1:45:05 There’s this misconception that RE3 wasn’t supposed to be part 3. People think that Code Veronica was originally supposed to be part 3 but got pushed back too far, hence why nemesis took it’s place. The reality is that Code Veronica was always supposed to just be it’s own game exclusive to the Dreamcast and was never supposed to be “Resident Evil 3”. It was more that RE3 Nemesis, which was originally supposed to be a spin-off game “last escape”, got reworked and then expanded upon and became what is now known as the ps1 Resident Evil 3. I also find it hilarious that still to this day he dismisses RE3 because he wasted ink ribbons for every room he cleared and blew himself up in the park by shooting a HUGE RED BARREL. RE3 mechanically had so much great things going for it: the dodge system, quick turns, ammo mixing, Nemesis, choice system and the random locations on items giving huge amounts of replayability etc… But he prefers original ps1 RE1 because of muh nostalgia, even though it’s clear from this playthrough remembers nothing from it.
NGL on my first playthrough of RE1 I saved as soon as I got Ink Ribbons cause I didn't know how the game played etc. Idk why he saved after 2 minutes of actual progress but here we are. Also, thanks for the quality khantent dood!
Lol just starts out already gaslighting his audience into picking the easy options he wants. Holy crap, 40+ year old man can't work anything out for himself wants all the answers just handed to him on a plate. It's a pretty apt game for him. He is like a re-animated corpse, dead but still going through the motions.
He has such a suspicious lineup of "classic" games on his PS5 dashboard. When the fuck has Phil ever talked about Wild Arms, War of the Monsters, or Motorstorm Apocalypse? Why are they so prominent on his dashboard. Same with Siren and Infamous 2. And the actual OG PS1 version of RE1. What's going on there Phil. Did you have some kind of plan for a retro random grab bag night? Cause with any other streamer that would be a pretty fun idea. But this is DSP. So it's suspicious and scary and I don't like it.
A nice TIHYDP to start my day oh boy can't wait for him to trash on RE even though he keep saying he is a big fan, wondering around, get killed easy cause of his mistakes, potentially complains about Ink Ribbons, getting frustrated at bosses. The only thing I can give to DSP (at least his older version I don't know if that will happen here) is that when he plays the classics RE he does reload more through the menu than in-game which is safer.
Love this game. First run went like a dream. Puzzles were great, bosses were cool, maps where fun to explore, etc. 0 creative puzzle solving or attention to detail on his part
Ah, the last game he Replayed before 23. He Replayed 11 total, 2 of them being in 2023 of Oblivion & Fallout later. Wonder what 1 section of the game will be do better and 20 thing he gonna mess up on that he didn't originally. Can't wait
2 things about this. 1 - I can't image that half this playthrough is just being on the mansion map. And 2 - Why is he whining about the harder difficultly. If he played on the same difficultly as last time than what'd even be the point of him replaying it
Gotta love that his Christmas stream was that he'd drink Gin for 100$, but it's that high to "prove" to the trolls his income doesn't just rely on a few, big donations. But then 51:20 happens outside of that very Gin Stream where he gets a 100$ tip anyway. Like the only difference it made is he didn't drank Gin Valentine that day.
Got it, thanks. The long boring intros are good though, if you need sleep. Or if you hate yourself that much, and want to see Dave The Pigroach ruin yet ANOTHER RE game...or if you want to watch "The World's Most Incompetent Man-Child" ruin everything about the RE Remake...if he doesn't somehow inspire you to go back to the RE Remake and try it again.
You know those Npc´s are screaming in horror. "Oh my god, its him! Its Dsp and he boots up our game!" And Chris goes "Pick Jill, pick Jill...thank god"
Every damn RE game he plays, he wastes the ink ribbons and complains about it, and eventually gets lucky after multiple reloads. I'm talking the REmake 1st run, RE Zeor, REmake 2, RE3, probably others I'm forgetting. Not one time have I ever ran out of ink ribbons, nor have I came close. I always have double digit ink ribbons remaining. I always thought they were way too liberal with them but not Phil. He actually runs out. Amazing.
You know, this is probably one of the better playthroughs he did. Without the endless bitching, Phil is kinda funny. I really likes seeing this video Outsy.
Phil always tends to miraculously "remember something" like a guy acting in a movie from the 1950's. Practically snapping his fingers with some dumb light bulb over your head phrase, yeah not buying it buddy. Keep that walkthrough off screen just in case, we know you don't "remember" some vague puzzle or item in the area since you can't even remember the obvious stuff.
a quote a video game character named Akira Tadokoro Know what your problem is? You blamed everyone else. Said it was them or gods or fate that made you what you are. But it was YOU! Just you! Yeah, people can suck. We can be selfish-look out only for ourselves. But if you focus only on the bad-judge them at their worst, well... You've already made up your mind, haven't you? Everything else is just an excuse!
Watching him play Resident Evil games or survival horror in general is hilarious. “Old school gaming”😂this game came out the year I was born and I love it. Blaming the game because you wasted all your resources will never not be funny. And he’s talking about the “harder difficulties” while playing on normal like cmon man how do you play games everyday for a living and suck so bad
A FOUR MINUTE intro? Good god, even if it is informative and maybe you have to have it as a form of "Yes, this is fair use" declaration - but could you at least include a time code for the actual video start? Please?
Phil's humor is about as funny as terminal cancer. The funniest thing about him is that he thinks he is a super funny content creator and innovator of game streaming. A pioneer and trailblazer in the field of let's plays and all game streamers owe him a debt of gratitude.
Saw the TIHYDP of his Chris run on Josh Ryuk's channel before this one. And to this day, I cannot believe that Phil f***ed up the pressure shelter puzzle AGAIN! As his friend, I honestly don't know how Josh used to put up with this guy. Seriously, he's just that cringe-worthy.

