It was a chilly Tuesday morning in Cheltenham when Christian arrived to surprise this week's Dream Car competition winner, Dawn Baker, with some very special news - that she is now our biggest ever cash winner, scooping an incredible quarter of a million pounds!
With the help of her husband, Christian and the team arrived at her office to give Dawn the surprise of a lifetime! "Oh my gosh! No way! Is this for me!" she exclaimed as she went straight in for the BOTB hug. Walking up the road, the couple had no idea that this time there wasn't going to be a car... but instead a huge digital screen revealing their eye-watering £250,000 win!
"I just can't believe this; I think I might have to sit down!" she exclaimed as the realisation of her win began to sink in. Having first played in the airports, it's now a tradition in the Baker house each Sunday for all the family to play, including Dawn's husband, Tim, and two sons, Joey and Louis. Dawn usually plays for the Range Rover Velar... well, with this crazy sum of money, she can buy three!
Having had a tough time recently with her dad being unwell, Dawn plans to use the money towards spending more quality time with her family as well as treating her husband and sons - massive congratulations Dawn!

lol, had to really laugh when she mentioned years ago & Spot the Ball as just before she said that/seeing this, I had been literally thinking/remembering the same, back in those days it was in the Newspaper, (in black & white!), cut it out, get your Postal Order (wonder who remembers those!) & a trip to the Post Office, to post your entry! Think the top prize was £100,000, maybe £50,000 but think it was the former! Then you had to check the next week's Sunday paper to see the results. Think my late brother won a runner up prize of £50, via cheque, as prizes were given out by cheque back then! Back in the 70's. And then there was Littlewoods & Vernons Pools, no lottery till the 90's! Anyway, well Done Dawn, though am perplexed as to how no car but a cash value and also at such (a large) amount, was it a special week? Or maybe I just need to re-read the entry details!! (Though I understand there are cash prizes but not at that amount, that I can see. Perhaps it was a one off amount/week, similar to the Superdraw in Euromillions, i.e., one off amounts from time to time).
