I like how you inspect the cars. Yes you learned from that last car, but I know you can put back together anything you want . It would take you a lit more elbow grease but you're the man to do it. Whatever you choose, I'm with ya on the build.. Love it..
Love that you still read all the comments Dr. Vlad. Something about the intro music just makes my day better! Let's goooo!!!! Thanks for all your hard work and enjoy the content with your family, very wholesome stuff
You dodged a bullet Vlad! If it doesn’t feel right, it ain’t worth it. Just wait it out a little more and the special car will pop up. There isn’t a rush for it man. Good luck!
One more great video👏👏👏 This car shows the real business of auction, and wrong behavior to potential customers. How is possible car in this condition to be on the auction?! However, the video was very useful for all🙌🏻 Thanks Vlad, you are number 1 in the business👍
Greetings from Europe, Vlad :) Nice and informative video again. Its shocking how the previous paint job was made on such nice vehicle. Is it quite often such vehicles with clean history and hidden previous damage? Just bought two Porsches from Copart and one vehicle marked as ''enchanted'' was perfect condition (saloon as new) and the other was with already roof painted and the previous damage was not marked in Carfax history:) Both bought from insurance company.
We know Dr Vlad would have made it better than new. You’d also have to change the interior color. White with black interior is the best. Looking forward to whatever you find. Prayers to you and your fam!
I have been viewing your channel for a while... it's been great especially for mechanics just starting...I have a video suggestion I haven't seen a G-wagon rebuild on RUclips, is it possible?
It's not bad body work, it's an auction scam. They buy from copart a sideswiped car, body and paint with paint brush and send it back through the auction as a 3rd party seller.
Good you stayed clear from this garbage! This car was really scary! I also noticed really badly scratched rims on the front and the tires OMG. Definitely not a good deal for $30k. The oil overfill is a bummer, the color of the oil is also completely off, it could have a major issue with the engine, too risky! Honestly I just can't believe how it is even possible to do such bad repair, never seen this ever and it's an S-Klasse 🙈 Can't also believe someone gave $30k for this... Good luck with your search, I wish you to find a good one you'll like!
I found the same model & year car in Texas for 51,440.00. It's white with black interior. No damage just a nice used car. 48830 for miles. The dealer is called Auto Web Expo
Great video Vlad. It saddens me to know that people get an expensive car like the S Class Mercedes and then get cheap and shitty body work to repair it. Also why do the salvage yards throw all the parts into the leather interiors where they basically ruin a good interior that doesn't make sense IMHO.
Yeah, it is hit and miss at CoPart these days. But approaching it this way gives you some fresh air and you might spot something that is not on the block yet and can reserve it in your mind - as long as they don't steal half the parts off of it in the lot.... I would only buy a supercar unseen, and even then the CoPart needs to have a good reputation or I would still pass. Parts are not cheap, waiting is not cheap while the inventory sits in the shop or on your own lot prone to damages there as well.
the oil is to sketchy, the body work, yes you are correct. they shouldn't be doing body work. if you could have gotten the car for 20-22,500. that would have been a good buy. i think you did good , by walking away. love your videos , take care and see you on the next one.
Just had this happen to me. Bought a car from fresno sight unseen from IAA with a clean car fax. Once it arrived here in LA the car was full of bondo, hey you win some you lose some.
You made the right call. The oil looks milky which is not a good sign. You don't know how bad the engine is. The car is a monèt. Looks good from from far away but bodywork looks terrible up close. Also, the car has Nebula tires on it. Like come on bro. I run Michelins on my beat up cars. If the owner took care of the car, he would've put Michelin, Contiental, or Pirellis. Long story short, someone was balling on a budget with this car. You can pick up a 2019 S450 any day of the week for 50grand with like 30-40k miles out of state. You would literally need to buy the car for like 15-20grand to make it worth your time. Salvage title will decrease the value right away by 15-30% so it’s a headache that’s not worth it! Thanks for the insight !
so it didn't go well with getting a car again. But you are right, I have no doubt that you can fix any car than again if a car was fixed bad before you will not put your name on the car. have fun finding another one. take care my friend. 🤗
Another great informative video. Like most other viewers, I agree on skipping that build. Keep the Vlogs coming Dr. Vlad, we do appreciate them.....✌Vee-Darnya😁
I would run a mile away from that one, trying to get the bodywork right atfer a bad repair is so difficult and takes forever too do . When buying cars i used to physically look at every vehicle unless i could trust the sellers discription which was very rare .
A 2019 S Class that was probably parked/garaged for most of 2020, 2021 & part of 2022 because of the Covid lock down looks completely trashed. The previous owner obviously has more money than sense.
That thing lived a hard few years. Poor repairs and mismatched tires shows its owner didn't care.....or didn't have the money to really take care if it. Sad.
I just don't get it, why do they keep throwing these parts in those expensive interiors??? You don't need to have a university degree to understand this will for sure destroy the interior! And what about storing these top dollar cars just in open air with no windows no more?? Do these auctions get these cars for free from insurances or what is happening? To me it looks like wrecks with still high values going to no value in just 1 rainy day !? And why are these wrecks partially dismantled, like what's the use of removing the headlights of this car and throwing them in the trunk? Maybe i'm stupid but i just don't see the business model here. Store this cars and parts the correct way and profit is straight plus 10000 dollars i would think?
That S-Class has all the earmarks of a Rental. From awful paint to mismatched tires and too much oil in engine. Way too much work and money.
gotta love "Bodywork was either done in a parking lot or in Tijuana..."
I like how you inspect the cars. Yes you learned from that last car, but I know you can put back together anything you want . It would take you a lit more elbow grease but you're the man to do it. Whatever you choose, I'm with ya on the build.. Love it..
Couldn't have said it any better. BIG +1 !
Love that you still read all the comments Dr. Vlad. Something about the intro music just makes my day better! Let's goooo!!!! Thanks for all your hard work and enjoy the content with your family, very wholesome stuff
You're statement about selling a good car to your customers means a lot to a potential customer!
You dodged a bullet Vlad! If it doesn’t feel right, it ain’t worth it. Just wait it out a little more and the special car will pop up. There isn’t a rush for it man. Good luck!