It's fun listening to his tone when he has plenty of tips versus when he doesn't.
I still can’t believe that dsp is more adult about and secure about tihydp than supposed alpha male LTG. Holy shit he takes Ls even from DSP.
I sense another ink ribbon debacle...
2:23:10 might be one of the greatest DSP clips ever
😂😂😂😂 such a perfect Piggy death
Phil is such a ghoul - doesn't listen to music, doesn't read, and it's not clear what he watches except for WWE
It actually shocked me that he couldn't mention 1 rock / metal band that he liked.
Phil really is strange. He has basically no interests outside of Gin and WWE
I swear to god I looked away for like 5 minutes and I now I got Callisto, Ragnarok, Scarlet and now this piled up to binge. Jesus.
Elden Ring is coming up soon and that's going to be biggest.
@@gameplaysolotheblade holy fuck. I gotta start on these, then. God damn
@@SonsOfMiyazaki I'm still waiting for it goddammit 😂
Alright, i got my hot cocoa ready for some quality disaster playthrough :D
*Phil will be the guy At Walmart begging everyone for Tips Over on the Intercoms and Security Cameras*
If he played on the same difficultly as last time than what'd even be the point of him replaying it
Another great TIHYDP, thanks for that. I gotta admit that I started expecting an Ink Ribbon Bitching counter when, well, the bitching started, lol.
What does TIHYDP mean?
@@John-dd8kh It's just the abbreviation for "This Is How You DON'T Play"
Gotta love that his Christmas stream was that he'd drink Gin for 100$, but it's that high to "prove" to the trolls his income doesn't just rely on a few, big donations. But then 51:20 happens outside of that very Gin Stream where he gets a 100$ tip anyway. Like the only difference it made is he didn't drank Gin Valentine that day.
Thx for changing the font back, btw! This one's much better.
15:59 u get the helmet key way after the coffin inside the other house
9:30 lol hate to say it but he is right, 2015 is 8 years ago homey
Funny as fuck watching him fumble through shit WITH chat's help to shit I was able to figure out when I was fuckin' 10 years old.
Video starts at 4:05 so you skip the unnecessary intro.
Got it, thanks. The long boring intros are good though, if you need sleep. Or if you hate yourself that much, and want to see Dave The Pigroach ruin yet ANOTHER RE game...or if you want to watch "The World's Most Incompetent Man-Child" ruin everything about the RE Remake...if he doesn't somehow inspire you to go back to the RE Remake and try it again.
damn Umbrella monster Pig just cannot leave our RE Heroes alone huh?
he just got to find a way to desecrate them in ever worst levels
You know those Npc´s are screaming in horror. "Oh my god, its him! Its Dsp and he boots up our game!" And Chris goes "Pick Jill, pick Jill...thank god"
@@TheZodiacRipper its the guy!
@@ptrd4111 Even the npc´s knows its the GUY!
*Ah shit, here we go again.*
This is the best type of detractor content 👍🏻 keep it coming 🤣
I legit lol'd at that surprise hunter death
oooh i've been waiting for this one 😁 big ups! 🙏
DSP avoiding the dog hallway so much is just so funny to me because they’re so easy to dodge, you just run in a zig zag and they can’t even touch you
1:23:51 actually in the original you could only go through the hallway from one side at the start and that side always triggered the dogs
The champ is back! Lets fucking goooooo!
15:19 I whipped around in my chair thinking there was an imposter in his chat for a second. Keep my name outta your mouth DSP
I have never seen that cut scene with the shark blasting through the window. Darksydeplonker
No dog haunting the entrance for half the playthrough? 0/10 Dave.
Phil wasting all his ammo is so painful to watch.
Amazing.
I literally only really ever played Resident Evil 5 and i immediately realized that its a Custome Selection in the Beginning.
Tell me he doesn’t start complaining about not have ink ribbons.
Obviously Wesker sabotaged Bravo's chopper. He needed combat data for the B.O.W's.
I’ll pick haaaaaard
You know, this is probably one of the better playthroughs he did. Without the endless bitching, Phil is kinda funny. I really likes seeing this video Outsy.
Phil always tends to miraculously "remember something" like a guy acting in a movie from the 1950's. Practically snapping his fingers with some dumb light bulb over your head phrase, yeah not buying it buddy. Keep that walkthrough off screen just in case, we know you don't "remember" some vague puzzle or item in the area since you can't even remember the obvious stuff.
The "Master of Unlocking Things" versus the "Masterbator."
Dis' gon' be good.
One of my favorite games of all time + my favorite E begger in one video
Guess I gotta go watch the code Veronica tihydp for context lol
a quote a video game character named Akira Tadokoro Know what your problem is?
I've watched people play this game without dying once on the hardest difficulty but this Muppet can't make it ten minutes in without a death
A FOUR MINUTE intro? Good god, even if it is informative and maybe you have to have it as a form of "Yes, this is fair use" declaration - but could you at least include a time code for the actual video start? Please?
thank you, I was waiting for this!
Phil's humor is about as funny as terminal cancer. The funniest thing about him is that he thinks he is a super funny content creator and innovator of game streaming. A pioneer and trailblazer in the field of let's plays and all game streamers owe him a debt of gratitude.
9:25 the game released in January 2015 and he plays it again in December 2022. He rounded 7 years and 11 months up to 8 years, big deal.
You rock Outsider!
outsyder
Like always outsider deliver another banger!!
Banquet Banger!!
Damn I'm in the wrong job I should make a living sucking at video games and maybe some suckered will tip me 100 dollars
9:15 January 20, 2015 is *over* 8 years ago.
Also, he wasn't saying the remaster came out 8 years ago, he was saying he already played it as Chris 8 years ago.
