Dee when you are in a bad area and a crime happens, the last thing you should be doing is asking what happened and filming. David asked you were you filming and once he saw you was he kept saying he doesn't know what happened and then he even tried to get your mind off of the situation by pointing out a painting in the store on the wall but you were obsessed with finding out what happened. Even when the old lady began talking to you, you could hear the other women yelling to her to make her stop talking to you on that camera. When people who live in a dangerous area are acting like that its because they know what happened and know that if they speak on it, the same thing that happened to the woman will happen to them.. David and that old woman live there, if word got out that they were on the internet telling everyone what happened, the police would be looking for them for questions and if that crime was gang related then the gang would be looking for them as well for not minding their business. Keep in mind that evil always lurks in the shadows not in the light for all to see. Just because u don't see it doesn't mean it isn't there. If you shine your spotlight on it, you may regret what comes next. Never go looking for trouble because eventually it will find you. I am happy to see the Water Front and the art on the walls... Enjoy yourself in Jamaica ... Kingston is the smallest parish out of 14. ❤❤❤Jamaica 🇯🇲
@@DeeMwango 99% chance it was domestic violence and not some random act. If one keeps their head out of other's business, chances are slim to be violent crime victims. That being said, pick-pockets and snatch and grab, knows no boundaries. I once witnessed a young man pulling an old lady while trying to get her bag. She held on long enough and a mob caught the thief and he wished he was never born.
@DeeMwango I want David to take you the ladies on the sidewalk salons and nail techs on Princess Street and Barry Street, then try 2 tastee patties or patty and cocoa bread....you were comfortable with the people on the streets "Cho man star" We ❤️ you and you family and our Village Nyabohanse, Kenya.
Actually I believe that Montego Bay is smaller, trust me, especially the town..as in all other parishes. Kingston is not that small because it is Kingston and St. Andrew together.
@@chosenlamb9595 I am surprised that even Marwa did not try a patty in Jamaica, because I see them passing Tastees in Half Way Tree while looking for something to eat. I know they are not big meat eaters, but there is a different patty for all preferences.
Dee, l never laughed so hard as l.did with this vlog. That bus ride was more than a roller coster ride. They are the same thing when l go. I rent a car and get a relative to drive me. Like you said my heart would certainly have an event. Girl. you are the best traveller. You were made for adaptation. I loved when you asked can l see your kitchen, those men showed you they have nothing to hide. I loved that you didn't judge them. My girlfriend daughters when to a very posh restaurant here in my town in US and they had some kind sandwiches and after her first bite a live maggot was crawling out of the lettuce and tomato. Imagine that in a develope country. Those people there are checked by the health department and they will shut them down before you can blink.
i love eating in small restraunts because the food never remains and its always fresh unlike posh restraunts they keep food in freezers for soo long. Special shout out To Michael for letting me inside the kitchen. I love Jamaica. Well the bus ride Was a life time adventure hahaha unforgatable
@@DeeMwango Dee, please don't despair, l see the light of God walking with you and Marwa. When you have a pure heart like you two have, you live with Grace and Mercy. Believe me, l just retired from the Police Department here in my city and see a lot of things. The way those people look out for you. You will be fine. I even encourage a family to come here in the US and he did. However, he was killed in an armed robbery in his place of business here in the US. My own father was injured and hospitalized here in the US for 13 days. These two family members operated businesses in Jamaica and was never victimized. Go figure. Those are unfortunate events that happened daily here in my town in USA 🇺🇸. I no longer go out late at night. Just use common sense. I just finished watching a RUclipsr warning visitors to NYC about the latest scams running. So, they are everywhere due to drugs, mental illness, lack of having a spiritual life. Sin have taken over some people's life. As we say in Jamaica, Walk good.
Blessings Dee, I see you met some nice friends to hang out with, thank you again for bringing us along on your trip to Jamaica, I can see you are having an amazing time, big up 👍🌹😀🔥🇯🇲🇯🇲.
St Lucia 🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨 is a beautiful place and amazing hotel room and definitely delicious food and drink to relax your mind so just come and visit st Lucia one day Dee Dee
There is always a connection Dee, things don't happen for no reason . Be careful and don't ask any questions like you were doing, it's not advisable. Just don't go to places that seems lonely
I was like why she being so nosey. If a man can shoot a girl in front of everyone in daylight. Imagine what they will do to you for digging and being nosey.
