    • @MissCarriesCreations

      @@MissCarriesCreationsI'm so excited for this. I have been scouring the internet how to have cut dashed lines because my scorinf stylus doesn't score deep enough. I don't have a Cameo 4 that cut the score lines. I have a way of adding dashed cut lines but it takes me all day just to add those on the lines that I want scored. Sorry for the long reply. Hope I'm making sense. I'll be on the lookout for the upcoming video. Yay!

    Newly subscribed! Great video! Hoping you could offer a tip - I was hoping to both cut & score an 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock to get two A2 cards but it wants a larger material size. Thought I could pretend to draw (by not putting in a pen) my 8.5 x 11 “shape” instead of as basic cut & still get my cut & score lines but I’ve heard it doesn’t score or cut to the edge. I would really like to not have to use 12 x 12 paper. Thanks in advance!!

    • @MissCarriesCreations

    • @MissCarriesCreations
      @MissCarriesCreations  Год назад

      Hi Anne! If your machine is scoring, then you have the correct line in place. Depending on the size of the line or the version of Design Space you are using, it may look like a solid line. If it says score in the layers panel and the machine is scoring your project -- you are doing great!!!

    How do I create a diagonal score line?

  • @matthewneesley761
    @matthewneesley761 2 года назад +1

    My brand-new Maker 3 is being idiotic, it REFUSES to recognize the "01" tool...if i change to a material that demands I insert the "02" tool, it works just fine. ARRRRGH!

    • @MissCarriesCreations
      @MissCarriesCreations  2 года назад

      That can be frustrating. There are a few things you can try. Make sure the tool is clean and free from debris and that the reflective surface on the housing is clean. Gently clean the tool sensor with compressed air or a microfiber cloth.
      If those do not work, uninstall and reinstall design space , reconnect your machine, and do a test cut. If none of those work, you will need to contact Cricut for help.
