Nice to finally see footage of this game that isn't a deathless speedrun nor have commentary over it. This would help archive the game to prevent it from being lost media. Still sad the PC release was canceled and the game was clearly rushed before Paramount Pictures lost the video game rights to The War of the Worlds with them reverting back to Jeff Wayne, the guy who owns most of the copyrights to The War of the Worlds until 2016, in 2012 as part of a copyright trade they did him back in 2003 to get the 2005 Steven Spielberg movie made. Had the game got more time and proper QA testing or at least gotten the planned PC release on Steam for modders to make balancing patches, it could have been a really great game like the underrated Jeff Wayne's The War of the Worlds (1998) RTS PC game. Also, I would like to point out, on the final level you can kill the Martian chasing you with the axe. If you can time the axe swing correctly as the Martian comes near you, you can stun it in one hit and skip to the end of the level without having to use the compressor.
I agree but it is absolutely impossible to not die in this game, after the guy playing finished i dont think he wanted to edit after the 5 hour hell he endured
Never heard of this one to bad the player kept geting vaperized or eaten. An interesting rendition not bad but not perfect, miles better than Grey skys miles better, imagine this in 3d. Love the use of all 3 marsian machines, the red weed, the black smock, the probes and of course the aliens them selves. I don't think the book mentioned land mines or doomsday towers though currect me if I'm wrong. I do find the artists impression of what the inside of the cylinder looks like interesting. Another gripe I have is the fact that we don't see the aliens sooner but it atleast had the build up to the tripods revile which Grey skys lacks so I'll let that slide.
How did you found demo? Please I want at least try demo, I searching this game too, on xbox 360 but I never find it so I want at least demo, Please I would be verry happy try at least demo
@@xenotheone1689 yes unless I rgh my xbox. I did so, I was able to play it. I found that trying to emulate the game was a nightmare and I couldn't get past the 4th level. I think we can figure out a way to maybe decompile the game and modify it that way, I probably don't know what I'm talking about but I think we can do it.

This is one of the few good games of The War of the Worlds, it takes place in england, not victorian era I think, but at least it’s in England.

If you have an RGH modded console, you can patch it to the full game. I don't think you can buy it anymore but I may be wrong.
