Can’t wait. It’s about time that an animated pit crew is coming soon. We have ALL been waiting... patiently. It’s great to see that such an awesome and respectable sim came out of my home town of Bedford Massachusetts.
Awesome, Can we also get shifting animations. I shift a lot more times in a race then I pit. Sucks when you play Asseto Corsa and other sims then switch back to iracing and your hands never leave the wheel. In VR it sure does take away from the sim experience. This should be top of the list in animations in my opinion.

Wonder if there will be animations of them fixing your car, like pulling the right sides back out after you hit the wall, popping the hood open to fix a smoking engine, etc.

Wait so this is instead of sitting in the car? IDK if I like it then... Would be too quick for me to catch up to start driving again, and would be less realistic if you saw this instead of sitting in the car, although I doubt that's when it gets shown. Is it just people/the crew on every car, or does it change to this camera angle? I'm kinda confused.. lol
This view will be for spectators and replays type of thing. You will be sitting in the car when they do the pit stop just like you do currently my friend.

Woo now i’m just wondering f y’all are gonna add like real debris and stuff because that would be super cool because if you wreck bad sometimes nothing bad happens but the body bends a little what if this stuff fell off that would be super cool

i think i would be cool is in the higher class race you can have a pit crew messed. Like they cant take off a tire quickly or put on a tire quickly, etc reply on other way your pit crew could mess and do you agree that be cool
When will this be coming out?
Will this show other racer's crew or will it be for your car only like in NR2003? I imagine 20 cars pitting would mean 100 people in the pits, which could be very taxing on the hardware, especially since it already lags on start-finish line.
Will we be able to see other drivers pit crews as well?
They should have spent their time and money into a new sound engine
+dubtube : New sound engine, new tire physics, new crash physics, newer graphics, better netcode. They get lots of money, I do wonder why their development is soooo slow. When you can see these smaller indie companies who don't charge the monthly fees, higher premium for cars and tracks just crank stuff out so fast. Yes some of those being laser scanned too.

-Driver controlled headlights (maybe)
-general vehicle updates
-and slight system/software renovations and repairs.
If I’m within a week plus or minus or I get the features right please someone buy me one if the LMP1 cars.

well almost each category is difefent on how to take the wheels or refueling i would love to see them in an open wheel car and gt3
Enrique Sandoval yea that's why NASCAR gets it first. It's the same thing for all its series. Unlike road, I say the first road car to get it is F1, following the sports cars

Yes, they said in the forums they are starting with the oval side and will continue through to the road side as well.

THIS. And day and night cycles. Watch half the competion hit the wall with either of these features. Went to race on SPA during night this weekend and no one was biting. CMON YOU PANSIES!!! lol
Day and night cycles are coming to iRacing,and is in development.
Rain is also confirmed as being in development. No date yet. Could take a while. Aside from the visuals, car behavior and track conditions have to feel real. And every track + car combination is different when it rains. And then you have different kinds of rain under different temperatures. Not so easy to implement as people think.
Do I lose SR when I hit them? Because I can't come in straight worth a damm lol
