Looking for help. Recently upgraded a typhon mega to brushless. Spektrum 3300kv motor/esc. I had to switch 2 wires because forward and reverse were switched on the controller(instructions said to do this). I only run on 2s(gen ace bashing battery) at 75% for my kids. We get about 5 mins run time and it shuts off as if it overheated. Turn it off then back on and run it for another 5 mins. Fans on esc not motor and neither feel hot. Does it in cool weather also. I was told that this programmer can help but watching the video I’m not sure how it would? Any help would be appreciated. I also have the stock controller and don’t want to upgrade.

Since i have hobbywing program card why not i try lol,and now had fun with more punch,i can't afford spectrum program cards,its to expensive in my country

My programmer is stuck on connecting esc...
Pretty sure the exhaust pipes are to be mounted under the hood poking threw. Kinda like the blower is.
Those pipes are mounted to the hood in the same way the turbos are in fact they use the same holes! I designed these in 3d and ran them on my 3d printer.
So this will only work with SMART ESCs?

Yes
Save money and just modify settings by holding the set button :) I have the felony and Losi SBR 2.0 and you do not need these cards to make adjustments.
Very true and this is the way I had done it leading up to this video. I had a request to make a video on the program card and after using it I found it is more intuitive than the manual for beginners.

Do I need to buy this if I'm getting the spektrum dx5c transmitter?
I want to go all smart on my trx4sport! So I'm preordering the new crawler system from them.
The only reason you would need this is if you where programing a smart ESC. A transmitter will not require it.

Will this work with the Spektrum 8s ESC ?
I believe you need the V2 programmer for the 8s esc.
@@Hobby365 I rang logic the UK distributer and yes V2 works fine so I brought one
I have the same programming card,mine won't connect to ESC I have everything connected correctly just stays stuck at Connecting ESC screen
Try double checking the direction you have the cable plugged into. It is very easy to get it backwards.
Can I program spktrum firma 85a esc with it?
Yes you can.
Just picked one of these up. I hook it up and it click to start and it just reads connecting to esc
Double check to make sure you don't have the wires plugged in backward.

I likes all you videos loud and clear but if you can help me with my DX5 pro just now i get it and i like to setup with my ARRMA Truck 1/5 KRATON 4X4 and how to program it from the beginning if you can step by step or if you have uploaded one like that please need your help

Why did they Remove the low voltage adjustment from the card?
I am under the assumption that was done to reduce the likelihood of a setup error that would ruin batteries.

It is a male to male extension some times known as a patch cable. Horizon has a couple including EFLG613 and SPMA3043

Does the programmer do AVC setting?
No the AVC is part of the Receiver not part of the ESC. I do have a video that goes over the set up for the AVC if you need some additional Help, ruclips.net/video/IKUy_61itO0/видео.html

I am not sure I fully understand your question. I assume your programing card doesn't show drag brake as an adjustable parameter? What ESC are you using?
I think if anyone is at this level watching this video they should know what the white signal wire is for.

Why does it skip some parameters? Mine skips #3 LVC cutoff
So what's the point of the manual for the esc is the programming shows the different parameters as different #s than the manual. Super confusing. I can adjust timing from the controller, but can't get to the same menu option if using esc to program manually. Starting to dislike firma/spektrum stuff.
I wish I had answers for you as to the trouble you are having. I don't know why you cant adjust the LVC.
?an you run a blx motor with this esc ?
Yes you should be able to run different brand motors with this esc.

Mine tells me to update the software. I use the PC program and make sure I have the latest version and it does. I try again and it says the same thing every time. Spectrum tech support tried to help me, but they couldn't say why it wasn't working either. I tried two different ones in two different Spectrum Firma Smart ECS from a Typhon 6S V5 and the Kraton 6S V5. No dice....I have an expensive voltage reader now....
It is hard to say what the issue is as I have never experienced that error.
150a firma esc are glitchy bro. its well known, and im sure they gone stop making them soon.
Arma is sure to switch out to 160a esc on all thier 1:8 rtr.
Using the app, via the included USB cable, is much more user-friendly. The programmer isn't terribly intuitive, IMO. I ordered the Dashboard app, w/ BT2000 module and cellphone holder, which displays all the info on the RC systems, like RPM, MPH, current, voltage, motor temp plus you get access to all of the trim menus, eliminating the "hold steering wheel to full right, while holding the throttle . . . yada, yada."
I haven't used any of the app stuff. I will look into it.
Do you have any problem contacting the app to the module?
@@javii5326 Yes. If you don't have your cell phone in the provided carrier, the bluetooth signal isn't strong enough to connect. Once you've successfully paired, it should re-connect when you open the app.
I have the same thing. Unfortunately the Android app is terrible and constantly drops connection (read the app reviews), or the app crashes on my OnePlus7Pro. The iPhone works much better, and doesn't drop as often, though the screen rotating at the slightest tilt is mildly annoying. In fact, when going into settings menu in the app the screen immediately flips over and stays and I end up holding my controller backwards.
@@GovG33k Agreed, the Bluetooth connection is tenuous, at best. My comment was pre-mature, as I had only used the app once. Subsequent attempts have been seriously problamatic.
Useless if you don’t have a computer with windows to update the damn thing.
Will this work with the stock Granite BLX ESC?
If it is the Firma esc (the V3 truck) it will. If it is the older one it wont.
@@Hobby365 It is the V3 truck, it is the stock ESC not sure if it is considered firma? Just don’t want to buy it to find out it doesn’t work.
