They were probably searching for a 'normal' picture of them because the AMAs can't handle Ghosts masked and satanic appearance and theme (hence why they didn't get televised although their category was brand new) and so they ended up with the Love Ghost one and couldn't care less to check even once if this was still the same band. I work at an arena that hosted both Ghost & MGK tours this summer. MGK & his fans were rude and drunk af. MGK played past scheduled end disrespecting crew/staff & got himself fined. Ghost & fans where polite & fun. They started/ended on time and Papa thanked crew & staff at end. Karma’s a bitch, MGK and will catch up with you.

I know there was one photographer who called Tobias, Mr. Forge, believe their name is Taylor Hill so at least one of the photographer's did some research and treated Tobias with respect instead of...Mr.Ghost
I feel like Tobias (who probably had to fly out for this) just sat through this whole nightmare trying his best not to judge how fucking weird Americans are. I’d be miserable at one of these events. The televised portions feel like a waste of time and I can assume the non-televised portions are the same level of awkwardness. Tobias probably developed PTSD from this whole AMAs thing /j. I know I would.
I sat and watched the entire of the AMAs hoping to see Tobias make an acceptance speech. 3 whole hours of singers in shitty costumes (especially mgk. like dude what was that) and just plain boring show and tell. after it was all done, i saw them in the non-televised list of winners, and i was so disappointed. looking at their popularity and the fact that the award they won was the FIRST EVER, Tobias deserved to make an acceptance speech. to be fair, i don't think any of the album winners made an acceptance speech, so that justifies it a little, but still. after it was over, i went on discord and saw a few of my friends talking about it, and saw that Tobias was there but didn't make an appearance (he totally rocked that outfit btw. the best dressed winner there. and those HEELS). I saw the paparazzi where the lady called him "Mr. Ghost" and almost shit myself laughing. he has a name, wtf, learn his name before you ask him questions. Aren't these supposed to be professionals? all in all, the AMAs should not have treated their name and their reputation like that. The whole Ghost fanbase is upset and an apology is both desired and needed.
Most American awards shows don’t take any rock category seriously. I’m sure Mr. ghost didn’t take it too personally, considering how widespread the issue is.
