Thank you for sharing this! I know some cruises have playdates and kids areas the parents can go with their little ones (toddler playroom or a playground), if they are anxious about being separated in a drop off setting. Does carnival have anything like this or is camp ocean the only option? If so I am curious what you guys did/ would recommend doing onboard, if a little one doesn’t go to camp ocean.
Thanks for watching! Some ships have playgrounds, SportsSquare and Dr. Seuss Bookville that are great places to take little ones. Our daughter pretty much hangs with us the entire cruise. We walk around, get ice cream and pizza, play in WaterWorks, visit the arcade for the lights and sounds, collect golf balls at mini golf, etc. We keep pretty busy!
Thank you so much for making this video! I've been trying to research and it seems like you guys are the only resource!! Sorry it didn't work out so well this time. Do you guys do any other kind of daycare in her normal day today? Also, do you know what their staff to child ratio is?
Thank you!!! No, she is not in daycare since I work from home. I don’t know the ratio. That’s an excellent question! I’ll have to find out on our next cruise. I know they don’t have to follow the same ratios that we do in the states though. When do you sail?
Here are the radio she was crying, so I’m so proud of her because I haven’t seen a single cry her face cause she’s older and I love your kid. She’s so cute and I’m gonna be on the sunrise cruise like you, but we’re gonna be there like after you so I can’t figure out that’s sadand I’m giving your thumbs up and I’m gonna try to find your videos every day so I can watch
Sea days typically have hours of 8-10am where there’s parent stay and play time or you can drop off for an extra cost. Night Owls from 10pm-1am for an extra cost. Port days have limited hours as well, but may vary by ship so you’ll have to check the HUB app once on board.
When you check in for your cruise, 14 days prior to your sail date, you can pre-register your children and you’ll answer a few questions. (We show this in the beginning of our video.) On embarkation day, you can go do a tour of the facility and meet some of the staff. Then throughout your cruise, you’ll just drop off your children as needed, no need to schedule drop offs or book times in advance.
The other there is camp ocean and my friend Reagan came on it and it was a carnival cruise and it wasn’t like the same crazy one and I loved it and we’re going after a concert. My sister is going because she loves Taylor Swift. Her name is Karley and I’m so proud of your daughter. She did a great job.

I have a question, how often do they allow under 2’s in camp ocean?

Camp Ocean looks very boring. Their program doesn't have the nice counselors actively engaging with the kids.
They have a schedule of activities and themed nights. Some children really love it!