I'm with you... nothing there looked worthwhile to me.... Support from England 🙏
3:57 that's a beautiful frame right there! May be an idea for a future video - some care/love for the c230 that always comes to the rescue?
Hey LNC, would love to see a new paint job and detail on the c class 👍👍👍
Right decision. Don't forget to add auction fees to your total. What about the E class coupe next to it? These are gorgeous cars.

Thanks for taking us along...at the end of the day you are right...just too much work
Sure appreciate you, Vlad, your skills, honesty, integrity and for sharing this with us all! God bless!
2019 S450 and so beat up plus you dont know what engine is like. Wise decicion man. Big Up!
I am from sunny south africa i love your work. Awesome channel keep it up
vlad, is it worthwhile having a head mounted camera? you already do great with one hand.
I like that WAYS you make right decisions and choices. On 2019 Mercedes you made excellent decision.
Vlad, you did the right thing. Who knows what's going on with that engine.
We know Dr Vlad would have made it better than new. You’d also have to change the interior color. White with black interior is the best. Looking forward to whatever you find. Prayers to you and your fam!
I’m learning alot about how to buy a car especially if it feels good or it doesn’t feel good
I have been viewing your channel for a while... it's been great especially for mechanics just starting...I have a video suggestion I haven't seen a G-wagon rebuild on RUclips, is it possible?
I love this new way of doing things… keep it coming.

great review of trouble in the auction

Luv seeing all the Benz's bro. I luv a nice Mercedes Benz AMG🔥keep em coming👍🏽
Dr Vlad I’m still waiting for my hoodie brother lol I live for your content
Just had this happen to me. Bought a car from fresno sight unseen from IAA with a clean car fax. Once it arrived here in LA the car was full of bondo, hey you win some you lose some.
9:21 👈🏼😂 They painted that car with a brush !! 🤦🏻♂️
Great detailed cost analysis video 👍