Queen Dee I can see you are having a good time in my country Jamaica. I see you getting warm welcome n your are happy love the vibes. Thanks to David for taking you around. Blessings David ❤️ 💕 ❤❤.
What do you need to know is mind your own business when you’re in Jamaica again and only ask you things about who shooting who you’ll put yourself into problems. Keep moving until you’re sure before you get yourself into problems you’re asking too many questions that’s why the man who is with you doesn’t want to answer the question because he knows what time it is never asked questions just keep moving it’s not your business👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is true Dee. See and blind, hear and deaf. Love your vlog gf, but you shouldn't be asking so much questions and being persistent as to why things happened when you go into one's country. I'm sure in Africa whichever province things like this happened, you couldn't be asking so much questions. You could have gotten the people you're with in trouble and the fact that you are walking with a camera. Next time Dee don't ask ppl things while doing your videos.
Girl I am from Jamaica and I live in New York, but I personally would not take those chances you are talking especially down town. I give you props my sister you’re one brave young lady. 2 years ago I went downtown with my daughter who lives in Jamaica and I almost got robbed. The chances you’re taking down there is phenomenal. Big up yourself be safe and be very careful not everyone that is smile and greeting you means you well. Good luck stay safe and be very careful. I love your videos.
@@jjjamellI live in NY and feel safe. But of course I am not taking risk walking in the bad areas. I take the train late night coming from the city and never had issues in Bklyn. But I am sure it depends where in Bklyn. Some parts I don’t go. I am from Frankfield Clarendon and I won’t go back becauce of the badness in that area now. I am too afraid. Many yrs ago it was so peaceful there. I only got something stolen from me once in that area at a store I rest my phone on a counter and someone snatch it while I wasn’t looking.
This clearly explains why a lot of people kept on saying you have to be careful, anything can happen anywhere ....then again who knows better that the locals. At this point after hearing what happened at the Craft Market it should not be harped on continually. Life goes on.......
Dee is a smart and intelligent woman who doesn't need everyone telling her the same thing. She is very well aware it could happen in her own country or anywhere else for that matter 🤔
@@elainebrown3546 Well if being smart and intelligence is all she needs then all her other videos she should go any and everywhere, wherever she choose without anyone escorting or showing her the ins and out of any neighborhood in Jamaica.....by herself....... Before she go on her self-chosen escapades have her watch the news by herself......exercise her smarts and intelligence then go out alone..........An intelligent and smart traveler 99% of the time rely on the citizen of a country even if Google says otherwise and occurred incidents are not shown..........Everyone maybe telling her the same thing........... That's because everyone cares and are concerned. Baby girl freaked out at Craft Market and she did not witness the situation........REALITY CHECK.....time to think smartly and intelligently.
OMG!!! DeeMwango, you're a riot. You have me so bursting with laughter and joy in my heart to see you and hear your laughter, it's such a joy to see happy people. You're so fearless and that's good vibes. God bless you and go with you wherever you go. Love from Trinidad. MissJay/Granny Jackie. 🙏🥳🥰🙌💝🕊️✝️
I was born and grew up in Jamaica, but have been downtown no more than two dozen times to get a bus connection to and from my real destination. I heard that my mother worked in that same Crafts Market after high school. She was a good seamstress and after moving to New York, worked for years at an Opera house as a costume maker before moving to Florida.
Miss Dee:Congratulations to you on your 2nd new remarkable video today’s from Kingston, Jamaica to shows this amazing places “Downtown Kingston” Jamaica this weekend in September of 2023❤❤❤
I wish you safe journeys & good Luck to you always from Kingston, Jamaica this weekend in peace 2023❤❤❤Welcome to Montego Bay & Kingston, Jamaica 2023❤❤❤
Dee ...Sorry that you experienced that . Now you know why there were so many police. officers. I am happy you weren't in the area when the girl got hurt because you have a camera filming . You put yourself at risk. Please do not ask questions at the scene of a crime ,you put yourself and other at risk. Leave the scene immediately. Talk about it when you get home. Read Body language, David was diverting you away from the scene , but you were not reading his body language. Please do not go back to that area.
Great advice. She doesn't want to capture a crime in her vlog. I would just avoid drama prone areas at risk of becoming a witness in a criminal case. Serious repercussions to think about from her experience. 🤔
Dee I was literally fearing for you when you started asking questions about the girl coz I could see David was not willing to talk about it.Please when you encounter such a thing come out of that place immediately coz you don't know whether the people who shoot the girl are in the crowd .Anyway may the Lord always protect you .

