constantly display the changing items. Place the screen hanging on the ,inside of the street walk window. Where the items can be seen from the walk way ( You know! When one walks away from the computer screen and the favorite photos circulate).
Hi Elis I like all the things you bought and the clothes are so beautiful I enjoin this video I think I will watch it again have been watching your videos for about ten years I watched you grow and proud of you iam nearly 70 years old.
That blue dress is beautiful and I also love that you selected a dress that is a little larger. It reminds me of the outfits from a show called Designing Women (in the US) that was from the 90's.
Hello Elise, your dining room turns out to be so cosy, and I am a fan of the color theme I love orange and green and by the way the wallpaper in your bedroom is so lovely - the birdies🤩 thank you for vlogging💖💖💖
Yes to the mustard dress!! I was having flash backs to my high school days with your groovy collection! Also I own many of the Indian long tunics that I wear as dresses with a lace full slip or skirt under(I often find them without the funky balloon pants). I love seeing you smiling again!!! I remember you being disappointed about that box of so called vintage and lamenting the availability of vintage stock. Then look how you run across that vintage shop with lovely owner who shares your passion. Coincidence? I think not!!❤
Your home is really lovely, the calming vibes from the plants are just what the doctor ordered! The foreo thingy sounds really cool too! I haven't tried that one yet but it sounds soo relaxing 😊
I’m so glad you got a cabinet! When I saw that empty space all I could think about was a cabinet on the wall. I love watching the space transform. It’s turning out beautiful!! Also very excited to get a peak of this retro shop and the endeavors to come with it. Beautiful video as always!
Hi . That's a Hoya plant , don't cut the long brown stems off , those are tendrils and new leaves grow on them . 😊 It's a gorgeous plant and when it blooms it smells amazing 😍
One of my favorite.😊
Thank you for your comment, I was about to write the same!
I love hoyas! I can't get over how big it is. It's beautiful! And, yes, don't cut the tendrils. They will reach for the light and work their way around the beam.

I have mentioned that too. The mirror would reflect the opposite of room where the windows are.
Same here. Maybe the other gold mirror over the mantel
Yes, many have suggested that. And the painting of the woman is more suitable for your dressing room or bedroom. A collage of mirrors would look wonderful on the two walls above the benches.
They are called ginger jars
I agree as well. It will also make the room look bigger
The pots with the lids are ginger pots. They where used to preserve the ginger.
To Store pickles also!! In India they called pickel jar or masala jar
Some of them are tea urns!!!
Jinger jars are what they’re called.
Also came to say they are ginger jars. Think of them like herb jars or preserving jars (usually sealed with wax))
I am so happy that you picked up that lovely poppy ceramic container - I think it is so beautiful. Good clothing finds that you made too. Mustard dress looks so pretty and comfortable. Yes I’ve seen that happen, it really spoils the finish.
Oh the brown stems on the vines are what the Hoya plants climbs with and then form new leaves on so you really shouldn't cut them off if you want it wrapping and growing around the beams.
It lost quite a lot of leaves in the untangle phase, so it was needed, looks a lit weird. It will grow new
Meeting the lady with the love of retro things was what we call "serendipity"....
I love that you use a tablecloth on your dining table. It is such a lovely way to add color and texture to a room, yet these days many people won’t use them-minimalism and all that. Your dining room is just lovely!

Ooooo THRIFTING with Elise 👏👏👏👏👏👏🥳🥳🤩 One of my all time favorite things 😁😁
Yayyy ❤️
It’s interesting how people turn up in your life just when you need them ❤❤
The plant (a Hoya) would be great hanging from the beam with a few vines ON the beam. It will climb along the beams!
I know it will, but I think it's too big tho
I absolutely adore you Elise , please try and never dought yourself and when down just remember how wonderful you are and how much your videos bring joy 😁
Amen to that. I could have written this
The bench: consider buying 4 body pillows and cover them with your favorite fabric and attach ties to wrap around the bench. Also. consider building two long tables that would fit behind the bench. something like what people put behind their couches .

Your thrift stores are fabulous. I would be in heaven.😊
Aren't they? Ugh. We barely have one per town here
Thank you. I love your imagination, creativity, and determination.
That Indian wall hanging is a toran-it always goes over doorways, you knew! It’s so beautiful ❤❤!!
Yes, I browsed it for Bohemian Wonders, so it can be purchased there
I was thinking the cabinet would look lovely in a pale lilac - so soft on the wall and delicate.
I’m glad you are going to hang the mirror on the wall with the olive tree, it bounces light into the room which is lovely❤ The cabinet will be a great addition.
OH my gosh, I love that floral sofa
Gorgeous!
I love how you take such good care of your space and make it beautiful as well. You are inspiring❤
Hoya Pubicalyx Super Splash, a beautiful pink wax flower. Hoyas are my favorite. They love light but not direct sunshine. Keep the soil chunky with more bark than soil.

Thaaanks ❤️
I can see the excitement in your face talking about your new friend with the vintage items!! I'm so happy for you.
I’m happy you met a retro friend 🌸🙌🏼✌🏼
You seem to be using all of your room now not just the one end. The skylights were a great idea. You have a lovely home.
Where the items can be seen from the walk way
( You know! When one walks away from the computer screen and the favorite photos circulate).
Hi Elis I like all the things you bought and the clothes are so beautiful I enjoin this video I think I will watch it again have been watching your videos for about ten years I watched you grow and proud of you iam nearly 70 years old.
Always look forward to seeing your new videos and projects ❤❤❤🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷😊
That blue dress is beautiful and I also love that you selected a dress that is a little larger. It reminds me of the outfits from a show called Designing Women (in the US) that was from the 90's.
Sounds like a plan. wishing you a beautiful and successful adventure with the business.
Hello Elise,
your dining room turns out to be so cosy, and I am a fan of the color theme I love orange and green
and by the way the wallpaper in your bedroom is so lovely - the birdies🤩
thank you for vlogging💖💖💖
Dear Elise, wish you success and all the best for your projects
Yes to the mustard dress!! I was having flash backs to my high school days with your groovy collection! Also I own many of the Indian long tunics that I wear as dresses with a lace full slip or skirt under(I often find them without the funky balloon pants). I love seeing you smiling again!!! I remember you being disappointed about that box of so called vintage and lamenting the availability of vintage stock. Then look how you run across that vintage shop with lovely owner who shares your passion. Coincidence? I think not!!❤
YOur home is coming together beautifully.. Can hardly wait to see what you do each week.. Enjoy this week
Your home is really lovely, the calming vibes from the plants are just what the doctor ordered! The foreo thingy sounds really cool too! I haven't tried that one yet but it sounds soo relaxing 😊
Your dining room is looking lovely.
I loved the mini dress on you its adorable.
I forgot it was Friday so it was a lovely treat when your video popped up.
I’m so glad you got a cabinet! When I saw that empty space all I could think about was a cabinet on the wall. I love watching the space transform. It’s turning out beautiful!! Also very excited to get a peak of this retro shop and the endeavors to come with it. Beautiful video as always!
My grandmother had a few of those jars. She called them ginger jars, and said they used to store spices in them years ago.💕
That gold dress is absolutely stunning ❤❤Love the new cabinet and the vision for the dining area.
You are such an inspiring lady❤😊