Another good call, Vlad! I want you to get me a really nice S550 some day!
Love this type of video, good stuff Vlad
Very Wise Decision
I respect your decision.
If I were in USA I’d buy a car off you.
To fix it 100 percent,at that price with all of the things that "have" to get fixed,i would have done the same thing Vlad.
so it didn't go well with getting a car again. But you are right, I have no doubt that you can fix any car than again if a car was fixed bad before you will not put your name on the car. have fun finding another one. take care my friend. 🤗
You did good on going to look at it. It had to be in more then 2 accidents .
Another great informative video. Like most other viewers, I agree on skipping that build. Keep the Vlogs coming Dr. Vlad, we do appreciate them.....✌Vee-Darnya😁
Super happy to see you back with another epic video 😊
Thank you. Looking at these cars through your eyes and hearing what you look for really helps.
you damge the the door panel of by fender 🤣♥️
Wonderful content 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome video again Dr Vlad❤ so much love from Pakistan🇵🇰
Always some banger videos man! Keep it up👍
Appreciate it! 👊🏻
Love these new informational videos
With the headlights I would just replace the headlight lens if possible.
Great video’s greetings from Amsterdam
Love your content man you have great quality videos and do a great job. Keep it up!
It only cost a little more to either fix it the right way or just replace it completely.
I think you've done a clever move. That car has too many red flags. I can't believe it's a 2019 model with so many issues.
That looks so much like a scam car, glad you didn't buy it. Your gut feeling is great Vlad!!
goes to show you clean title doesn't always mean good, salvage title doesn't always mean bad!
Why not use laminated windscreens instead of old fashioned glass ?
You made the right decision on that one
I would run a mile away from that one, trying to get the bodywork right atfer a bad repair is so difficult and takes forever too do . When buying cars i used to physically look at every vehicle unless i could trust the sellers discription which was very rare .
Vlad forget that 2019!!!ALAN
smart choice vlad!🤔👍
You made thiy awesome decision by not buying Mercedes/ a bad body work 😊and I like you awesome decision making 😊👌👍👍👍👍👍
You did the best decision 😊
Nice Mercedes, but has many damage. Excelent video
You are missing the action fees, the cleaning fee
Да. Машина несколько раз была на ремонте до этого видно
Смотрю с удовольствием твои видео озвучивай прайс ремонта как здесь это актуально привет из Белоруссии!
A 2019 S Class that was probably parked/garaged for most of 2020, 2021 & part of 2022 because of the Covid lock down looks completely trashed. The previous owner obviously has more money than sense.
Glad u pass this up to much work for the money kinda of sketchy
did you haver consider to buy a diferent car, maybe another brand?
The auction guys don't give a F they just throw the bumpers in the backseat on the leather 😄
As usuals you have a viewer here in Indonesia
Nice job walking away , that was going to be a big headache.
Wow I think they ruined the rear shades when they put all the bumpers and fenders in the back
Hi Vlad, I would pass on it!
Interesting video😮 I think I can’t find similar channels in RUclips about such a professional details for car repair 👨🔧
Dosvidanya to that Benz forever 😂
Как всегда супер видео Благодарю 🙏
But why did the body parts removed ?
That thing lived a hard few years. Poor repairs and mismatched tires shows its owner didn't care.....or didn't have the money to really take care if it. Sad.
Good day , the best is to walk away,
Waiting for next video
С таким качеством предыдущих ремонтов, подводных камней будет много
Hope you find one sir😊
What's the market value of this one
Great video. Sketchy AF car
Hello bro im from Morocco 😊
I have c180 2005 kompressor , w203
Bad deal specioly bad body work ,
Dos vidanya
Peace
That car is a solid pass more trouble than it’s worth
This mercedes is the reason people hate rebuilt cars, cause of shops and owners cutting corners just to save a couple bucks
Learned this the very, very hard way 😢
Why you didn't get a W218 CLS at auction: 🔥 We know what happened after you touch the car 🔥
I just don't get it, why do they keep throwing these parts in those expensive interiors??? You don't need to have a university degree to understand this will for sure destroy the interior! LNC💪
Влад, очень правильное решение не брать этот Мерседес, точно что-то мутное. Сделано ужасно, даже на видео видно ... Интуиция 👍
You made good decision by not buying Mercedes awesome decision making.
Do you have new builds new week new builds I don't see them posted
i think they used sand and beton to repair this car
Good thing you left it alone
What is aution
