- Hello!!
For all you curious, here is a glimpse of my top spots in University of Kent! I'll show you my room, a couple pubs/cafes on campus, the student union, and some nice scenery! Then off to town to get the vibe of the locals on a busy Saturday afternoon. Enjoy!
Sorry about the awful audio quality... GoPro5 is horrendous
Song: Champagne Sunshine by Tarro PLVTINUM (I do not own anything)
thank you so much for this! I got an unconditional offer from Kent and I’m so unsure of where to go but this video made me fall in love all over again!!
Glad you love it!!! Kent is an absolutely amazing school so I hope to see you around!
I did like it pros you are near all the beaches Whitstable,, herne Bay, margate, and folkestone. Cons shops close around 5 and buses around 7 pm strange asda was open 24 hours had to walk there. I did struggle to adjust but fantastic support and lovely countryside gulbenkian cheapest cinema in UK! Saw the hobbit. Weird 3d the film was contained within the screen
I had the best three years of my life there. Good to see it again.
loved this tour/vlog really exited to start my undergrad now like right now
im glad you enjoyed it!! youll have a great time at kent
at 4:08, That was the best view of Canterbury. I used to sit there reading till sunset.
yaaay i am going in 2022:) cannot wait
Lots and lots of changes since my days at UKC.
I was a student at UKC in the '90s. Good old days! Some of the best years of my life. My room overlooked the duck pond! Great video, sent me on a trip down memory lane!
I remember coming through Clearing in the early 90s, missing on Kent (after having met the admissions tutor in European Studies and stupidly refused the offer because it included a language) and ending up at Keele in Staffordshire, a very cold, isolated, depressing place. Very few students south of Oxford. Canterbury beats Newcastle Under Lyme any day. Closer to London and the Continent.
I was thinking about going to Keele, is a good university?
Read my google comment at Uni of Keele@@andrew8577
Can you please show us the cricket training ground??
Hey any advice plz.. I am gonna choose between Kent business school and northumbria university in Newcastle for MSc logistics and supply chain management.. where should I go? Fee is almost the same but I want to study seriously..so which uni teaching ll be better? Also any input on part time jobs in Canterbury??
They sell fresh mushrooms on campus?! I'll be in heaven
U r amazing ♡♡
thank you so much!! so sorry for the late reply :)
I wish I can study there one day
Hope you are now
For the ones that are excited to go to Kent and dont know how is the university, you can relax, its a very good campus and I recommend everyone that university.
I went there in an exchange last year, and this was so incredible and memorable
Hi, I'd like to know what you did to make friends as an exchange student, could you tell me more?
I graduated 2000, but this makes me feel 20 again :) Darwin bar has barely changed.....amazing memories
I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your videos, I went to Kent for my applicant day today and I have just firmed it. I cannot wait to study there and your videos have really helped my decision-making process. Also, you are just the sweetest person xx

I live about 5 minutes away from Kent uni and it is beautiful in summer( I’m only 11)😂
Is it based in Canterbury?
@@ajs41 yeah
I really like U of Kent, however I'm from Kent and have always planned on going further away for uni
I'm about to move into Kent Uni and I'm so freaking excited! It's such a nice campus and environment!
Hey can someone please tell me what the weather is like at Kent throughout the year except summertime?
It does rain a lot. And u might be snowed in but when it is sunny it is hot! But I used to go for long walks the biggest range of societies I have seen in any other unis.
Here in 2024! Im going to Kent next year and im doing international law with a year abroad. When you do the year abroad, do you have to arrange your own accomodation? I was just wondering to anyone in the comments who can tell me, thanks! :)
Thanks for this! So useful because I missed the open day lol x
Really great video! Thank you. I have an unconditional offer from Kent, this video makes me even more excited to come here! :) The views look amazing and the campus is gorgeous. I saw a bit of it during my applicant day, but not all. I liked and subscribed.

Kent really is beautiful the garden of England as it's called.
Your 'college' was a field when I was there. Darwin hasn't changed much.
I lived in Darwin in my first year of study. That was in the 80's. Yeah, It didn;t changed much.
I graduated back in 2016 and was definitely an amazing 3 years
I am planning to apply to Kent for aba as well! I visited the university in January however it was closed and I was not able to see much. Would I be able to ask you more about the program and university?

Good luck!
@@brittmomo441 YAY I GOT IN!😄
Thanks for sharing! I graduated in 2002 and now live on the other side of the world, so never returned. Hope to go back one day.
Hi do you have videos for darwin/Keynes studio flats, I want to take that with a friend but the website does not show clear pictures
Wow, the nostalgia hits hard watching this video. I graduated in 2018 and honestly haven’t thought much about uni since, as I fully expected to be living the graduate lifestyle in a big city. A certain little pandemic ruined those plans. I will definitely need to return to Canterbury after the pandemic with my uni friends for a proper reunion.
Where is everyone?
is kent a tough university to get accepted to?
i got in haha
I loved the campus but loathed my course.
This motivated me to study :)
Wow nice campus, I wish to come there
I’m thinking about studying at ukc so I’m just like watching all of your videos. You’re so helpful. :)
Could you record the place where they teach music production and the gear that they used? Thank you
Planning to go to Kent in what? 6 years? 😂
This video brought back so much memories! I started my undergrad in ukc back in 2011, it was awesome watching you discover it like I once did :) the new library looks dope!
I was thinking about applying to Kent but I'm not sure. I've got some qs, what do you study? What's the teaching like? Is there a lot of diversity?
It's always been a great uni. Best three years of my life
Great Video! Thanks :)
Thanks for the memories. I used to go here many years ago.
That's a moorhen BTW 🙂
Im in folkestone aspiring to do computer science
Great content! Looking forward to seeing more about Gandalf xx

Darwin, that's where I was 1985-1988.
Pretty
fittt
Is there a good bus service from campus?
Ellen Rose yes! It’s very reliable if you BUY the bus pass. There is no free shuttle
It's its reliable but at around midnight u might have to get a taxi or walk I lived in parkwood and them fancy flats. The foxes and widelife used to scare me!
Brittany Chan, also the bus passes are so expensive 😂
You video brings back m so many memories. Thanks for this. I was there 2014-2015 as a master student
You're fit.
Graduated.
What are you studying?
I'm currently studying applied behavioral analysis MsC
I'd just like to apologise for how 'scruffy' Britain is in general, it must be a real eye opener. Our councils seem to spend our money on sculptures no one asked for, silly events to 'look good' and looking after other people's delinquent children. I don't like it either 'sigh'