In Dee's short stay so far, she has managed to capture the whole essence of what Jamaica and Jamaicans are about. Unfortunately she will learn quickly the the ills of Jamaican society -->violence. The best Jamaican food you will find is from those little shacks!
Dee, loving your flogs but the way you felt on the bus is how I feel watching you walking around down town. There is a saying “those who can’t hear will feel” I pray for your safety, continue to have fun, please look after yourself❤❤

What happened in the Craft Market can happen anywhere in the world, and it is not an everyday occurrence. It's just unfortunate. For some people, it is being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and Dee wasn't there. Thank god.
I like her but this lady is hard headed. But you known what they say. A hard head make for a soft behind. These are natives Jamaicans are telling her to be careful yet she is not heeding and laughing at everything. You don’t have to be afraid but not being aloof and naive is crazy.
Be careful Dee. And your dizziness could almost have been due to heat stroke. It can be with quite dangerous, so remember to drink enough fluids. A hat wouldn't be bad either. Br. Your fan from Finland 🙏
Dee, when people are warning about downtown, its not because they are stupid. When I heard you in your previous video I was like Dee is being naive, but hopefully all will be well. This was a wake up call. Anyway continue to enjoy Jamaica but be aware.
The lady who kept telling you what had just happened was trying hard to make you turn back. She is definitely a good person. Those two who told you all to enter at the other end are no good. They wanted you to spend money so they made sure you wouldn’t see signs of the incident. You should have walked out immediately. I think that getting dizzy and stopping for the coconut was meant to happen so you wouldn’t get there before you did. God is real. I’m glad you got a great video and got home safe. May God bless that lady who tried to make you leave.
Please check out the Waterfront in Downtown, Kingston. You will behold the seventh largest natural harbour in the world, The Bank of Jamaica building, The National Gallery of Jamaica. There's the Digicel building with many restaurants, Check out Gloria's restaurant elsewhere on the Waterfront for the best Seafood meals. While you're in Kingston, please check out Devon House, Emancipation Park, Hope Gardens, Rockfort Mineral Bath, Port Royal, to name a few.
I said it on your last video, God has a special protection on the Mwango family. Many times these shootings and killings are personal issues however why would someone go into the craft market to shoot another person, they could have hurt someone else. Thank God you all are safe.
Dee well done you know how to overlook the charm and sweet tongue of the Jamaican men like the one who sat in the drivers seat pretending to be the driver. There are brilliant drivers in Jamaica. Not all drivers drive as fast but certainly the public bus drivers should not be driving as fast as he did. I can see you are able to survive in any cultural environment and appreciate the best that the environment offers. You are also very empathetic of the poor and disenfrantised and can see the strength/weakness and gift/beauty in everyone you meet.
Hi Dee. Welcome to beautiful Jamaica where I was born but lived in the the UK since I was a little girl. I’m really enjoying your videos. Dee I must say when you have a local taking you around they are expected to be treated to food. I must say you are very brave because I would not go down town it’s always a dangerous place. Sorry about your bad experience. One love.

I really LOVE your new remarkable videos this weekend from Montego Bay & Downtown Kingston,Jamaica in September of 2023❤❤❤Keeps on the good works on these videos 2023❤❤❤
So sorry you had to experience something so sad and dangerous. The craft market is kind of isolated, away from the hustle and bustle, hence things like that will unfortunately, happen there from time to time 😢
Hi brave Dee! I truly love your spirits and would really like to acquaint myself to you, you're so much stronger than I could ever be. Are you a nomad? I have noted your many travels...must be a very interesting endeavour. My presidency is in Canada and I am female, older than your mom 😊, and was born in Jamaica. I am happy to see the Water Front and the art on the walls... Enjoy yourself in Jamaica ... Kingston is the smallest parish out of 14. ❤❤❤Jamaica 🇯🇲
Thanks soo much i appreciate i was just scared a little bit but yes every country has the bad and the good side. Otherwise God bless Jamaica
@DeeMwango I want David to take you the ladies on the sidewalk salons and nail techs on Princess Street and Barry Street, then try 2 tastee patties or patty and cocoa bread....you were comfortable with the people on the streets "Cho man star"
We ❤️ you and you family and our Village Nyabohanse, Kenya.
We also say “ see and blind hear and deaf”.
The real deal. I love the places away from the 5 star resorts and development constructed for pampered travelers.
Dee is tasting the true Jamaica. 🇯🇲
I agree
@ednaedwards3313 im not a tourist I'm a traveller and so I want to experience the real jamaica the local way!
So true! I get anxious for her. Love her vibes though. I pray for her every day.
Welcome dee to our country we are one and you are always welcome to our country
Blessings Dee, I see you met some nice friends to hang out with, thank you again for bringing us along on your trip to Jamaica, I can see you are having an amazing time, big up 👍🌹😀🔥🇯🇲🇯🇲.
Thanks soo Much yes im enjoying i love Jamaica it has been my dream country for years
St Lucia 🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨 is a beautiful place and amazing hotel room and definitely delicious food and drink to relax your mind so just come and visit st Lucia one day Dee Dee
Welcome to Jamaica 🇯🇲 finally you are here ❤❤💖💖💕💕♥️🙏🙏🙏👍
Queen Dee I can see you are having a good time in my country Jamaica. I see you getting warm welcome n your are happy love the vibes. Thanks to David for taking you around. Blessings David ❤️ 💕 ❤❤.

