Nice fabric, stylish sleeves but that hood though is a complete fail IMHO. It's a poor design that's just uncomfortable and weird looking. Western Rise would have been better off using the same pattern as the Airloft which as a great hood. I have no idea what they were going for with this hood design. It looks like wearing a nappy on your head or one of those thin zip-away hoods that go back into the collar.
While the pocket in the back is nice for stashing stuff, the whole bag idea is unnecessary given that the target community, I'd wager, would already carry a sling. Also, you feel it as you walk around.

Very good points, a zip off hood and maybe making it overall lighter so it could stash into a pocket rather than a bag would be good
