Years ago when we all read magazines and you could write in and ask the editor questions. A reader wrote in and asked the editor, How do ride at 20mph? The editor answered with, ride at 20mph.
Ronan’s always been all or nothing which either meant a result or a crash seems like he’s been doing some fine tuning on that front! One of the most exciting riders to watch, a lot like Thibaut!👍🏻
Yeah there is fairly similar soil and profile at Djouce (his local). But the section he was filmed on would take him 25-30 seconds to complete. There a second section that he does in another 20-25 seconds. So similar in a way but not in any way comparable when adding in the 30+ jumps and 3 minutes of track time
@@MovingTheNeedlePodcast yes, you. Emily Batty was the one telling the story. Something about when one team had downhillers and xc riders at the same time. I wish I could remeber where it happened as that video us an hour but I don't. She just said "Neethling" but you're the only one I know of.
New quoting him 45 seconds in when I hear that I hear I looked at the times and saw I was going to win "unless" I ended up crashing but that's just how I interpreted it
The cycling remarks is getting a bit crazy lately in all perspectives. A lot of people is placing a lot on the game bur that is normal in all extreme sports
they all could if slip end up in a HELI RIDE - think RONAN and OSIN seem switched on a bit of banter I think like any sport he now has had that feeling - IT BECOMES NORMAL like extreme skiing or any action sport and VALLI was on fire she gets bucked but like DH skiing you can't catch a inside leg in the WEIGHT TRANSFER MOMENT she may work on her technique fine tune that weight transfer she was so fast

So exciting
That track looked insanely similar to the track vital MTB did the raw video with Ronan on, which was his local DH track.

You were mentioned in Redbull's Behind the Line that just released, fyi. Something about throwing bread at an XC racers head at the table.
Who was mentioned? Me ?

Haha guess it’s me. Def only Neethling out there . We were teammates on trek . Thanks man
Every rider there knows if they push hard enough to win they're risking a heli ride.
haha yup fair point

We know its a figure of speech. It also shows where the sport is.
