One small that needs adding Steve, a safety chain to the smoke box door to stop it opening too wide and fouling or striking something. I saw this at Minehead forty years ago, the fireman took the chain off the door to shovel ash out, the smokebox door swung right out, as this happened the driver moved the loco forward, the door struck the front of the loco shed and bent the hinges very badly. The engine was out of service for nearly a week and this caused trains to be cancelled.
The lining isn't as good as I wanted it to be, it's a fiddly job that requires good eyes as steady hand and lots of patience , but overall it looks very good and it runs well.
A great looking loco, Steve.. did you use a paint pen to apply the gold around the cab windows? Or is it plain brass? I'm just starting to line out my Standard 5

Fantastic work Steve you must be really proud of the final outcome.
All the best.
