How boudaaat.
Nice tutorial, thank you ....I've been wanting to create a landscape scene of a forest and river but it seemed a little daunting,
Your tutorial has not only provided some inspiration but also an efficient method to get me started ! ... and explore some creativity.
So glad it helped! 🙌 For trees there is a nice plug-in built right into Blender too. Just search add-ons for Sapling, if you haven't used it yet.
Nice very nice video, appreciated, want more content like this♥️♥️
Literally wanna see your content more, bruh!
Thanks! I've got a new series coming out this summer 🤘
Thank you for a tutorial that has given me the knowledge that exist within a great teacher. I may be late finding this, but I'm glad I did. Again, thank you for the lesson.
Very welcome! It's a simple thing, but so many tiny steps to make it actually work out.
I've learned in life that the simplest things can often be the most difficult to learn and master, that's why I was so grateful for your tutorial. You made it easy to follow and understand, allowing me to be productive with my blender experience. Thank you so much. @@SourPlanet
Thank You
You're welcome 🙌
amazing! thank you. that's exactly what I needed.
Awesome. Enjoy!
Thank you so much, I was so confused on how to get this to work! Thanks man!
Happy to help 🙌
Thank you, really nice tutorial and I like the way you explained everything!!
Glad you found it helpful 🙌
good stuff bro!
Thanks! Happy to help 💪
thank you so much for this tutorial! and this tool. amazing
Happy to help! 🙌
thanks alot, now i know why my ctl+shift+t wasnt working
Blenders always doing that. Either you hit a hotkey and end up baffled or you hit a hotkey and it doesn't do anything 😂
I have a problem. I can’t add a principled setup because it says active mode should be of type BSDF_PRINCIPLED and its disabled. I’m trying to change the textures on my model to pbr textures so how do i fix it even though i have node wrangler enabled
You need Big support Bro ❤️
Haha thanks! 🙌
Hey this is great! I think I kind of get the idea on how I might convert some of this workflow to Unity. I think I've been thinking too modular with smaller assets and probably need some sort of larger asset to build on. Might call it a hero asset or texture.
I might be headed into Unity around the middle of next year. So I might poke and prod you with the occasional question. I've got a kids book brewing that could really use some interactive supplement and unity seems to be the way to go. All theory for now tho. Anyway, thanks for watching 🙌
Great tutorial thanks, the only thing I am wanting to do is add new material to the blender program so I don't need to keep going to the file browser and adding the image files all the time?
Thank you very much
how do I make stay like that when I go back to eevee
My blender View file doesn't pop up, do you know why?
Are you in cycles and in the render preview viewport view?
THANKS
thanks
very useful tutorial!
Happy to help 💪
I select all my files in the shader editor but it doesn't connect them all to the principles
i have those same 5 textures in 4k but when i select them with ctrl + shift + T, it just gives me an error... :(
What does the error say? You should see either a pop up or a line of text in the very bottom bar of the main Blender UI.
why i cant select the object, after i put a subdivision modier? is it normal ?
That hasn't happened to me before. Are you able to upload the file somewhere so I can check it out?
So Node wrangler can be used with Cycles only and not with Eevee especially want for the displacement map. Can we use Node Wrangler for displacement in Eevee
Hey i am having a problem. I am on a Mac Mini M1 and Blender 3.1.2 When I switch to Bump and Discplacement on Texture settings, blender crashes. What could it be?
]
thanks a lot Bro!
You're welcome 💪💪
Does this works for games like, i can use it on games?
when i try to put in the images nothing happens and nothing gets affected pls help
Are you in the render preview, using cycles?
Can we rename this video to Ctrl +Shift + T, how can someone remember that.
Slap a sticky note on your monitor 👍
How do I scale the look down? Like in the original scene before the tut started- the boxes were small
Great video btw! I've been struggling with these :D
at 3:40 , I change Surface settings to Displacement and Bump but it doesnt do a single thing to my model/texture like it does in the video, its still just a flat image on a flat plane
What mode is your viewport? And are you using cycles as your render preview engine?
@@SourPlanet oh i feel silly i was in material preview , changed it to rendered preview and it shows it just fine , thank you kindly 😁
@@bluntly- Awesome. Glad it was something super easy to fix. That's 3D, right? It's so often just like one little checkbox that ruins a day ha.
@@SourPlanet Yup everything works as shown in the video , i just happened to be in the wrong viewport😂
Thanks so much for this. One question: Does node wrangler (or is it Blender) that doesn't like to play with targa's for texture? The auto connecting setup throws an error that it can't find matching files when I use the ctrl-shft-T hotkey and select my image maps. I'm guessing it's either my naming convention, which I just add _N _D _M etc. to the end, or it's that .tga's aren't reading in that hotkey process. I have to manually drag them in. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks again!
CTRL Shift T doesnt work for me
Do you have Node Wrangler enabled?
@@SourPlanet yea i figured it out thankls
@@tincoils-tutorialsandgamin7790 Oh ok. Happy to hear it 🙌
what if the material doesn't have a displacement node like some materials in quixel?
I'm not terribly familiar with Quixel, but I do remember hearing that you have to have "experimental" set instead of "supported" in the exporter from Quixel. Otherwise you have to create a displacement node manually. Do you see that option when exporting?
@@SourPlanet yes I saw it, but even though I checked it, the displacement node was not exported
@@aliassajjad5880 I'll check it out if I get a chance (finals week at University). It sounds like you may have to create a displacement node manually. It's quite easy, though. I believe Quixel still generates the displacement image. So you should only have to hook up the node and browse for the image.
Well it's not all done, it didn't grab and setup the AO texture!
Oh yeah, this is just for basic stuff. This won't function outside the viewport at all. It's for pre-viz mostly.