Love how you represent us David . Nuff respect .
Am glad I get the opportunity to show the world that good people are still in Jamaica🇯🇲 nuff love 🤜🏾🤛🏿
David you are the best.
@@normacoote9856thank you!
Did that upset me! She should have ran for her life. So NAIVE… WOW!
But parts of Kenya is also dangerous especially tge Big City, nutten new
My name is, Ernel i enjoy all your videos. I'm from Jamaica but i lives in the USA.
Thanks soo much i really appreciate
Happy to know you reached home safely.

Dee happy to see that you are safe 🙏 God is with you, no one will trouble you ❤
Girl I am from Jamaica and I live in New York, but I personally would not take those chances you are talking especially down town.
Thanks soo much!! I'm hardening up like a real jamaican now❤❤
Lmfao 🤣 😂 you feel safe in New York? It nuh safe nowhere... I never get robbed in jamaica, I move to America and get robbed by people with guns 🔫
@@jjjamell Wow!
With that Jamaica 🇯🇲 shirt on they not going to do anything to her they don't bother foreigners
This clearly explains why a lot of people kept on saying you have to be careful, anything can happen anywhere ....then again who knows better that the locals. At this point after hearing what happened at the Craft Market it should not be harped on continually. Life goes on.......
Trust me ,Dee will still go somewhere else even if they warned her not to go to a certain area or neighbourhood.
"Niggas get shot everyday B"
Dee I admire your bravery. Glad you are enjoying Jamaica.
Im hardening up my heart here in Jamaica

I was born and grew up in Jamaica, but have been downtown no more than two dozen times to get a bus connection to and from my real destination. I heard that my mother worked in that same Crafts Market after high school. She was a good seamstress and after moving to New York, worked for years at an Opera house as a costume maker before moving to Florida.
Miss Dee:Congratulations to you on your 2nd new remarkable video today’s from Kingston, Jamaica to shows this amazing places “Downtown Kingston” Jamaica this weekend in September of 2023❤❤❤
Thanks soo much For watching i really appreciate God bless
David was being very diplomatic but Dee was not getting his signals. Get the F... out of there, then react later!

Exactly!!!Unfortunately we were raised with these survival skills.@@Datz-Donna
Dee I was literally fearing for you when you started asking questions about the girl coz I could see David was not willing to talk about it.Please when you encounter such a thing come out of that place immediately coz you don't know whether the people who shoot the girl are in the crowd .Anyway may the Lord always protect you .
Thank you David for being a gentleman.
This was a wonderful video despite the unfortunate insistence at market like u said Gods Angels are with you. Keep enjoying your time.

In Dee's short stay so far, she has managed to capture the whole essence of what Jamaica and Jamaicans are about. Unfortunately she will learn quickly the the ills of Jamaican society -->violence.
The best Jamaican food you will find is from those little shacks!
Obviously, you don't live on Earth because every country has some form of violence and crime
We all wanna know something new in Jamaica and experience something new in Jamaica

Dee, when people are warning about downtown, its not because they are stupid. When I heard you in your previous video I was like Dee is being naive, but hopefully all will be well. This was a wake up call. Anyway continue to enjoy Jamaica but be aware.

Good afternoon Dee, happy Saturday, stay safe,
Thanks David for aiding our sister. Really appreciate you my brother. We are glad to have our Indian visitor also. Fuljoy yourselves.

Jamaicans do NOT like people talking over their food, Dee. They are being really kind to you.
Yes Michael Gave me the permission which i really appreciate.
That is so true
No one spitting over my food dear😊
You tell her. That's a No, No. We don't like people touching our food.
You are a very smart lady intelligent and sensitive you will survived there just be safe take I wish I could talk to you in person on your live chat
Dee you are very brave don’t worry Jamaicans take care of foreigners, we are good people! Blessed love ❤🇯🇲
Yep. Use wisdom throughout your travels. Stay safe, and thanks for sharing your experiences.
Amen!
Big up Dee. The video was a whole vibe until the craft market ending. Jah Jah🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Amazing artwork! Thanks Dee for such a wonderful well rounded tour of downtown Kingston. Bless up and stay safe.
I said it on your last video, God has a special protection on the Mwango family. Many times these shootings and killings are personal issues however why would someone go into the craft market to shoot another person, they could have hurt someone else. Thank God you all are safe.
I am so tense watching you. God bless
Thank you for showing our country beautiful Jamaica very nice am from may pen Clarendon. Live in Canada
Hi Dee. Welcome to beautiful Jamaica where I was born but lived in the the UK since I was a little girl. I’m really enjoying your videos.
