- In this video, I show how to install a intake resonator delete kit from PRL Motorsports for the 11th generation 2022+ Honda Civics. This kit is being installed in a 2022 Honda Civic Si. The manufacturer’s instructions state you need to remove the front bumper from the car. I found this is not the case. I will show you how to install the kit without removing the front bumper.

Very good tutorial honestly. Pretty straight foward and easy. Funny enough i have a 24 white si. I just put the prl intake on and am gonna do the 27won snorkel and the lower resonator plug when i get back to the shop.

@Stuckinthepast_ it fits very clean. You'll have to cut some of the oem rubber ducting to fit it, but works pretty good. I also changed the lower grille so in the mix of everything it felt like it had a lil more torque, but that might be front better intercooler air flow. It's a good supporting mod for other bolt ons

@Stuckinthepast_ a light up snorkel? 😂 idk about that. I have a white si and got a black snorkel. Unless you're looking for it, you wouldn't be able to tell its there. If you want it flashy the red is the way to go.
@@jackybwilin2594 yeah that’s what I want nothing noticeable and my bad it’s called the velossa tech snorkel 😂😂 and yes it does light up RBG style
Honestly its faster to take of the front bumper than to jack a car up get jack stands and take off the tire plus take half of the screws for the front bumper off on the bottom.😂
Good tutorial! I purchased this kit but haven't installed it yet. Will I notice a difference if I've already installed a K&N cold air intake on it? (I have a '22 Si as well)

Thanks for this, I own a white 24 myself. That red front bumper accent looks sharp, is that just a red tape you manually applied? And are those tinted tail lights?
No problem! The red accents were done by my wife. She cut the pieces using a vinyl machine and laid them by hand. We have a vinyl business, so we have the supplies on hand. I don’t see why it would. It’s a minor modification. With that being said, any modification you do to your car can cause warranty issues depending on the issue and dealership.
what’s the purpose of this resonator delete?
The kit increases the turbocharger’s and intake’s sound by eliminating the factory air box and intercooler charge pipe resonators.
@@nprformbut you need the air to go to the intercooler tho right?
@@jaybautista6673 This doesn’t affect the intercooler’s performance. It eliminates the small chamber designed to decrease intake sound.

@@jaybautista6673 I would believe if you have an aftermarket intake, there would not be a reason for doing this mod.
