Victoria's in the same place which is why she's involved in the "mating dance" during the Jellical Ball (that is, btw, a big reason for you to shut up). Canon couples don't matter in Cats because it tends to vary between productions. The original Braodway version pairs Demeter with Alonzo instead of Munkustrap for example. More importantly, none of the characters are real, so it doesn't really matter how old Mistoffelees is or who Tugger is with canonically. If someone wants to ship him with Tugger, they can do so.

Yeah, that's what I'm referring to. Most of the songs' actual endings melt into the transitions. What I imagine happened is that they had to cut the transitions out, resulting in cutting the ending of the songs out as well. Of course, I could be wrong, but this is just what I think is why the endings are cut off.
There was no official soundtrack ever released of this movie. This person just recorded the audio from the DVD, and had to cut off the ends, since they all transition into the next.

The movie version of the song was basically going up to a birthday magician and saying "Hey kid, we need you to out-magic this demonic archmage, or the world as we know it will come to an end. We've only got like 5 minutes, can you do it?"
