Dodge Charger MK III no. 52 Matchbox restoration Diecast car making parts, 1972

Dodge Charger MK III is a cult model from the Matchbox stable, it was produced in the years 1970-1976. My copy is from 1972. These models had a technological defect, which was the mismatch between the windscreen and the cockpit. Most of these cars are now deprived of these windows because they quickly fell out, broke or were unnaturally lowered. My Dodge was complete. I made a new glass for it by the method of vacuum pressing. I chose a paint which first consisted of the base metallic silver color, which was later applied to a colorless car paint dyed with green dye.

Does the windshield forming process require such large spaces between the forms? Could you get more parts from one sheet of plastic if they were closer together or do you need to have that much separation to get a quality result?
