Great video, seems like a super easy controller to implement in hardware very cheaply. How do you derive the cost function for a real system, say a SISO transfer function?
I don't get how this works in real life with nonlinearity and noise and delays etc. Those oscillations in the control signal are nasty
this is a bad control method, it cant handle dynamics at all and is basically a oscillating I-part of a PID made in a overly complicated way.
